ABSTRACT

Objective@#To investigate the effect of nursing intervention on the incidence of agitation and negative emotion in patients undergoing general anesthesia recovery.@*Methods@#Totally 120 patients with general anesthesia admitted to the Binzhou Central Hospital, Shandong Province from January 2017 to January 2019 were divided into the control group and the observation group by random digits table method with 60 cases each. Those in the control group was given routine nursing, the observation group was given integrated care. The incidence rate of agitation, conscious recovery time, the time of wake-up score≥4 and negative emotional changes in the two groups were compared.@*Results@#The incidence of agitation in the observation group was 6.67% (4/60), which was lower than that in the control group (25.0%, 15/60). The difference was statistically significant (χ2 value was 6.253, P<0.05). The conscious recovery time, the time of wake-up score≥4 was (1.05±0.39), (16.34±1.21) h, both were shorter than the control group (2.68±0.42), (23.12±1.03) h, the difference was statistically significant (t value was 22.029, 33.050, P<0.01). The Kessler10 score of the observation group was 30.24±3.64,which was lower than that in the control group 24.84±2.35. The difference was statistically significant (t value was 9.654, P<0.01).@*Conclusions@#The operation room nursing intervention for patients with general anesthesia recovery can reduce the occurrence of agitation and reduce the negative emotion of patients, and the application effect is remarkable.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To observe the effects of dexmedetomidine hydrochloride on extubation stress response in elderly pa-tients during general anesthesia recovery period. METHODS:80 patients underwent general anesthesia of abdominal surgery were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 40 cases in each group. Both groups received routine anesthesia before surgery and during surgery. 10 min before the end of surgery, observation group was given intravenous pump of dexmedeto-midine hydrochloride diluted to 10 ml 0.5 μg/kg,and control group was given constant volume of 10 ml 0.9% Sodium chloride so-lution. HR,MAP and SaO2 levels of 2 groups were compared before the induction of anesthesia (T0),at the moment of intrave-nous injection of dexmedetomidine hydrochloride or 0.9%Sodium chloride solution(T1),at the moment immediately before extuba-tion(T2),at the moment of extubation(T3),1 min after extubation(T4),5 min after extubation(T5)and 10 min after extubation (T6). Ramsay sedation score of 2 groups were compared at T0,T2,T4,T5 and T6;cough score, restlessness score, awake time(t1) and extubation time(t2)were also compared between 2 groups. RESULTS:Compared with at T0,the fluctuation of HR and MAR in 2 groups decreased significantly and became stable gradually at T4,T5 and T6,and HR and MAP of observation group at T1-T6 were significartly lower than those of control group, with statistical significance(P0.05). There was statistical significance in Ramsay sedation score between 2 groups at T2,T4,T5 and T6 (P<0.05). The cough score and restlessness score of observation group were significantly lower than those of control group, and t1 and t2 were significantly shorter than those of control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Dexmedetomidine hydro-chloride can relieve extubation stress reaction in elderly patients during general anesthesia recovery period with good safety.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the influence of sole massage on children’s analepsia from general anesthesia. Methods One hundred children in analepsia period were divided into the test group(50 cases)and the control group(50 cases). The routine nursing and monitoring during recovery stage were done in the control group.Based on the routine monitoring and nursing care as in the control group, the test group received sole massage for 10 minutes. The two groups were compared in terms of declining percentage of SpO2, rate of nausea, blood pressure,heart-rate variability, and post-analepsia dysphoria scores.Result The test group was significantly lower than the control one in all the indexes of the declining percentage of SpO2,rate of nausea, blood pressure,heart-rate variability, and post-analepsia dysphoria scores(all P<0.05).Conclusions Sole massage during children’s analepsia from general anesthesia is effective not only in lessening their declining percentage of SpO2,rate of nausea, blood pressure,heart-rate variability, and recovery dysphoria mark, but also easing their dysphoria, anxiety and fear.It may create a good condition for children to live through analepsia period successfully and safely.
