ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Fuyankang combined with azithromycin in the treat-ment of pelvic inflammatory disease. METHODS:90 patients with pelvic inflammatory disease were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 45 cases in each group. Control group was given Lactose acid azithromycin for injec-tion 500 mg,ivgtt,qd,and then Azithromycin capsule 250 mg,po,qd;observation group was additionally given Fuyankang Tab-let 1.56 g,tid,on the basis of control group. A treatment course of 2 groups lasted for 7 d,and both received 3 courses of treat-ment. Clinical efficacies of 2 groups were observed as well as the level of CRP,IL-2 and life quality score before and after treat-ment,and the occurrence of ADR was compared between 2 groups. RESULTS:Total effective rate of observation group was 97.78%,which was significantly higher than that of control group (86.67%),with statistical significance (P<0.05). The level of CRP,IL-2 and life quality score of 2 groups were improved significantly after treatment, and the observation group was more better than the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). No obvious ADR was found in 2 groups during treatment. CONCLUSIONS:Fuyankang combined with Azithromycin is effective for pelvic inflammatory disease, and can improve the quali-ty of life, reduce inflammation cytokines infiltration and the generation of inflammatory medium with good safety.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the clinical efficacy of integrated treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and west-ern medicine for subacute thyroiditis. METHODS:98 patients with subacute thyroiditis were randomly divided into control group and observation group by random number table with 49 patients in each group. Control group was given conventional oral treat-ment of prednisone tablets, and observation group was additionally treated with Chinese patent medicine(Shuanghuanglian oral so-lution+Antiviral oral solution+Tripterygium glycosides tablet)on the basis of control group. A treatment course lasted for 4 weeks, and both groups received 2 courses of treatment. Therapeutic efficacy, symptom and sign improvement time, total treatment course, recurrence rate and ADR were observed and compared between 2 groups. RESULTS:the total effective rate of observation group was 100%,significantly better than the control group 79.59%,and there were significant differences(P<0.01). The defer-vescence time, thyroid pain recovery time, thyroid swelling fadeaway and total treatment course of observation group was shorter than those of control group, with statistical significance(P<0.01). Following up 2 months after drug withdrawal, the recurrence rate of observation group was 6.12%,which was significantly lower than that of control group(22.45%),with statistical signifi-cance (P<0.05). Small number of ADR occurred in 2 groups. CONCLUSIONS:The integrated treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine for subacute thyroiditis can control the symptom rapidly, reduce the possibility of palindromia and reduce ADR.

ABSTRACT

@#Objective To explore the effect of enhanced physical therapy with integrated traditional and western medicine on muscularweakness after selective posterior rhizotomy. Methods 44 children with muscular weakness after selective posterior rhizotomy were dividedinto the treatment group (n=28) and the control group (n=16). Exercise therapy, physical therapy, electroacupuncture and Chinese massagewere applied to the treatment group, while exercise therapy was applied to the control group only. The muscle strength of the leg of childrenwere compared right after the surgery and 2 weeks after the surgery. Results The muscle strength of the leg of children in treatment group recoveredbetter than the control group 2 weeks after the surgery (P<0.05), and it was almost at the same level with that before surgery (P<0.05). Conclusion The enhanced physical therapy with integrated traditional and western medicine method could rapidly recover the musclestrength of the leg of children after SPR.

Results In the experiment group, 8 cases got outstanding effects(11.1%), 50 cases got improvement(69.4%), and 14 cases got no effect (19.4%), with a total effective rate of 80.6%. In the control group, 0 cases got significant effect, 24 cases got improvement(33.3%), and 48 cases got no effect(66.7%), with a total effective rate of 33.3%. There was significant difference in total effective rate between the two groups (P<0.05), that the total effective rate of the experiment group was significantly higher than that of the control group.
