ABSTRACT
Objective To explore the influence of Multi-slice spiral CT combined with plasma carbohydrate antigen 199 (CA199) ,carbohydrate antigen 242 (CA242) ,carbohydrate antigen 50 (CA50) levels detection on diagnostic accuracy of pancreatic cancer .Methods 77 cases of patients with pancreatic lesion treated in our hospital were studied ,and all were confirmed by surgery ,there were 48 cases of pancreatic carcinoma ,29 cases of pancreatic benign diseases .All the patients were undergoing CT testing .Plasma CA199 ,CA50 and CA242 levels were detected by using Radioimmunoassay method ,and plasma CA199 ,CA50 ,CA242 levels ,CT test re-sults ,and the efficacy of single test diagnosis were contrasted .Results After CT diagnosis ,there were 8 cases positive in the benign group ,39 cases positive in the pancreatic cancer group ,with the overall positive rate of 61 .04%,and the coincidence rate was 77 .92% when compared with the operation and pathological results . Plasma CA199 ,CA50 and CA242 in the pancreatic cancer group were higher than those in the benign group , the difference was statistically significant (P＜0 .05) .Surgical pathological diagnosis was as the gold stand-ard ,the coincidence rate of CA199 was 75 .32% in the highest ,and the coincidence rate of CA242 was 45 .75%in the lowest .Compared with those in the single plasma CA199 ,CA50 ,CA242 detection ,the accuracy and sen-sitivity of combined diagnosis ,and missed diagnosis rate decreased ,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0 .05) .Those were slightly higher than those of CT detection ,but without statistically significant differ-ence (P＞0 .05) .There was no significant difference in specificity and misdiagnosis rate among different diag- nostic ways (P＞0 .05) .Conclusion The accuracy and sensitivity of multi-slice spiral CT is higher in diagnosis of pancreatic cancer ,but combined detection of plasma CA199 ,CA50 and CA242 can further improve diagnosis efficiency ,and provide a reference for clinical treatment of pancreatic cancer .

[Objective]To explore a new technique of prefabricating internal plate.[Method]Three-dimensional reconstruction of the well-liking shinbone was performed by MSCT scanning and the length and shape of the catagmatic shinbone for operation was measured on well-liking shinbone.The shinbone curve was depicted using a self-designed skeletal curve-depicting.Then shape of the material for internal fixation was determined.[Result]The length and shape of the shinbone curve was accurately measured.The physiological curve of the shinbone was depicted.Then shape of the material for internal fixation was determined.[Conclusion]Three-dimensional well-liking shinbone reconstruction with MSCT and measurement facilitates the determination of the optimal length and shape of the internal fixation material to enhance the attachment between the material and the bone surface and consequently the therapeutic effects.One case's length and shape of internal fixation was dissatisfactory for hyperplasia of bone.But the length and shape of internal fixation has basal shape.

Objective To discuss the application values of image reconstructive technique in 16-slice helical CT scanning. Methods 32 cervical spinal cord lesion images which have processed in MPR, MIP and VR were reviewed to discover the best image reconstructive form. Results By grading, reconstruction score of MPR, MIP and VR was 4.75, 1.75 and 4.5, MPR and VR in top. Conclusion 16-slice CT scanning with MPR and VR image reconstructive of cervical spinal cord can be satisfied the clinical demands.

Objective To study the value of CT perfusion in differential diagnosis of local recur and local radiofibrosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC) at pre-and post-radiotherapy.Methods Dynamic CT scan was performed in 71 objectives: 14 in local recur group,22 in radiofibrosis group,15 in pre-radiotherapy NPC group and 20 in control group,the time-density curve(TDC) and the data of perfusion parameters were recorded and analyzed statistically.Results The TDC feature between local recur group,pre-radiotherapy NPC group and radiofibrosis group,control group had difference.The average of blood flow(BF) had significant differences by two by two comparison in four groups(P
ABSTRACT
Objective To evaluate the methodology and the clinical usefulness of multi-slice helical CT virtual endoscopy(MSCTVE).Methods Twenty-six cases by suspected colorectal carcinoma underwent multi-slice helical CT virtual endoscopy after colon was cleaned and insufflated with air.The parameters were used:120 kV,250 mA,pitch 6,reconstructure thickness 2.5 mm,interval 1.0.All data sets were transferred to ADV 3.1 workstation,CTVE reconstruction were done with Navigator and used CTVE to view colorectal and rectum carcinoma.Of 26 cases,16 cases were proved by colonoscopy and 22 cases by operation.Results 14 cases carcinoma in rectum,8 cases in sigmoidcolon,1 case involved both rectum and sigmoidocolon.MSCTVE results were similar to colonography.Conclusion Multi-slice helical CT virtual endoscopy has clinical usefulness for detecting colorectal and rectum carcinoma as it is non-invasive,safe,feasible.MSCTVE is a supplement to colonoscopy especial in incomplete colonoscopy.

Objective To assess the quality of coronal multi-planar reconstructed versus direct coronal scan images and to confirm whether the multiplanar reconstructed image can replace coronal scan.Methods One hundred and sixteen patients with orbital and paranasalsinuses disease were examined with GE Lightspeed plus 4 slices helical CT.All patients had transvers scan,and the coronal multiplannarreconstructed images were reformatted basis on transverse scan.All reformatted and scanned images were evaluated by the senior radiologists.Results In 116 cases,simultaneously multiplanar reconstructed images were performed in 60 cases,the quality of reformatted coronal imageswas similar to direct coronal scan in revealing normal anatomy and lesions of orbit and paranasal sinuses,all images were excellent andimaging quality was grade Ⅰ.54 cases couldn't be undergone direct coronal scan but reformatted coronal images also acquired the effect of diagnosis(32 cases were grade Ⅰ and 3 cases were grade Ⅱ on quality).Conclusion Direct coronal scan can be substitued by multiplanar reconstruction of multi-slice helical CT scan for orbit and paranasal sinuses.

Objective To discuss the clinical significance of anomalous origination of right gastric artery in interventional treatment for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods The dynamic enhanced CT scanning of the liver with a 64-slice spiral CT unit was performed in 72 HCC patients.In arterial phase,maximum intensity projection(MIP) and volume reconstruction technique(VRT) were used to observe the origin of the right gastric artery and its relationship with the hepatic artery.The findings were compared with the angiographic results.Results Of the total 72 cases,the anomalous origin of the right gastric artery was found in 43(59.8%).The anomalous origins of the right gastric artery included proper hepatic artery(n=19),left hepatic artery(n=17),gastroduodenal artery(n=4),right hepatic artery(n=2) and common hepatic artery(n=1).The results obtained from three-dimensional reconstruction were in good accordance with angiographic findings.Conclusion The anomalously originated right gastric artery most commonly originates from the left hepatic artery.Three-dimensional reconstruction obtained from the 64-slice spiral CT scans can provide the clear and reliable images of the right gastric artery,which is very helpful for the interventional procedure.

Objective To compare MSCT with routing X-ray, CT and appraise their applications to fractures in forensic identification. Methods366 cases which had got routing X-ray or CT examination were examined by thin slice scanning with MSCT and all of the data were processed with MPR, see-through and SSD method. Accurate diagnosis rate and misdiagnosis & underdiagnosis rate were calculated and analyzed by Chi-square test. ResultsThe accurate diagnosis rates of MSCT in nasal fracture, rib fracture, limb or joint fracture, orbital fracture and cranial fracture were higher than that of X-ray or routing CT (P0.05). ABSTRACT
In order to verify the dependability of 3D data, twenty-four temporal bones of adult head specimen fixed with formaldehyde were scanned by multi-slice helical CT. The technique of shade surface display and volume rendering were used in reconstruction. The 3D data of the surface structure of temporal bone were compared with anatomical specimens. The result showed that the new type CT has more rapid speed in 3D reconstruction and clearer imaging. The technique of shade surface display and volume rendering can give very clear structure of temporal bone. The 3D data makes no difference with anatomical measurement (no statistic difference). It is suggested that the 3d data can instruct the clinic directly.
