ABSTRACT
Objective Through the investigation and analysis to "Chinese Medical Digest" and its relative periodicals to get a general idea of the survival and situation of these periodicals and to establish the pattern for their survival and development. Methods Such methods as telephone consultation, questionnaire survey, interview, and conference discussion were adopted to collect the relative information of medical digest periodicals and thus an analysis was made upon it. Results There were 18 kinds of "Chinese Medical Digest" periodicals originally. Of all these 18 kinds of the periodicals, 6 kinds are still publishing, 10 kinds have transferred its nature to first-hand literature periodical, and 2 kinds have ceased their publishment. Conclusion As a result of the computer, the network and the full text database development, the survival of medical digest periodicals are endangered. However, regarding to the different domain of subject, different reforming measures should be taken.

OBJECTIVE:To study of the development trend of drug retail enterprises in China.METHODS:A comparison of GSP among China,Japan,America and Great Britain was made.RESULTS&CONCLUSION:The drug retailing in China should develop toward a mode of monolithic chain store.Large-scale drug distribution center should be established to meet the demands of drug supply&delivery.The professional service level should be improved to satisfy consumers'needs for rational use of drugs.Attention should be paid on the management of health products and those products that with their own brands so as to adapt the needs of industry development.

OBJECTIVE:To provide information about the current situations and trend of development in Chinese phar?maceutical trade.METHODS:We have generally overviewed the basic situation and existing problems in Chinese pharmaceu?tical trade and analysed and discussed its trend of development in the future.RESULTS&CONCLUSION:Chinese pharma?ceutical enterprises must think highly of their existing problems and the chances and challenges after entry into WTO,and take corresponding countermeasures to continually strengthen and improve their power of competition and jointly keep Chinese pharmaceutical trade healthy,constant and stable development.
