ABSTRACT

The wound mechanism, injury characteristics and treatment principles of anti-armored vehicle ammunition against armored crew in the past 20 years are summarized in this paper. Shock vibration, metal jet, depleted uranium aerosol and post armor breaking effect are the main factors for wounding armored crew. Their prominent characteristics are severe injury, high incidence of bone fracture, high rate of depleted uranium injury, and high incidence of multiple/combined injuries. During the treatment, attention must be paid on that the space of armored vehicle is limited, and the casualties should be moved outside of the cabin for comprehensive treatment. Especially, the management of depleted uranium injury and burn/inhalation injury are more important than other injuries for the armored wounds.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the TCM pathogenesis based on the analyses of TCM pattern elements. Methods TCM pattern elements of 84 patients with middle-late pancreatic cancer to analyze the TCM disease location and characteristics by their frequency and the contribution scores. Results A total of 84 patients were included, TCM disease location with the top 10 rank of the contribution scores were spleen, stomach, liver, gallbladder, kidney, intestine, lung, heart, spleen, stomach, while they were significantly higher than others (P<0.05). And the TCM pattern elements with the top 5 rank of the contribution scores were qi deficiency, dampness, heat, blood stasis, toxin, while they were significantly higher than others (P<0.01). Conclusions TCM disease locations of middle-late pancreatic cancer were mainly in spleen and stomach, and TCM pattern element were excessive patterns with qi deficiency, deficiency patterns with dampness, heat, blood stasis and toxin.

ABSTRACT

To explore the pharmacological principle of Artemisia carvifolia, the text mining technique was used. All the references of A. carvifolia were collected from PubMed database, and then the rules of the main ingredient, relative diseases, organs, tissues, proteins and metabolites were analyzed. Finally, a network was set up. Then it was found that the main ingredients included sesquiterpenoids, flavonoids, and volatileoils. The diseases such as malaria, cerebral malaria, falciparum malaria, visceral leishmaniasis and systemic lupus erythematosus were often treated with A. carvifolia. In association in organ were the liver, skin, trachea, lungs, and spleen.Correlations with tissues were mainly including macrophages, T lymphocytes, blood vessels, epithelial cells. The protein was correlation with it involved CYP450, PI3K, TNF-α, AASDPPT, DNA polymerase and so on. Comprehensive and systematic treatment principle of A. carvifolia was obtained by text mining, which was helpful in clinical application.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the treatment principle of distal crevasses in aortic dissection. Methods According to the different treatment principles of distal crevasses in aortic dissection to divide the patients into two groups:following the treatment principle group:take the principle of from near to far, endovascular repair of distal crevasses,if not deal with the crevasses involving visceral arteries,do not handle the distal crevasses; unfollowing the treatment principle group:do not deal with the crevasses involving visceral arteries, endovascular repair of it's distal crevasses).Analyze the postoperative discomfort (chest and back pain, lower back pain) incidence, postoperative distal crevasses happening again and false lumen changes respectively. Results Fifty-three patients were included in the standard,in which follow the treatment principle group has 37 cases, and do not follow the treatment principle group has 16 patients. There were no significance statistically in complained of postoperative discomfort and postoperative distal crevasses happening again(P > 0.05).And there was statistically significant in the false lumen (P < 0.05).Conclusions The prognosis of patients in the following the principle treatment is better than that of unfollowing the principle group. To treat the distal crevasses in aortic dissection should be took the principle of from near to far,if not deal with the crevasses involving visceral arteries, don't handle the distal crevasses also.

ABSTRACT

[Objective]Although “If it is not thriving but it is surviving, maintain it with Sutra ”is considered the most important treatment principle in acupuncture, its interpretation is confusing and inconsistent. Thus, in order to clarify this principle, we examined its original meaning and report the results here.
[Method]After investigating the source of “If it is not thriving but it is surviving, maintain it with Sutra ”within the “Huang-di nei-jing”(traditional Chinese medical text) and revealing the state of past research regarding this principle and its associated problems, we identified its background and used the “Zhangjiashan Han bamboo text Maishu”and “Dashu ,”which are only quoted in the “Jin fu” chapter of the Huangdi Neijing-Lingshu (the Yellow Emperor’s Canon), to trace a path back to the roots of “If it is not thriving but it is surviving, maintain it with Sutra ”and to elucidate its original meaning.
[Results]We were able to confirm that although there have heretofore been a total of four theories and 13opinions, none have been rationally interpreted.
[Conclusion]The facts that 1. “If it is not thriving but it is surviving, maintain it with Sutra”is based on a method of diagnosing pulses across the entire body, 2. the interpretation of the “Jin fu”chapter of the Huangdi Neijing-Lingshu contradicts the “Dashu ,”which is quoted in this text, and 3. the statement in the “Zhangjiashan Han bamboo text Maishu”that “when it is calm, then maintain it ”is the original form of “If it is not thriving but it is surviving, maintain it with Sutra ,”suggest that the original meaning of “If it is not thriving but it is surviving, maintain it with Sutra ”was likely that in cases where the form and rhythm of a pulse were normal, it should not be treated but instead addressed as usual.

ABSTRACT

This article explores the therapy mechanism and principle of Ze Qi Decoction syndrome in Diseases,Synopsis of Golden Chamber. The position, pathogenesis and diseases about Ze Qi Decoction syndrome are revealed. The feasibility of Ze Qi Decoction in treating lung cancer is proposed by clinical experience and experimental results. The four principles of Ze Qi Decoction(removing water retention and improving yang, dispersing phlegm and eliminating stagnation, invigorating the spleen and strengthening body resistance, clearing stagnated heat)can be summarized as cold and heat in combination, reinforcement and elimination in combination. The main clinical application of Ze Qi Decoction is to treat lung cancer, metastastic tumor of lung and so on.The treatment methods focus on regulating the activities of qi in the organs. The spleen is the foundation of acquired constitution;the treatmeng principal should be based on the spleen.Herba Euphoribiae Helioscopiae should be decocted first to remove the toxicity to protect the stomach.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To probe the mechanism of Dachengqi Decoction combined with the treatment principle of promoting production of body fluid with sweet-flavored and cold-natured drugs on the earth-dry and water-exhaust syndrome. Methods:Chinchilla Giganta rabbits were randomly divided into four groups,i.e. blank control group, pathological model group, timely purgation to preserve Yin treatment group and treatment group of purgation with drugs sweet in favor and cold in nature.Changes of symptoms, signs, pathological changes of organs,WBC count, nitric oxide(NO),superoxide dismutase(SOD),malondialdehyde(MDA),middle molecular substances(MMS),sulfydryl(-SH),K+ and Na+,and viscosities of whole blood and plasma before and after treatment were investigated. Results:There were significant differences in decrease of body temperature, increases of SOD,MMS,K+ and Na+,decreases of NO,MDA,-SH and viscosities of whole blood and plasma as the two treatment groups compared with the pathological model group(P

ABSTRACT

In TCM treatment of hepatitis B,one of refractory diseases, must follow strictly the principles of learning the past, but not rigidly adhere to it,and opening up and innovation. The principles of anti-virus, playing attention to objective detection. clinically re-researching, unifying disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation, as well as attaching importance to medicine toxicity and carefully selecting medicines and so on mentioned in this paper are a preliminary opinion based on the above view point in combination with long-term clinical practice and thinking.
