ABSTRACT

Objective To explore hospital medical data so as to decrease the cost for medical information and construction while increase the efficiency of information system. Methods Hospital medical data were classified, and kinds of data layering technologies were applied to constructing the data center,and overall considerations and hierarchical arrangement were executed for types of medical data.The high efficiencies and high feasibility of business systems were realized to ensure data security. Results Classified and hierarchical storage technology enhanced business response and reliability with the same hardware infrastructure.Conclusion Types of technologies have to be combined according to the characteristics of the business system and its data so as to implement high-efficiency and-reliability storage of hospital medical data.

ABSTRACT

Objective To design a private cloud storage system to guarantee intranet and internet data security and realize data sharing between multi platforms.Methods The idea and solution for building the system were proposed by analyzing the difficulty during hospital informatization.The infrastructure based on the idle computing resources in the existing virtual pool and the application platform by private cloud storage software were involved in the development of the system,and related software and hardware were integrated after adjustment and customization,and then the system came into being with easy operation and high performance-cost ratio.Results The system developed realized freely data storage and sharing,and implemented file encryption to control the applied range.Conclusion The system has the functions of malicious code scanning,cooperative office system and data auto-backup,synchronization,transmission,sharing and etc,which executes intranet and intemet data sharing based on physical isolation.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To introduce the experience on how to build modern pharmaceutical logistics and dispensing system in outpatient pharmacy,and to provide reference for the construction of modern outpatient pharmacy. METHODS:The pharmaceuti-cal logistics system could be constructed by setting up secondary warehouse,pharmaceutical supply chain management system (PSCMS) and electronic drug storage system (EDSS);pharmaceutical dispensing system could be constructed through allocating automatic drug dispensing machine with different functions reasonably to carry out dispensing way of different modes combination, building automated pharmacy management system and developing emergency plan for the system fault of the automated pharmacy. The effects of logistics and dispensing system in our hospital were evaluated through comparing related index before and after the application of the systems. RESULTS:With the aid of PSCMS,the drug purchase information could be collected and calculated au-tomatically,the frequency and working time of the purchase were reduced by 50% and 75% respectively,and the accuracy of the purchase plan was increased by 12.5%;with the EDSS,the position and number information of the drugs could be acquired imme-diately,and the complementation and inventory time were decreased by 67% and 58% respectively;the time for manual dispens-ing was reduced by 68%,and the incidence of internal mistakes was decreased by 76.7%;under new dispensing system,the pre-scription could be distributed automatically and intelligently,the rate of automatic prescription processing was increased to 72.7%, and the average waiting time to pick up drugs was controlled to below 10 min. CONCLUSIONS:The pharmacists’working effi-ciency and the quality of pharmaceutical care have been improved by the modern pharmaceutical logistics and dispensing system, which settle the foundation for the transformation of the pharmaceutical care mode.

ABSTRACT

Appropriate observational studies with sufficient external validity are apparently warranted to assess comparative effectiveness and safety of treatment with approved drugs in real world clinical practice. This kind of study must register patients consecutively without any arbitrariness, assess outcome carefully, (e.g. cardiovascular events) and automatically extract clinical data including results from laboratory tests and prescribed drugs. Clinical trials for the assessment of efficacy of newly developing drugs may also need such patients' registry. Data storage system by SS-MIX may be appropriate for this purpose. OBJECTIVE: To provide references for the setting up and running of automatic management in pharmacy. METHODS: The application of ROWA automated storage system after the setting up of automatic outpatient pharmacy in our hospital and its impact on the outpatient pharmacy were analyzed. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: The ROWA automated storage system has helped improve the working environment and efficiency of service, reduce labor intensity, increase the connotation of services, and the competitiveness, promote hospital's service brand as well as creating better social and economi- cal benefits.

ABSTRACT

Objective To improve the data storage performance of Oracle database and simplify data storage management in No.1 Military Medical Project.Methods Using the automatic storage management provided by Oracle 10g,Oracle database in No.1 Military Medical Project was upgraded to Oracle 10g,and then the upgraded Oracle database was migrated to Oracle automatic storage management system.At last,all kinds of tests were made to the Oracle automatic storage management system.Results Oracle automatic storage management system greatly simplified data storage management in such aspects as automatic disk striping,automatic datafile mirroring,automatic disk loads rebalancing,etc.Conclusion This method is simple and feasible with low cost.

ABSTRACT

Objective To Establish SAN-based network storage system compatible with hospital information system.Methods Based on the analysis of new demands for network storage of hospital information system and the characteristics of network storage technologies available,four intermediate servers and dual-storage disc array were used to construct SAN-based network storage system.Results With the safety,usability and expandability of data enhanced,the hospital ran safely and efficiently.Conclusion SAN-based construction is the development trend for network storage system in the new period.
