ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the patent technological domain distribution of shanghai health system, and comparative analysis of patent technological hotspots between shanghai health system and enterprises. Methods The study used IPC classification method to conduct quantitative analysis of the distribution of patent technology,co-words analysis and visualization of social network establishment method were adopted to analyze patent technological hot spots. Results Within the A61 category, numbers of authorized patents of shanghai health system in orders are A61B、A61K、A61M and A61F.Further analysis of the highest authorized A61B17 group patent in the highest class A61B found that, compare to enterprises, the degree of coincidence with the high-frequency keywords of the technology hotspots is small, the technical hotspots are scattered, and lack of overall technical arrangement. Conclusions Shanghai health system mainly focused on medical device development. It is lower than that of enterprises regarding to the patent technology market demand matching, technical arrangement of the enterprise is relatively better than the health system, thus, the study suggested enhancing market demand survey, adjusting patent distribution, and broadening the scope of market promotion.

ABSTRACT

Based on the literature data in CNKI, data mining and analysis technologies were used in this paper to describe the scientific research and development direction of Pharmacognosy in the last decade from the perspective of bibliometrics. The analysis of measured data revealed the core research institutions, excellent research teams, leading scholars, major research aspects and research progress in the field. Results showed that most of the scholars in the field were from colleges and institutions, accounting for 74.6% of the total research findings and forming a group of core scholars. In terms of frequency and timeliness of citation, pharmacognosy is a discipline in sustained growth and development since it mainly cites the literature in the other disciplines, absorbs and utilizes knowledge of the other disciplines. Over the last few years, molecular identification and genetic diversity have become the research hotspots in pharmacognosy, and the techniques and methods such as ISSR, RAPD, DNA barcoding and DNA molecular marker have been widely used.

ABSTRACT

Objective This study aimed to accurately understand medical teaching design research status and development trend to provide practical basis for the future of the medical teaching practice. Methods CNKI academic journal articles from January 1,2000 to December 30,2013 were retrieved, using search item for the subject, the retrieval word for instructional system design or instructional design, and the retrieval subject for medicine, and matches are precise retrieval way,and a total of 298 articles were retrieved. The common word analysis method was used to compare the high frequency keywords, analyze the key words in the article, and study the high frequency keywords clustering. Results In the two stages from 2000 to 2006 and from 2006 to 2013,research on medical teaching design of the courseware, distance education and other traditional E-learning-frequency gradually reduced, and vocabulary frequency related to education informationization of new situation such as cooperative learning, teacher education and constructionism and so on increased. In addition,in the second stage, some fresh words related to new technologies and new media appeared, such as interactive electronic whiteboard, virtual reality technology and so on.According to the correlation of keywords in 2007-2013,we found that the current medical teaching design research mainly gathered in three aspects such as classroom teaching, information technology supporting the reform of medical teaching and the training of medical teaching practitioners. Conclusion The research concluded that today and the future of medical teaching design research will mainly focus on three aspects such as effective teaching, the diversification of teaching supported by information technology and open medical education research under the Internet environment.

ABSTRACT

Background & objectives: Artemisinin was first extracted from the herb Artemisia annua which has been used for many centuries in Chinese traditional medicine as a treatment for fever and malaria. It has been given the 2011 Lasker-DeBakey clinical medical research award. In this paper, knowledge map of artemisinin research was drawn to provide some information for global researchers interested in artemisinin and its relevant references. Methods: In this work, bibliometric analysis and knowledge visualization technology were applied to evaluate global scientific production and developing trend of artemisinin research through Science Citation Index (SCI) papers and Medline papers with online version published as following aspects: publication outputs, subject categories, journals, countries, international collaboration, citations, authorship and co-authorship, author key words and co-words analysis. The Thomson Data Analyzer (TDA), Netdraw and Aureka software were employed to analyze the SCI as well as Medline papers data for knowledge mapping. Results: Global literature of artemisinin research has increased rapidly over the past 30 years and has boosted in recent years. Seen from the statistical study in many aspects, Pharmacology & Pharmacy, and Chemistry are still the main subjects of artemisinin research with parasitology and tropical medicine increasing quickly. Malaria Journal and American Journal of Tropical Medicine are top productive journals both in SCI and Medline databases. Quantity and quality of papers in US are in a leading position, although papers quantity and active degree in developing countries such as P.R. China, Thailand and India are relatively high, the quality of papers from these countries needs to be improved. New emerging key words and co-words remind us that mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics, artemisinin-based alternatives, etc. are the future trends of artemisinin research. Conclusion: Through bibliometric analysis the development trends of artemisinin research are predicted. With further development of artemisinin research, it is presumed that scientists might concentrate mainly on the synthesis of new compounds with activity, action mechanism, new artemisinin-based combination therapy regimens, etc.
