ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE To analyze the implementation of insulin centralized volume-based procurement policy （hereinafter referred to as “centralized procurement”） in our hospital and its effect on the use of insulin products in clinical. METHODS The manufacturer， specifications， usage， sales amount and agreed purchase volume of insulin products in our hospital before （July 4， 2021 to January 3， 2022） and after （July 4， 2022 to January 3， 2023） the centralized procurement were collected. The defined daily dose （DDD） method was used to calculate defined daily doses （DDDs）， defined daily cost （DDC）， the progress of procurement completion and actual cost saving. RESULTS After the centralized procurement， the number of insulin products had increased from 20 to 29 in our hospital； except for the Insulin degludec/aspart injection in our hospital’s original insulin catalog that had not been centrally purchased， all other existing varieties had been included in centralized procurement catalog. The use of Insulin aspart 30 injection produced by Novo Nordisk （China） Pharmaceutical Co.， Ltd. always ranked the first place in the list of usage and DDDs before and after the centralized procurement. The sales amount of Insulin glargine injection produced by Ganli Pharmaceutical Co.， Ltd. and Tonghua Dongbao Pharmaceutical Co.， Ltd. increased significantly due to the significant increase in usage. The centralized procurement of Degu insulin injection from Novo Nordisk （China） Pharmaceutical Co.， Ltd. had achieved a relatively high completion rate in our hospital’s original insulin catalog， while the completion rate for new varieties was low. After the centralized procurement， our hospital actually saved a total of 1 388 582.66 yuan in expenses. CONCLUSIONS After the centralized procurement， the selection and usage of insulin varieties in our hospital are reasonable， which saves patients’ insulin treatment costs， and reduces economic pressure on patients and society.
ABSTRACT
Objective:To investigate the current situation and trend of the utilization of antihypertensive drugs in Wuhan city. Methods:The utilization data including varieties,consumption sum and DDDs of antihypertensive drugs in 34 hospitals in Wuhan city from 2013 to 2015 were analyzed.Results:The annual consumption sum of antihypertensive drugs increased year by year,and the val-ue was 20 896.67,23 527.19 and 24 033.44 million yuan, respectively. The calcium-channel blockers (CCB), angiotensin Ⅱ re-ceptor antagonist (ARB),adrenergic receptor blockers and angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs) ranked the top four in consumption sum of antihypertensive drugs. Their constituent ratio was not changed during 2013 and 2015. The consumption amount and DDDs of new compound preparations increased. Top two drugs in terms of consumption amount and DDDs were amlodipine and le-vamlodipine. Conclusion:CCB,ARB,ACEI,adrenergic receptor blockers and diuretics occupy the predominant places among all the antihypertensive drugs in Wuhan city,which is accordance with the current treatment guideline of antihypertensive drugs.

Objective To study the status quo and tendency of the utilization of antibiotics in our hospital in order to provide ref-erence for clinical rational drug use .Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the consumption sum ,DDDs and defined daily cost(DDC) of antibiotics ,which taken from HIS system in drug storehouse from 2010 to 2013 .Results 2010~2013 ,the anti-microbial drug sales in proportion to the amount of drug sales were 35 .99% ,26 .47% ,14 .69% and 14 .52% respectively .Cephalo-sporins andβ-lactamase inhibitor have been in the forefront of the antimicrobial agents in the sales amount .The sales amount of Ce-foxitin sodium and Piperacillin/tazobactam has rapid grow th ,for three consecutive years of antimicrobial agents in the sales amount ordering frist and second .2010~2013 ,Cephalosporins and Macrolides antibiotics has been in the forefront on the sorting of DDDs . The DDDs of antifungal drugs increased year by year ,quinolones and nitroimidazoles was declining .The DDDs of Clarithromycin tablets ,Azithromycin enteric-coated capsules and Roxithromycin Capsules in the front row .2011-2013 ,the DDC of Cefuroxime in-creased the larger from 15 .37 to 68 .06 .Conclusion The antibacterial drug sales amount of drug sales amount is reduced year by year from 2010 to 2013 ,and the application of antimicrobial agents is given priority to Cephalosporins ,Antifungal drug sustained growth ,Macrolides antibiotics and Penicillins keep at a high level .

@#Objective To investigate the drug utilization of inpatients in neurological rehabilitation department in our hospital. Methods The statistics data of neurological rehabilitation treatment drugs in our hospital from 2008 to 2010 were statistically analyzed, including drug type, the amount of medication, defined daily doses (DDDs) and average defined daily cost (DDC). Results The amount of medication and DDDs increased year by year, the top 3 amount of sales drugs were neurological function and nootropics drugs, the top 3 for DDDs were the promotion of brain metabolism and nootropics drugs. Methylcobalamin tablets, nifedipine and aspirin enteric-coated tablet were in low DDC. Conclusion The use of drug in neurological rehabilitation department in our hospital was in line with the basic features of neuro-rehabilitation specialist.

OBJECTIVE:To analyze the clinical application and trend of psychotherapeutic agents in our hospital.METH-ODS:The application of psychotherapeutic agents in our hospital from 2004 to 2006 was analyzed statistically in respect of drug varieties,consumption sum,DDDs and defined daily cost etc.RESULTS:The consumption sum of antipsychotic agents showed a year-on-year upward trend over the 3 year(379,100 yuan,438,800 yuan and 694,100 yuan,respectively).However,the consumption sum of antidepressants showed a downward trend over the 3 years(444,800yuan,440,200yuan,and 335,800 yuan,respectively).The total consumption of the two(antipsychotic agents and antidepressants) made up over 90% in the total psych-otherapeutic agents.CONCLUSION:Of the total consumption sum of psychotherapeutic agents,antipsychotic agents and antidepressants have made their way into the lead,of which,paroxetine,risperidone and olanzapine showing highest percentages.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the utilization situation and tendency of antihypertensive drugs in our hospital during the period 2004～ 2005.METHODS:The consumption sum,DDDs and the defined daily cost of antihypertensives during 2004～ 2005 were analyzed statistically.RESULTS:The consumption sum of antihypertensive drugs increased year on year,dominating the first 4 places were calcium antagonists,ACEI,angiotensin receptor antagonists and ? adrenoceptor antagonists.Dominating the first 10 places in terms of consumption sum were chiefly newly marketed,expensive but safe and effective varieties.Leading the top 15 places in terms of DDDs were those drugs that proved to be of confirmed efficacy and lower prices.CONCLUSION:The utilization of antihypertensive drugs in our hospital is basically in line with the general utilization condition home and abroad,and it is up to the current medication principle of antihypertensive drugs
