ABSTRACT
Who can speak on the couch? How does the inscription of the subject and the subject of the unconscious in class, gender, sexuality, race, age and validity social power relations limit access to a psychoanalytical elaboration? The recognition of coloniality as an effect of domination and a locus of enunciation that persists beyond colonisation has made it possible for new subjective, cultural and epistemic forms to emerge, encouraging psychoanalysis to listen differently. This article looks at the impact of race and whiteness on psychoanalysis through the perspective of the Standpoint Epistemologies and the Epistemology of Ignorance. In the French social context, while a growing part of the French population experiences racial discrimination on a daily basis, it is vehemently denied by a majority of politicians and researchers, who refuse to even use the word "race". Starting from this official denial of systemic racism by the political establishment and a majority of academic studies, the article seeks to analyse the epistemology of ignorance that prevails in the clinical and theoretical stance of a majoritian psychoanalysis. The aim is to study the way in which white ignorance causes race issues to be non-listened to on the couch produces silencing transferential effects, and denies particular experiences in the name of universalism.

Introduction: Professional indemnity (PI) or medical malpractice insurance (MMI) has been a hot topic considering the increasing number of medical negligence cases rising worldwide. However, there is a palpable difference in understanding and usage of this tool in developed countries and regions such as India. Aim: This study aimed to analyze the general understanding of resident doctors and consultants about MMI and knowledge about its technical jargon. Materials and Methods: We distributed short Google Form questionnaires about various aspects of MMI. We recorded the data from 141 resident doctors and 42 consultants in the Navi Mumbai area of India. As it was a survey, we required no ethical review. Results: As consultants’ experience grew, so did their understanding of medical indemnity. Approximately 90%, 64%, and 22% of consultants with 10 years, 5–10 years, and 5 years of experience had acquired PI. The AOY:AOT (any one year:anyone time) ratio was known to just 35% of these specialists. About half of the resident doctors were aware of PI and the effects of medical specialization on PI. Around a fifth of the individuals had only acquired the PI. Conclusion: There needs to be more clarity between the need and knowledge of MMI in India. This needs to be addressed by teaching medical postgraduates about it during training. “There should be special emphasis on medical indemnity in terms of its need, clauses, and cost during postgraduate medical training.”
ABSTRACT
Since the 90's, the literature presents different institutional concerns about the conversion of individual knowledge into social knowledge and in this context use knowledge and experience to create an organizational knowledge. Organizational knowledge has another face, linked to the unknown, which is organizational ignorance. In this paper the appearance of the concept of ignorance and its role in organizations is presented. The evolution of this concept is analyzed and the need of its management is discussed. Different approaches obtained from the international literature are presented highlighting the role of information and of informational competences in ignorance management. Some experiences related to knowledge audits are mentioned, where the presence of ignorance has become evident without deepening these manifestations. Emphasis is placed on the need to handle more information as part of organizational routines, in order to identify and solve knowledge gaps and gradually face organizational ignorance(AU)

Introduction: Onchocerciasis is a communicable parasitic disease caused by a nematode; Onchocerca volvulus and vectored by female Simulium blackfly. The disease is common among poor rural dwellers where it causes various degrees of skin and eye infections. Objectives: To evaluate the knowledge, attitude and perception of onchocerciasis and its treatment with ivermectin Methods: The study was undertaken in Idogun, an endemic community in Ose local government area, Ondo State. Structured questionnaire was administered to 384 respondents during personal interview and focus group discussion to obtain useful epidemiological information, while skin snip test was employed to determine the prevalence of the disease among the 384 respondents not below 10 years of age that were randomly selected for the study. Chi-square at 5% significance level was used to establish the significance of various parameters tested in the study. Results: The results revealed that 235 (61.2%) were ignorant of the disease while 149 (38.8%) respondents had adequate knowledge of the cause and mode of transmission of the disease. Meanwhile, skin snip test showed that the disease occurred more among the ignorant (22.9%) than the knowledgeable (5.2%). Ignorance of disease was further reflected in the response of the respondents to the cause and mode of infection. Most ignorant individuals in the community believed the disease can be contracted through sexual intercourse (4.6%), stepping on charms (3.9%), inherited from infected parents (6.3%), ageing (13.3%), lack of personal hygiene (7%) and too much farming (40.4%). Whereas, 15.6% of the study population had no idea of the cause and mode of the disease. The study further revealed that 24.7% of the respondents showed various side effects to the drug such as itching, rashes swelling wrinkles, dizziness and weakness. The side effects of the drug were observed to be more among the infected individuals (20.8%) than the uninfected individuals (3.9%). Conclusion: The study suggests that there is need for intensive public enlightment in the community to properly educate the community about the cause and mode of the disease.

This article aims to inquire up to which point a CAPS (Psychosocial Attention Center) may operate as an institution crossed by psychoanalysis. After a brief historical on the origins of the "CAPS" and its relation with the Brazilian psychiatric reform, the authors describe the operation of the CAPSi Dom Adriano Hipólito as well as the treatment of a teenager forwarded by a municipal hospital. In the sequence, they approach the concept of "analyst's wish", the differences between it, the freudian Wunsch and the pure death wish in Antigone, including its characteristics of adverted, impure, empty of objects wish, producer of difference between the significant and the significance. Finally, the authors mention the importance of the "learned ignorance" for the analytical practice and they return to the relationship between psychoanalysis and psychosocial attention to argue that the analyst's discourse is not necessarily antinomian to the ideology of the CAPS.

Anthropophilic Culicoides were investigated in a rural community endemic for Mansonella perstans in Ijebu North area of western Nigeria between December 2003 and October 2004. Three hundred and fifty-nine adults of Culicoides fulvithorax collected by human bait in the morning were dissected for Mansonella perstans larvae, and 1.95% of infection rate was found. Seasonal abundance of C. fulvithorax was investigated by monthly biting rates, and showed that higher prevalence was observed in rainy season, with peak in September. Culicoides prevalence was positively correlated with rainfall and relative humidity, but not temperature. Human perceptions on the behavior of these biting midges were determined by interviewing 854 self-selected villagers, of which 86.5% of the interviewees confessed having experienced Culicoides bites. Between 76.5 and 99.1% of the various age groups complained body reactions to Culicoides bites. Itching was the most frequent body reaction. No interviewees associated Culicoides with transmission of any parasitic infections. The results showed need to adequately control Culicoides in the community.

The history of man is the history of his passions. Love, lies and hate are constituent elements of the relationship forms of the human being. It is the desire and the particular way of wishing that makes the subject establish a link with reality. In psychoanalytic terms it is the drive invested in passion that subjects the subject to the world or in philosophical terms the soul is made of passions and these lead man to debate between pleasure and grief.

Returning to its commonweal feature and enhancing impartiality are the focal purposes of Chinese new healthcare reform in the near future.Rawl's theory of justice could explain the past difficulties and indicate the intending complications in the forthcoming innovation. We can see the selfishness of human nature from Rawl's Veil of Ignorance.People's greed will bring about such deadweight to national finance that the goal of the reform has to be inclined to efficiency, which forms again a seasonal movement.
