ABSTRACT

The accelerometry(AMG) muscle relaxant monitor is the most widely used quantitative muscle relaxant monitor to assess the degree of neuromuscular at present. In this study, the ulnar nerve was stimulated by using train of four stimulation(TOF) mode of the AMG muscle relaxant monitor, and the movement of the adductor pollicis muscle was monitored. In this way, the distribution range of key parameters (acceleration peak value, response time, and TOF ratio) of the adductor pollicis muscle during the use of muscle relaxant in clinical practice is analyzed and will provide a practical basis for the development and improvement of the muscle relaxant monitor.

ABSTRACT

Purpose: This study is to investigate the influence of acupuncture at acupoints Neiguan (PC 6) and Ximen (PC 4) on the stroke volume and the flow rate of peak value of left ventricle ejection in the patients with coronary heart disease. Methods: 60 cases of coronary heart disease were divided into acupoint Neiguan (PC 6) group and acupoint Ximen (PC 4) group, and the stroke volume and the flow rate of peak value of left ventricle ejection were detected 3 min after manipulating needles and 20 min after retaining needles respectively, then were compared with those before acupuncture. Results: 3 min after manipulating needles, the stroke volume and the flow rate of peak value of left ventricle ejection were enhanced in 46 cases, and 20 min after retaining needles, both the stroke volume and the flow rate of peak value of left ventricle ejection were all enhanced in 34 cases. Conclusion: Puncturing acupoints Neiguan (PC 6) and Ximen (PC 4) could enhance the contractility of left ventricle wall, increase the stroke volume of the heart and improve the myocardial ischemia in the patients with coronary heart disease

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the relationship between the peak value of contrast media reaching abdominal aorta andpatients’ factors. Methods Ominpaque 300 mgI/ml 20 ml was injected at a rate of 2.5 ml/s in 108 patients and after 12 s was tracked by test bolus in the abdominal aorta at the level of celiac trunk, then the peak value in the abdominal aorta was achieved by the software dynamic evaluation. Regression analysis and stepwise regression analysis were used to study how the peak value of contrast media reaching abdominal aorta influenced by the patients’ factors including patients’ gender, age, height, weight, heart rate, blood pressure, injection site, peak time, and whether being with heart disease , diabetes mellitus or chemo . Results The peak value of contrast media reaching abdominal aorta was lower in male than that in female averagely, decreased gradually as the patients’ height, weight and peak time increased. The peak value of the injection site in the vein of hand back was lower than that of the cubitus generally and it was not influenced by the patients’ heart rate, blood pressure or whether being with heart disease, diabetes mellitus or chemo. Recommended formula of peak value(HU)=383.8400-Height(cm)?1.0909-Weight(kg)?0.6760+injection site?16.7878-peak time(s)?1.6882.Conclusion The volume of contrast media used in patients needing exam of CT angiography can be adjusted according to the patients’ age, gender, height, weight, injection site and peak time.

ABSTRACT

Since the body is a good conductor, the pacing signals and cardio-signals can be acquired together by ECG measuring circuit. The high pacing signals interfere with the processing of cardio-signal. This paper introduces a new method for restraining pacing signals and compares it with the traditional one based on slew inhibition. The result indicates that the new method is superior to the traditional one.
