This article embarks from the childhood cancer survivors evaluate the status quo,the continuity care,continuity of care methods and effect evaluation of content and so on were reviewed,aimed at the future childhood cancer survivors provides the theory basis for implementation of continuity of care.
ABSTRACT
Objective To explore the continuity nursing effect of WeChat platform on PICC patients with intermittent chemotherapy. Methods 150 patients with primary PICC intubation tumor were selected as the study object, and were divided into three groups according to the order of treatment, each group of 50 cases. The control group adopted the traditional health education mode; the observation group 1 pushed PICC catheter maintenance related content three times a week based on WeChat platform on the basis of routine health education, and the observation group 2 on the basis of routine health education pushed PICC catheter maintenance related content, collected questions three times and answered questions for everyone in the Weixin group. The PICC self-management ability and incidence of catheter-related complications of the three groups were compared after 3 months. Results The scores of PICC self-management ability in the three groups were (133.84±5.67), (142.36±8.62) and (148.76±6.52). There was significant difference in the scores of PICC self-management ability between the three groups (F=56.384, P<0.05). The incidence of catheter-related complications in the three groups were 14% (7/50), 4% (2/50) and 2% (1/50), respectively, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=6.643, P<0.05) between the three groups. The incidence of catheter-related complications was statistically significant only in the control group compared with the observation group 2 (χ2=4.891, P<0.05). Conclusions Continuous nursing based on Weixin platform can improve the self-management ability of PICC catheterization patients during the intermittent period of chemotherapy. Continuous nursing based on Weixin group chat can reduce the incidence of catheter-related complications, which is worthy of wide clinical recommendation.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of continuity nursing model in caring patients with malignant obstructive jaundice treated with percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage (PTBD).Methods A total of 120 patients with malignant obstructive jaundice treated by PTCD were enrolled in this study.The patients were divided into the control group (n=60) and the observation group (n=60).Routine discharge guidance and health education was conducted for the patients of control group,while for the patients of observation group,in addition to conventional discharge education,the continuity nursing was executed by the responsible nurse.Continuity nursing was meant to continue the service,to guide the observation of the wound and dressing change,the observation of the quantity and quality of drainage solution,to teach the knowledge of the management of PTCD catheter as well as its complications,to guide patient's diet and rest,and to establish the continuity nursing records.Results The patients of both groups were followed up for 3 months.The patients' awareness rate of the knowledge related to PTCD tube in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group.The wound infection rate,the rate of PTCD tube prolapse or blockage,and the tube-related re-hospitalization rate in the observation group were strikingly lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion The continuity nursing model can significantly improve patients' awareness rate about the knowledge related to PTCD tube,reduce the incidences of biliary tract infection,PTCD tube prolapse or blockage,wound infection,and tube-related re-hospitalization,therefore,the quality of life can be surely improved.

Objective To investigate the effect of continuing nursing care on the patient′s survival quality ,medication compli-ance and exercise tolerance after mechanical heart valve replacement surgery in the patients with rheumatic heart disease .Methods The eligible patients were randomly divided into the experiment group and control group by adopting the random grouping method , 50 cases in each group .The control group received the routine nursing care .In addition to this ,the experiment group was given the continuing nursing care intervention .The intervention time lasted for 6 months .Results The various fields in the survival quality before discharge from hospital had no statistically significant difference between the two groups (P>0 .05) .Except for the enviro-ment score and family friction score after discharge ,the rest fields had statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0 .05) .There was no statistically significant difference in 6 min walk distance before discharge between the two groups (P>0 .05) ,while which at 6 months after discharge had statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0 .05) .The medi-cation compliance at 3 ,6 months after discharge had statistically significant differences between the two groups (P<0 .05) .Conclu-sion The continuous nursing care can improve the patient′s survival quality ,medication compliance and exercise tolerance ,and re-duces the occurrence of anticoagulation related complications .
