ABSTRACT

@#Abstract:Objective To analyse the level of measles antibody and serological susceptibility of the enterprise employees in Jin⁃ shan District,Shanghai in 2019,to provide references for measles prevention and control of enterprise employees. Methods A total of 1 796 employees were selected from 6 enterprises in Jinshan District by using a stratified random sampling method,of which serum samples from intravenous blood were collected and determined for IgG antibody level of measles by ELISA. Geo⁃ metric mean concentration(GMC)of measles IgG antibody, antibody positive rate and antibody protection rate were calculated and the susceptibility factors of measles in enterprise employees were analyzed by using the unconditional multivariate Logistic regression model. Results The GMC of measles antibody in 1 796 monitoring objects was 639. 71 mIU/mL,the positive rate was 87. 58% and the protection rate was 29. 06%. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the odds ratio(OR)of measles susceptibility was 1. 55(95% CI:1. 14 ~ 2. 12)in native subjects compared with non⁃resident subjects, while 2. 35 (95% CI:1. 35 ~ 4. 08)in subjects aged 40 ~ 49 years compared with those aged ≥ 50 years. Conclusion In 2019,the measles antibody level of enterprise employees in Jinshan District of Shanghai was low,and people aged 40 ~ 49,especially the nativeadults, wereathighriskofsusceptibilitytomeasles. Supplementaryimmunizationwithmeaslesvaccineshouldbecarried out for high⁃risk enterprise employees to reduce the risk of measles infection and control the epidemic situation of measles.

ABSTRACT

Objectives: To investigate the prevalence of ideal cardiovascular health behaviors and factors, and its association with socioeconomic status (SES) in enterprise employees. Methods: The cluster sampling method was adopted to recruit 27 607 employees aged 18 to 60 years from 45 enterprises across China. The ideal cardiovascular health metrics including behaviors and factors, which were defined according to the AHA criteria, were obtained, and SES was measured by education and occupational class. Multilevel logistic regression models were used to analyze the association between SES and ideal cardiovascular health metrics. Results: Overall, the prevalence of ideal cardiovascular health behavior (smoking, body mass index, salt intake, physical activity) was 51.3%, 67.9%, 14.0%, 31.2%, respectively; prevalence of the ideal cardiovascular factors (fasting blood glucose, total cholesterol, blood pressure) was 72.9%, 81.6%, 27.3%,respectively in this cohort. Among the employees, only 0.6% population met all 7 cardiovascular health metrics. After adjusting the individual and workplace factors, employees with high school (OR=1.18, 95%CI: 1.08-1.29) and college or above education (OR=1.52, 95%CI: 1.37-1.69) were more likely to have ideal cardiovascular health status compared with those with less education; white-collar workers were more likely to have ideal cardiovascular health status compared with blue-collar workers (OR=1.18; 95%CI: 1.08-1.29). Conclusions: The prevalence of ideal cardiovascular health behaviors and factors is low, and is positively associated with SES, suggesting the importance of promoting the cardiovascular health behavior, monitoring/controlling the related cardiovascular factors and reducing the socioeconomic inequalities among Chinese enterprise employees.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore health literacy and the related factors among enterprise employees in Minhang District of Shanghai, and to provide scientific basis for the development of health literacy promotion strategies for occupational population. Methods Through cluster random sampling,15 manufacturing enterprises of Minhang District were selected. The information of health-supportive environment in the workplace was collected through field observation. And the general demographic characteristics, occupational characteristics, health literacy and self-efficacy of the subjects were collected through the survey. Results Only about 28.36% of the 1 421 employees surveyed possessed basic health literacy.Education level, marital status, working nature and payment pressure were the factors affecting the health literacy level of respondents.Compared with the employees who had at least a bachelor degree, the health literacy level of the employees who had a lower degree of bachelor was relatively low (P<0.05).The health literacy level of employees in non-marital status was relatively lower than those who were married (OR =1.515,P =0.021).Compared with the managers, the health literacy levels of clericals, production operators and logistical service personnel were low (P <0.05).Employees who had the pressure to pay possessed a low level of health literacy (OR =1.641,P<0.001).Conclusions The health literacy level of employees in this region was better than the average level of Chinese citizen, but it was still not optimistic. The health literacy level of enterprise employees was affected by many factors, and these factors were closely related.Improving the health supportive environment in the workplace may be an effective strategy for promoting health literacy among occupational populations.

ABSTRACT

Objective To understand the related situations of employee's emotional management ability and work ability. Methods 180 employees from an automobile manufacturing company in Hefei were selected and surveyed. Results The mean score of employee's emotional management was 102.50. Mean score of employees work ability was 39.64, of all the work ability index, the physical and mental ability to work got the highest score; the work ability index about the psychological state of work and life was lower. Employee's emotion management ability and work ability was not significantly different between different genders. Conclusions There is significant correlation between employee's emotion management and work ability.
