ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the status of clinical laboratory construction in China and evaluate its completeness,adequacy and effectiveness.Methods An electronic investigation on laboratory construction was conducted in March 2019.The questionnaires were synchronously distributed to 14 055 laboratories covering 31 provincial administrative units in China.Excel 2010 and SPSS 20 were used for analysis of four main indicators:gross area,total equipment value,human resource,and testing items.Descriptive statistics were demonstrated and comparisons of the indicators among different types of laboratories were checked with the Kruskal-Wallis test.Results A total of 9 966 valid questionnaires were returned,with an effective recovery of 70.9%.The overall median of the four indicators were respectively:gross area(344.5 square meters),total equipment value (RMB 4.15 million),staff number(12) and testing item number(160).The difference of all four indicators among various types of laboratories was significant (P < 0.05).Conclusions The construction of laboratories in primary hospitals and private hospitals is not satisfying,especially the equipment and human resource.More attention on the awareness to improve clinical laboratory construction for further quality improvement and patient safety is needed.

ABSTRACT

The establishment of the National Clinical Research Base of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is very helpful for TCM research. The construction of a Chinese medicine research laboratory is an important part of the National Clinical Research Base of TCM. In this paper, researches on Chinese medicine laboratory construc-tion were discussed. It was combined with the actual construction of research laboratories of our hospital. This ar-ticle also discussed the geographical features and clinical needs of the National Clinical Research Base of TCM construction. Ideas of laboratory plan, open laboratory and experimental shared services platform construction were put forward in advance .

ABSTRACT

During the reform of scientific research system the financial and the material resources were centralized and the central laboratory was constructed in cardiovascular Institute & Fu Wai Hospital.The biosafety was implemented thoroughly in this construction process.The brand-new concept war established and the strict rules were formulated through comprehensively study and repeatedly practice.In the meantime,the advanced management and the operation mode were established.A new biosafety lab was constructed under these conditions.

ABSTRACT

Objective To discuss the experimental equipment management of the digital microscope mutual laboratory, and improve the qualities and levels of the experimental teaching in medical colleges. Methods On the basis of the core thoughts and basic framework of quality management for teaching equipment in universities, the principles and approaches of TQC were applied to quality management for experimental teaching equipment. Results Some management measures and rules were proposed. A serial of reasonable and effective performing system and management system were constructed. Conclusion The experimental teaching equipment management of the digital microscope mutual laboratory greatly advances the standard, scientific and informational process of the management work for the experimental teaching, and provides the powerful assurance for the experimental teaching quality of medical colleges.
