ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the influence of a new marine preparation(Haishengsu) isolated from Tegillarca granosa on NSCLC patients after chemotherapy.Methods Eighty-three patients with NSCLC were randomly divided into two groups.Forty-two patients,in the treatment group were received the injection 2.4mg+0.9%NaCl 250mL,iv.drip from 1 to 15 days while they were received the routine chemotherapy of MVP.Forty-one patients in the control group were received only the chemotherapy of MVP.Twenty-eight days were considered as one treatment cycle and each patient was received two or more consecutive treatment cycles respectively.Results The gastrointestinal tract reactions in treatment group were alleviated obviously with increased food-intake and body weight gain.Moreover the KPS value and the curative effect in treatment group were higher than those in control group.Conclusion Treatment of Haishengsu injection plus MVP chemotherapy improves the curative effect and life quality of the NSCLC patients without marked adverse effects.
