ABSTRACT
In order to agree on the choice of antiepileptic drugs (FAEs) at the numerous epileptic syndromes and Epilepsies in children and young people, taking into account the multiple possibilities of choice of the pharmacopoeia of antiepileptic drugs in our country is the 2011 a guide to consensus. Subsequent to this consensus, which was published and distributed among the participants, held a brief survey, in order to appreciate its usefulness and use among specialists. The aim of this paper is to analyze the results of this survey, to measure the use and utility of FAEs consensus among specialists. The analysis reveals that the majority of professionals dedicated to epilepsy, consider a consensus an useful tool for the management and treatment of epileptic syndromes.Keys words: antiepileptic drugs, survey, epilepsy, epileptic guidelines.
Con el propósito de consensuar la elección de fármacos antiepilépticos (FAEs) en los numerosos Síndromes Epilépticos y Epilepsias en niños y jóvenes, teniendo en cuenta las múltiples posibilidades de elección de la farmacopea de antiepilépticos en nuestro país se realiza el 2011 una guía de consenso. Posterior a este consenso, que se publicó y se distribuyó entre los participantes, se realizó una breve encuesta, con el propósito de apreciar su utilidad y uso entre los especialistas. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar los resultados de esta encuesta, para dimensionar el uso y la utilidad de un consenso de FAEs entre los specialistas. El análisis revela que la mayoría de los profesionales del área infanto-juvenil que se dedica a epilepsia, les es útil la publicación de un consenso entre sus pares, para el manejo y tratamiento de los síndromes epilépticos.
