ABSTRACT Introduction: The passing technique requires a high skill level because the futsal field is narrow, and the distance between players is short, demanding strength and accuracy. An instrument of performance test is necessary to verify the evolution of this technique among the players. Objective: This study aims to develop a test instrument to measure the performance of futsal passing. Methods: Instrument preparation and reliability validity tests were applied in 120 athletes. Results: The results evidenced validity in the instrument with one minute passing time; that is, pass one is 0.855, and pass two is 0.857. The reliability value of the first Pass is 0.81, and the second Pass is 0.812. Conclusion: The development of the pass test tool is valid and reliable for its use in measuring the basic passing technique in soccer. RESUMO Introdução: A técnica de passe requer um alto nível de habilidade pois o campo de futsal é estreito e a distância entre jogadores é pequena, demandando força e precisão. Um instrumento de teste de desempenho é necessário para verificar o desenvolvimento na evolução dessa técnica entre os jogadores. Objetivo: O objetivo desse trabalho é desenvolver um instrumento de teste para mensurar o desempenho no passe de futsal. Métodos: Testes de preparação de instrumentos e validade de confiabilidade foram aplicados em 120 atletas. Resultados: Os resultados evidenciaram validade no instrumento com um minuto no tempo do passe, isto é, a validade de um passe é de 0,855 e de dois passes é de 0,857. O valor de confiabilidade do primeiro passe é de 0,81 e do segundo passe é de 0,812. Conclusão: O desenvolvimento da ferramenta no teste de passe é válido e confiável para sua utilização no aferimento da técnica básica de passe no futebol. RESUMEN Introducción: La técnica del pase pide un alto nivel de habilidad porque el campo de fútbol de salón es estrecho y la distancia entre los jugadores es pequeña, lo que exige fuerza y precisión. Es necesario un instrumento de prueba de rendimiento para comprobar el desarrollo en la evolución de esta técnica entre los jugadores. Objetivo: El objetivo de este trabajo es desarrollar un instrumento de prueba para medir el rendimiento en el pase del futsal. Métodos: Se aplicaron pruebas de validez del instrumento y de fiabilidad en 120 atletas. Resultados: Los resultados evidenciaron la validez en el instrumento con un minuto en el tiempo de la pasada, es decir, la validez de una pasada es de 0,855 y de dos pasadas es de 0,857. El valor de fiabilidad de la primera pasada es de 0,81 y de la segunda de 0,812. Conclusión: El desarrollo de la herramienta en el test de pase es válido y fiable para su uso en la medición de la técnica básica de pase en el fútbol. RESUMO As tecnologias de informação e comunicação têm-se disseminado globalmente. Elas estão cada vez mais presentes em quase todos os aspectos da vida humana, incluindo a saúde. Em meio à ampla disseminação de informações falsas, a questão da qualidade da informação tem assumido grande importância, especialmente em contexto de pandemia. Entre julho e agosto de 2020, foi realizada uma avaliação da qualidade da informação em sites sobre Covid-19 de quatro secretarias de saúde do estado de Mato Grosso do Sul. Essa avaliação participativa utilizou cinco critérios, acompanhando a literatura internacional, a saber: Técnico, Interatividade, Abrangência, Legibilidade e Acurácia, subdivididos em 46 indicadores. Os resultados apontam que os sites avaliados apresentaram baixo grau de conformidade com os indicadores e critérios utilizados e não divulgam as principais evidências científicas sobre o tema, disponíveis no site do Ministério da Saúde. A pandemia de Covid-19 tem sido marcada pela alta circulação de fake news. Nesse contexto, é imprescindível que páginas de secretarias de saúde apresentem informação sobre a doença com qualidade e legibilidade. Só assim, oferecerão um conteúdo informativo confiável e baseado em evidências científicas, contribuindo para o enfrentamento de notícias falsas e seus impactos negativos.


ABSTRACT Information and communication technologies have spread worldwide and are increasingly present in almost every aspect of human life, including health. The issue of information quality has assumed great importance amid the widespread dissemination of false knowledge, especially in a pandemic. We evaluated the quality of information on Covid-19 websites of four Health Secretariats in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, from July to August 2020. This participatory evaluation employed five criteria, following the international literature, namely: Technical, Interactivity, Comprehensiveness, Readability, and Accuracy, subdivided into 46 indicators. The results of the evaluated websites point to a low level of compliance with the indicators and criteria adopted and fail to disclose the primary scientific evidence on the topic, available on the Ministry of Health's website. The high circulation of fake news has marked the Covid-19 pandemic. In this context, Health Secretariats' pages should display quality and intelligible information about the disease. Only then will they offer reliable informational content based on scientific evidence, contributing to the fight against fake news and its adverse impacts.

ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT Educational Product and Technical-Technological Product constitute a specificity of postgraduate programs in the professional modality, a product that must be carefully evaluated by the programs and recorded on platforms of evaluating bodies. In 2019, a working group from the teaching area was assembled to create a Validation Form for these products. Thus, this article aims to present a proposal for improving this Validation Form for Educational/Technical-Technological Products, based on reflections treated in scientific articles and scientific events from the area, focusing on the relevance and need for this type of evaluation in a standardized way. It is intended to collaborate with the improvement of the evaluation processes and procedures of Educational/Technical-Technological Products for the necessary accuracy, representativeness, and homogeneity, which will allow the real dimensioning of the contributions of these products. This involves not only training qualified professionals, but also transforming practices in the Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) [Brazil's Unified Health System], promoting advances in science and in its fields of application.


RESUMEN Producto Educacional y Producto Técnico-Tecnológico constituidos como especificidad de programas de posgrado en modalidad profesional, producción que debe ser cuidadosamente evaluada por programas y registrada en plataformas de instancias evaluadoras. En 2019, fue estructurado equipo laboral del área de enseñanza para criar Ficha de Validez de esos productos. Así, este artículo objetiva presentar una propuesta de perfeccionamiento de esta Ficha de Validez de Productos Educacionales/Técnico-Tecnológicos, basado en reflexiones tratadas en artículos científicos y eventos científicos de la área, enfocado en la pertinencia y necesidad de eso tipo de evaluación de manera estandarizada. Pretende colaborar con el perfeccionamiento de procesos y procedimientos evaluativos de Productos Educacionales/Técnico-Tecnológicos para necesaria precisión, representatividad y homogeneidad, que permitirá el real dimensionamiento de las contribuciones de esos productos. Eso envuelve no apenas formación de profesionales calificados, sino transformación de prácticas del Sistema Único de Salud, promoviendo avanzos en la ciencia y sus campos de aplicación.

RESUMO Objetivo Realizar a equivalência cultural da versão brasileira da escala SSRS, por meio de sua adaptação cultural e linguística. Método Após tradução da SSRS para o português brasileiro e retro tradução para o inglês, os itens foram comparados com o instrumento original. As discrepâncias existentes foram modificadas por consenso por um comitê de fonoaudiólogos, resultando na Escala de Reinvestimento Específico na Fala - EREF. A EREF tem 39 questões e seis alternativas na chave de resposta: "discordo totalmente", "discordo", "discordo ligeiramente", "concordo ligeiramente", "concordo" e "concordo totalmente". A pontuação é a soma das pontuações médias de cada subdimensão da escala, sendo que os itens negativos não entram na contabilidade ou exigem pontuação reversa. Para a equivalência cultural, a EREF foi aplicada em um total de 74 profissionais em exercício de atividade envolvendo comunicação com público, falantes do português brasileiro como primeira língua, com acréscimo da opção "não aplicável" na chave de respostas, para identificação de questões não compreendidas ou não apropriadas para a população alvo e cultura brasileira. Resultados A escala foi inicialmente aplicada em 56 participantes. Treze encontraram dificuldade para o preenchimento de 27 questões. Após a adaptação da tradução das sentenças não compreendidas ou consideradas inapropriadas, a EREF modificada foi aplicada em mais 13 respondentes e não foram encontradas barreiras culturais e/ou conceituais. Conclusão Foi verificada equivalência cultural entre a SSRS e sua versão traduzida para o português brasileiro, a EREF. As próximas etapas para validação da EREF para o Português Brasileiro serão realizadas com a conclusão desta fase.


ABSTRACT Purpose To present the cross-cultural equivalence of the Brazilian version of the Specific Reinvestment Scale in Speech - SRRS through its cultural and linguistic adaptation. Methods After the SSRS was translated into Brazilian Portuguese, the back-translation was done and the items were compared. Discrepancies were modified by consensus of a committee of SLPs. The SSRS, named "Escala de Reinvestimento Específico na Fala - EREF", has 39 questions and six alternatives in the answer key: "strongly disagree", "disagree", "slightly disagree", "slightly agree", "agree" and "strongly agree". The mean score is computed by the sum of each subdimension. Negative items may not be included in the EREF scoring or need reversed coding process before using them. For cultural equivalence, the EREF was applied to a total of 74 professionals working in an activity involving communication with the public, speakers of Brazilian Portuguese as a first language, with an extra item in the answer key - "not applicable" - to identify issues that might not have been understood or were not appropriate for the target population and Brazilian culture. Results The scale was initially applied to 56 participants, thirteen of whom found it difficult to complete 27 questions. After adaptation of those sentences, the modified EREF was applied to 13 more participants and no further cultural and / or conceptual barriers were found. Conclusion Cultural equivalence between the SSRS and its translated version to Brazilian Portuguese - EREF was verified. The next steps for the EREF validation for Brazilian Portuguese will be carried out.

ABSTRACT Objective: To elaborate a Theoretical Model of Sexual and Reproductive Health care offered in Primary Health Care. Method: Documentary research, with a qualitative approach. Government documents and evaluative studies constituted the data sources, collected between August 2018 and June 2019, and analyzed based on the health evaluation literature. Results: Promotion of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Clinical Care were two structural components of the theoretical model of sexual and reproductive health care in Primary Care. The model includes disease prevention activities, health promotion, treatments, and diagnoses related to sexual and reproductive health. Conclusion: The theoretical model developed in this study presents the theory that supports the operationalization of sexual and reproductive health care in primary care according to government regulations in Brazilian scenario and may be useful in future evaluative research on the subject.


RESUMEN Objetivo: Construir el Modelo Teórico de atención en Salud Sexual y Reproductiva ofrecida en la Atención Primaria de Salud como una de las etapas iniciales del proceso de evaluación de implantación. Método: Investigación documental, con enfoque cualitativo. Los documentos gubernamentales y los estudios evaluativos constituyeron las fuentes de datos, recopilados entre agosto de 2018 y junio de 2019 y analizados con base en la literatura de evaluación de la salud. Resultados: La Promoción de la Salud Sexual y Reproductiva y la Atención Clínica fueron los dos componentes estructurantes del modelo teórico de atención de la salud sexual y reproductiva en Atención Primaria. Incluye actividades de prevención de enfermedades, promoción de la salud, tratamientos y diagnósticos relacionados con la salud sexual y reproductiva. Conclusión: El modelo teórico desarrollado en este estudio presenta la teoría que apoya la operacionalización de la atención de la salud sexual y reproductiva en la atención primaria de acuerdo con las normativas gubernamentales en escenario brasileño, y puede ser útil en futuras investigaciones evaluativas sobre el tema.


RESUMO Objetivo: Construir um Modelo Teórico da atenção à saúde sexual e reprodutiva ofertada na Atenção Primária à Saúde. Métodos: Pesquisa documental, com abordagem qualitativa. Documentos governamentais e estudos avaliativos constituíram as fontes de dados, coletadas entre agosto de 2018 e junho de 2019 e analisadas com base na literatura de avaliação em saúde. Resultados: A Promoção da Saúde Sexual e Reprodutiva e a Assistência Clínica foram os dois componentes estruturantes do modelo teórico da atenção à saúde sexual e reprodutiva na Atenção Primária. O modelo contempla atividades de prevenção de doenças, promoção da saúde, tratamentos e diagnósticos relacionados à saúde sexual e reprodutiva. Conclusão: O modelo teórico elaborado apresenta a teoria que subsidia a operacionalização da atenção à saúde sexual e reprodutiva na atenção primária, segundo as normativas governamentais no cenário brasileiro, e poderá ser útil em pesquisas avaliativas futuras sobre o tema.

Resumo: Introdução: Este trabalho apresenta uma revisão da literatura sobre as experiências de avaliação de egressos de cursos de graduação da área da saúde no Brasil, com o desenvolvimento de processos a partir do protagonismo do egresso e de sua importante atuação na verificação da qualidade do ensino superior. Objetivo: Este estudo teve como objetivo conhecer experiências de avaliação de egressos de cursos de graduação da área saúde no Brasil, de modo a identificar processos e o protagonismo do egresso na verificação da qualidade do ensino superior com foco nos cursos de Medicina e Enfermagem. Método: Foi realizada uma metassíntese, uma modalidade da revisão de literatura, com a finalidade de analisar qualitativamente estudos que tratam da temática da avaliação de egressos do ensino superior. A busca de produções científicas sobre o tema teve como ponto de partida a seguinte questão "Como são avaliados os egressos de ensino superior da área médica no Brasil?". Optou-se por realizar uma busca nas principais bases de dados da área da saúde: PubMed, Web of Science, LILACS, IBECS e SciELO. Obteve-se um total de 245 trabalhos. Adotaram-se os seguintes critérios de inclusão: 1. trabalho com desenvolvimento de questionário de avaliação de egressos; 2. trabalho com avaliação de egressos; 3. trabalho com participação de egressos; 4. trabalho com indicadores de qualidade na educação superior; 5. desenvolvimento de metodologias de avaliação da educação superior. Selecionaram-se 13 artigos. Cabe ressaltar que para ser incluído no estudo o trabalho deveria se enquadrar em no mínimo três critérios. Resultado: As evidências permitem concluir que o egresso participa do processo de avaliação de forma singular, pois o protagonismo dele fica nítido nos estudos analisados, seja como entrevistado ou sujeito que responde ao questionário desenvolvido com métricas científicas. Conclusão: A avaliação de egressos é uma importante ferramenta estratégica utilizada pela gestão de instituições de ensino, podendo ser considerada uma política pública de significativo impacto. As evidências ratificam a necessidade de incorporação de egressos também como protagonista nos processos de autoavaliação institucional.


Abstract: Introduction: This work presents a literature review on the experiences of evaluating graduates from undergraduate health sciences courses in Brazil with the development of processes centered on the graduate and his/her important role in verifying the quality of higher education. Objective: To understand the experiences of evaluating graduates from undergraduate health sciences courses in Brazil, identifying processes and the protagonism of the graduate in verifying the quality of higher education with a focus on medical and nursing courses. Methodology: A meta-synthesis, a type of literature review, was conducted with the purpose of qualitatively analyzing studies that address the theme of the evaluation of higher education graduates. The search for scientific productions on the subject had as its starting point the following question "How are higher education graduates in the medical field evaluated in Brazil?" We opted to perform a search in the main health databases PubMed, Web of Science, Lilacs, IBECS and SciELO. A total of 245 studies were found. The following inclusion criteria were then applied: 1- Work involving the development of a questionnaire for evaluating graduates; 2- Work involving the evaluation of graduates; 3- Work involving the participation of graduates; 4- Work involving quality indicators in higher education; 5- Development of methodologies for the evaluation of higher education. Following the application of these criteria, 13 articles were selected. It should be noted that in order to be included in the study, the work had to meet at least three criteria. Results: The evidence allows us to conclude that the graduate participates in the evaluation process in a unique way, his role is clear in the studies analyzed, whether he is active as an interviewee or subject who responds to a questionnaire developed with scientific metrics. Conclusion: The evaluation of graduates is an important strategic tool used by the management of educational institutions, and it can be considered a public policy of significant impact. The evidence confirms the need to incorporate graduates also as protagonists in the institutional self-assessment process.

Objective:To comprehensively evaluate the scientific and technological innovation capability and efficiency of hospitals and provide references for effectively promoting their high-quality development in scientific innovation.Methods:The indexes of 69 tertiary public general hospitals were collected in 2018. The science and technology innovation capability of these hospitals was evaluated using science and technology evaluation metrics(STEM), while their science and technology innovation efficiency was evaluated using the super-efficiency data envelopment analysis model. Then the matching relation of the two dimensions was analyzed, with outstanding hospitals identified using the skyline algorithm.Results:The STEM and science/technology innovation efficiency of 69 tertiary public hospitals averaged 29.61 and 0.960 respectively. Based on STEM and efficiency, the 69 hospitals were divided into four types: the type of high capability and efficiency comprising 9 hospitals(13.04%), that of high capability and low efficiency comprising 16 hospitals(23.19%), that of low capability and high efficiency comprising 16 hospitals(23.19%) and that of low capability and efficiency comprising 28 hospitals(40.58%). Five hospitals(7.24%)were selected as outstanding examples of science and technology innovation.Conclusions:This study constructed a set of scientific and effective methods for comprehensively evaluating scientific and technological innovation capability and efficiency, for classifying the current state of science and technology innovation of a hospital and identifying outstanding ones. The assessment results could enable the hospitals to make targeted management measures.

Objective:To evaluate whether the time to positive (TTP), handling time after positive alarm and turnaround time (TAT) of bacteremia blood culture can be shortened by optimizing blood culture workflow.Methods:This study was conducted retrospectively. Positive blood culture samples collected from Peking University People′s Hospital from January 1, 2014 to June 30, 2021 were analyzed in stages. In the traditional process stage of this study (2014), 502 bottles of positive blood culture samples were included in the analysis. In the first stage of process optimization (2016), the working time of staff was increased to 22:00, and 976 positive blood culture specimens were included in the analysis. In the second stage of process optimization (2018), the rapid identification process of MALDI-TOF MS was added, and a total of 1 029 bottles of positive blood culture samples were included. In the third stage of process optimization (2020) with the introduction of the new VIRTUO BACT/ALERT system. The difference of TTP, handling time after positive alarm and TAT of whole process in different stages of traditional process and process optimization were compared. All data were statistically significant when P<0.05 using rank-sum test. Results:In the traditional process stage (2014), the median quartile time of handling time after positive alarm was 55.70 (47.35, 68.45) h. In the first stage of process optimization (2016), the median quartile time of handling time after positive alarm was 47.25 (33.88, 59.96) h, and the handling time after positive alarm in the first stage of process optimization was significantly shorter than that in the traditional process stage ( Z=?10.734, P<0.001). In the second stage of process optimization (2018), the median quartile time for handling time after positive alarm was 47.18(36.41, 59.40) h, and 12.18% of the preliminary identification results of Gram-negative bacilli before 17:00 could be reported to the clinic before audit. In the third stage of process optimization (2020), the median quartile of TTP and TAT were 39.56 (21.52, 62.65) h and 78.16(64.68, 99.72) h respectively in the original BACT/ALERT 3D system. The new VIRTUO BACT/ALERT system had a median quartile of 37.03(21.08, 58.22) h for TTP and 73.41(62.88, 89.48) h for TAT. VIRTUO BACT/ALERT 3D had a significantly shorter TTP than BACT/ALERT 3D ( Z=?2.273, P=0.023), the TAT of VIRTUO BACT/ALERT system was significantly shorter than that of BACT/ALERT 3D system ( Z=?4.040, P<0.001). Conclusion:By improving the blood culture process of microbiology laboratory in many aspects and measures, the processing time of blood culture in each stage can be shortened and clinical benefits can be obtained.

ABSTRACT

Objective To describe the characteristics and registration status of clinical trials of new drugs for nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), and to provide a reference for the design and implementation of clinical trials of new drugs for NASH. Methods The U.S. Clinical Trials Database, China Clinical Trial Registry, and Center for Drug Evaluation, National Medical Products Administration, were searched for clinical trials of new drug registration and interventional studies with NASH as the indication published up to August 6, 2021, using NASH in English and Chinese characters as the keywords, and liver cirrhosis was excluded. Two researchers independently searched and screened the articles to extract relevant information. Results A total of 196 clinical trials of new drug registration or interventional studies for NASH were included, among which there were 174 trials registered abroad and 22 trials registered in China, and the number of registrations tended to increase year by year. The numbers of phase Ⅰ, phase Ⅰ/Ⅱ(including Ⅰb/Ⅱa), phase Ⅱ, phase Ⅱ/Ⅲ, and phase Ⅲ clinical trials were 45(23.0%), 8(4.1%), 112(57.1%), 4(2.0%), and 19(9.7%), respectively. The main drug types included farnesoid X receptors, fibroblast growth factors, peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor agonists, and glucagon-like peptide-1, with numbers of 16(8.16%), 14(7.14%), 11(5.61%), and 13(6.63%), respectively. The clinical trials of innovative drugs for NASH initiated by the sponsors in European and American regions accounted for the highest proportion, and there was a gradual increase in the number of clinical trials of innovative drugs in China in recent years, with a similar distribution of single-center and multicenter clinical trials. As for the trials with NASH patients as subjects, the numbers of trials with pathology, imaging, and clinical diagnosis as the main inclusion criteria were 125, 66, and 42, respectively. Phase Ⅰ clinical trials used safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetic parameters as the main assessment indices, while phase Ⅱ and phase Ⅲ clinical trials often used safety and efficacy as the main assessment indices. The number of clinical trials for the registration of innovative drugs for NASH was relatively low but kept increasing in China, and there were fewer clinical trials of innovative traditional Chinese medicine drugs compared with innovative chemical drugs. Conclusion There is a significant increase in the registration of international clinical trials of innovative drugs for NASH, and most of these trials are in the early phases, with large differences in inclusion criteria and assessment indices, a lack of unified evaluation indices, and relatively few trials with new designs. There are fewer clinical trials of innovative drugs for NASH in China than in European and American countries, and the number of such trials is gradually increasing in China.

ABSTRACT - BACKGROUND: Dysphagia can lead to aspiration pneumonia, impacting the nutritional status and quality of life of the patient. The videofluoroscopy is highlighted for allowing both a real-time evaluation and the recording of the images for later review and analysis. AIM: This study aimed to describe the characteristics of the population referred for videofluoroscopy and its value as an investigation method. METHODS: A descriptive and retrospective study was conducted. Exams were analyzed in lateral and anteroposterior views and reviewed using the frame-by-frame analysis software. The variables analyzed were an indication of the exam, previous diseases, dynamics of the oral and pharyngeal phases, and the degree of penetration/aspiration. RESULTS: A total of 141 exams were analyzed. The study population had a median age of 66.24±17.78 years. For the indication of the exam, the investigation of dysphagia was highlighted (n=87, 61.7%) and for previous conditions, diverticulum (n=13, 9.2%), pharyngeal bar (n=12, 8.51%), and stroke and Parkinson's disease (n=9, 6.4%) were highlighted. In the oral phase, 45 (31.9%) patients had a premature loss, and 108 (76.6%) patients had normal transit time. However, 100 (70.9%) had inadequate ejection. In the pharyngeal phase, 119 (84.4%) had efficient laryngeal displacement and 107 (75.9%) had an adequate opening of the upper esophageal sphincter. The beginning of the pharyngeal phase was classified as inadequate in 131 (92.9%) patients, and 80 (56.74%) had pharyngeal residue. Notably, 100 (70.9%) patients had grade 1 on the penetration/aspiration scale. CONCLUSION: Despite the didactic division of phases, swallowing is complex and has transition stages. Videofluoroscopy is the only method for evaluating all phases of swallowing and its events.


RESUMO - RACIONAL: a disfagia pode levar ao desenvolvimento de pneumonia broncoaspirativa, impactando o estado nutricional e a qualidade de vida do paciente. A videofluoroscopia se destaca por permitir tanto a avaliação em tempo real como o registro das imagens para revisão e análise posterior. OBJETIVO: Descrever as características da população encaminhada para videofluoroscopia e seu valor como método de investigação. MÉTODOS: estudo descritivo e retrospectivo. Exames analisados em visão lateral e ântero-posterior e revisados com software de análise quadro a quadro. Variáveis analisadas: indicação do exame, doença base, dinâmica da fase oral e da fase faríngea e a grau de penetração/aspiração. RESULTADOS: foram analisados 141 exames. A população estudada tinha em média 66,24 ± 17,78 anos. Para indicação do exame, destacou-se: investigação de disfagia (n=87, 61,7%) e para condição prévia: divertículo (n=13, 9,2%), barra faríngea (n=12, 8,51%), acidente vascular e doença de Parkinson (n=9, 6,4%). Na fase oral, 45 pacientes (31,9%) apresentaram escape prematuro. Tempo de trânsito normal foi registrado em 108 (76,6%) pacientes. Porém, 100 pacientes (70,9%) apresentaram ejeção inadequada. Na fase faríngea, 119 (84,4%) apresentaram deslocamento laríngeo eficiente e 107 (75,9%) abertura adequada do esfíncter esofágico superior. O início da fase faríngea foi classificado como inadequado em 131 pacientes (92,9%) e 80 (56.74%) apresentaram resíduo faríngeo. 100 pacientes (70,9%) apresentaram grau 1 na escala de penetração/aspiração CONCLUSÃO: apesar da divisão didática das fases, a deglutição é uma função complexa e possui etapas de transição. A videofluoroscopia é o único método para avaliar todas as fases da deglutição e seus eventos.

RESUMEN Fundamento: la evaluación constituye un componente esencial del proceso formativo que permite la retroalimentación del grado de cumplimiento de los objetivos propuestos. Objetivo: describir los resultados de la evaluación realizada durante el proceso de formación académica de especialistas en Medicina General Integral en el territorio centro-norte de la provincia de Villa Clara. Métodos: se realizó una investigación descriptiva, durante los meses de diciembre 2020-enero 2021, en la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas de Sagua la Grande. Se emplearon métodos teóricos para la fundamentación de la investigación y empíricos: el análisis de documentos: expedientes docentes, relatorías de exámenes prácticos y teóricos orales, exámenes teóricos escritos y actas de exámenes de promoción y graduación. Resultados: predominaron los resultados satisfactorios en los exámenes prácticos y teóricos orales con tribunales internos, mientras que en los exámenes prácticos, teóricos orales y escritos con tribunales cruzados, los resultados no fueron satisfactorios. Se constató que en la evaluación de curso o frecuente prevalecieron los resultados satisfactorios que contrastan con los del examen de graduación. Conclusiones: los resultados de la evaluación durante el proceso de formación académica como especialistas de primer grado en Medicina General Integral revelaron contradicciones en la valoración de la competencia y el desempeño de los aspirantes a especialistas, en correspondencia con el tipo de examen aplicado y la composición del tribunal evaluador.


ABSTRACT Background: evaluation is an essential component of the training process that allows feedback on the degree of compliance with the proposed objectives. Objective: to describe the results of the evaluation carried out during the academic training process of specialists in Comprehensive General Medicine in the north-central territory of the province of Villa Clara. Methods: a descriptive research was carried out, from December 2020 to January 2021, at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Sagua la Grande. Theoretical and empirical methods were used for the foundation of the research and empirical ones: the analysis of documents: teaching records, reports of oral practical and theoretical exams, written theoretical exams and minutes of subjects grades and graduation exams. Results: satisfactory results predominated in the oral practical and theoretical exams within inner examining board, while in the practical, oral and written theoretical exams with outer examining board, the results were not satisfactory. It was found that satisfactory results prevailed in the course or frequent evaluation, contrasting with those of the graduation exam. Conclusions: the results of the evaluation during the process of academic training as first degree specialists in Comprehensive General Medicine revealed contradictions in the assessment of the competence and performance of the aspiring specialists, in correspondence with the type of examination applied and the composition of the examining board.

RESUMEN Fundamento: el Plan de Estudios E de la carrera de Medicina promueve cambios en la evaluación al incorporar el empleo del portafolio. Objetivo: valorar el empleo de la guía de evaluación para la actividad de educación en el trabajo en el portafolio, desde la perspectiva de los estudiantes y los profesores. Métodos: se realizó una investigación educacional con enfoque cualitativo en la Universidad Ciencias Médicas Villa Clara, durante el periodo 2019-2020, al terminar la impartición de la asignatura Introducción a la Medicina General Integral. Se utilizaron métodos teóricos para la fundamentación de la investigación, y empíricos que contribuyeron a la obtención de la información necesaria. Resultados: para los estudiantes resultó ser una forma novedosa de evaluación que requiere tiempo y laboriosidad. No reconocieron su tributo a la enseñanza de las estrategias curriculares declaradas en el programa de la asignatura. Los profesores valoraron de útil el empleo de la guía de evaluación, aunque no estimularon la evaluación entre iguales y desaprovecharon las oportunidades para implementar las estrategias curriculares; todos reconocieron la necesidad de preparación metodológica. Conclusiones: la guía de evaluación es un instrumento pertinente que favorece el enfoque personalizado, participativo e integrador de la evaluación, pero requiere capacitación dirigida al binomio alumno-profesor.


ABSTRACT Background: the Study Plan E of the Medicine career promotes changes in the evaluation by incorporating the use of the portfolio. Objective: to assess the use of the evaluation guide for the activity of in-service training in the portfolio, from the perspective of students and teachers. Methods: an educational research with a qualitative approach was carried out at Villa Clara Medical Sciences University, from 2019 to 2020, at the end of the Introduction to Comprehensive General Medicine subject. Theoretical methods were used for the foundation of the research, and empirical ones that contributed to obtaining the necessary information. Results: for the students it turned out to be a novel form of evaluation that requires time and laboriousness. They did not recognize its tribute to the teaching of the curricular strategies declared in the subject program. The teachers valued the use of the evaluation guide as useful, although they did not stimulate peer evaluation and missed the opportunities to implement the curricular strategies; they recognized the need for methodological preparation. Conclusions: the evaluation guide is a pertinent instrument that favors the personalized, participatory and integrating approach of the evaluation, but it requires training aimed at the student-teacher binomial.

RESUMEN Introducción: la oponencia a la tesis de especialidad es uno de los componentes esenciales de la evaluación final de este documento y en el cual aún existen insuficiencias. Objetivo: proponer una metodología para la evaluación de los aspectos formales y científicos del trabajo de terminación de especialidad. Métodos: revisión bibliográfica en bases de datos SciELO y CUMED mediante el motor de búsqueda Google académico, de documentos normativos de los Ministerios de Salud Pública y Educación Superior de Cuba, y criterios de expertos y directivos universitarios. Fueron seleccionados 11 documentos relacionados con la temática, de los cuales 8 (72,7 %) corresponden al quinquenio 2017-2021. Desarrollo: se presenta una metodología para la confección del informe de oponencia de la tesis de terminación de la especialidad que puede ayudar a los tribunales estatales a realizar esta actividad y lograr una evaluación justa y uniforme. Contiene elementos metodológicos actualizados no siempre bien aplicados por los evaluadores y en el cual participan cada vez más profesionales de la salud. Conclusiones: esta metodología debe considerarse un instrumento útil que permite elevar la preparación de los evaluadores y la calidad en el desempeño de tan importante función.


ABSTRACT Introduction: the opposition to the specialty thesis is one of the essential components of the final evaluation of this document and in which there are still insufficiencies. Objective: to propose a methodology for the evaluation of the formal and scientific aspects of the specialty completion work. Methods: bibliographic review in SciELO and CUMED databases through the academic Google search engine, of normative documents of the Ministries of Public Health and Higher Education of Cuba, and criteria of experts and university directors. 11 documents related to the topic were selected, where 8 (72.7%) out of them correspond to the 2017-2021 five-year period. Development: a methodology is presented for the preparation of the opposition report of the specialty termination thesis that can help the state examining board to carry out this activity and achieve a fair and uniform evaluation. It contains updated methodological elements that are not always well applied by evaluators and in which more and more health professionals participate. Conclusions: this methodology should be considered a useful instrument that allows raising the preparation of the evaluators and the quality in the performance of such an important function.

Este estudo objetivouanalisar a organização curricular dos cursos degraduação emOdontologia nos países membros doMercado Comum do Sul (Mercosul), tendo como base a estrutura de agrupamento de conteúdos essenciais estabelecida pela Resolução CNE/CES nº 3, de 19 de fevereiro de 2002e ratificada pela Resolução nº3, de 21 de junho de 2021. A seleção de cursos foirealizada a partir de dados existentes em órgãos governamentais dos diferentes países identificados como universo de estudo, assim como na base de dados Universia. A amostra foiconstituída pelos currículos desses cursosobtidos nos sitesde suas respectivas instituições, sendo 141 cursos incluídos no Brasil, 8 na Argentina, 2 no Paraguaie 2 no Uruguai.As cargas horárias das disciplinas constituintes das matrizes curriculares destes cursos foramsomadas, de acordo com o Artigo 6° das Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais (DCN) Brasileiras, sendo este subdividido em Ciências Biológicas e da Saúde, Ciências Humanas e Sociais e Ciências Odontológicas. Os dados foram analisados por meio de estatística descritiva. A análise dos resultados permite concluir que hásimilaridade, atual, de estrutura curricular,com algumas características a serem salientadas como a maior carga-horária exigida no Paraguai e a menor, no Brasil. Outros estudos relacionados com a temática, utilizando outras formas de coleta de dados e percursos metodológicos,são imprescindíveis para que se possa avaliar possibilidades de aproximação e trânsito livre de egressos, visando um perfil profissiográfico regional,que favoreça apossibilidade de, no futuro, estabelecer uma estratégia de "formação para a integração"nos Estados Partesdo Mercosul (AU).


This study analyzes the curricular organization of the Dentistry Courses in Mercosur member countries, based on the essential contents'grouping structure, established by the Resolution CNE / CES n. 3 of February 19, 2002. The programs' selection was carried out from existing data of the government agencies of the different countries studied, and in the Universia database. The sample consisted of the curricula of these programs obtained in the websites of their respective institutions, comprising 141 Brazilian programs, 8 Argentinian, 2 Paraguayan, and 2Uruguayan. The hourly loads of the disciplines of the curricular matrices of these courses were added, according to the Article 6 of the "Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais" (DCN -Brazilian National Curricular Guidelines), which is subdivided into Biological and Health Sciences, Human and Social Sciences, and Dental Sciences. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data. The software used for statistical analysis was SPSS version 22.0. The analysis of the results leads to the conclusion that there is currently a similarity inthe countries' curricular structure. Eventual adjustments should be made to achieve a regional professional profile, to establish in the future a strategy of "training for integration" that allows the free passage of Dentistry graduates in Mercosur Member States (AU).

RESUMEN Fundamento: resulta necesario emprender una labor científico-metodológica que garantice la preparación de los docentes para la correcta aplicación del examen oral como parte del proceso enseñanza aprendizaje. Objetivo: diseñar una estrategia metodológica para preparar a los profesores de la asignatura Primera Asistencia Médica de la disciplina Preparación para la Defensa en la correcta aplicación de la evaluación oral. Métodos: se realizó una investigación con enfoque mixto en el campo de la educación médica superior que comprendió la etapa de febrero a junio de 2017 para el estudio y desarrollo de un trabajo científico-metodológico. Se utilizaron métodos del nivel teórico, empíricos y matemáticos. La validación de la estrategia se realizó por criterio de especialistas. Resultados: se identificaron los principales problemas para la aplicación del examen oral entre los que sobresalieron: predominio de preguntas de reproducción del contenido, pocas habilidades para la evaluación oral, y escasez de bibliografías y tiempo para el estudio independiente, por lo que se diseñó una estrategia metodológica para la preparación de los profesores en la elaboración del instrumento de evaluación oral. Conclusiones: fue valorada por criterios de especialistas como adecuada considerando sus métodos y procedimientos para el logro de los objetivos de la mencionada asignatura.


ABSTRACT Background: it is necessary to undertake a scientific-methodological work that guarantees the preparation of teachers for the correct application of the oral exam as part of the teaching-learning process. Objective: to design a methodological strategy to prepare teachers of the First Medical Care subject of the Defense Preparation discipline in the correct application of oral evaluation. Methods: a research with a mixed approach was carried out in the field of higher medical education that included the stage from February to June 2017 for the study and development of a scientific-methodological work. Methods of the theoretical, empirical and mathematical level were used. The validation of the strategy was carried out according to the criteria of specialists. Results: the main problems for the application of the oral examination were identified, among them stood out: predominance of questions of reproduction of the content, few skills for oral evaluation, and lack of bibliographies and time for independent study, that´s why a methodological strategy for the preparation of teachers in the development of the oral assessment instrument was designed. Conclusions: it was valued by specialist criteria as adequate considering its methods and procedures to achieve the objectives of the aforementioned subject.

ABSTRACT

Abstract The lack of knowledge in the biomedical literature regarding the validity of qualitative studies might be related to the lower number of qualitative studies that have been published. The criticisms range from a lack of theoretical depth to the superficial discussions of empirical findings. The aim of this study was to explore the bibliometric entities and the trends in the structure of qualitative research in the biomedical literature. A bibliometric analysis and mapping of the biomedical literature were used. The number of studies selected was 1,725. The heath themes with the most publications included Health Management (12%) and Women's Health (9.8%), while the authors of the studies had academic affiliation in 76 different countries. The sample sizes were between 11 and 20 participants (27.13%) and the Grounded Theory framework (9.04%) stood out. The improved structuring of a qualitative research extends the effective communication between health providers and researchers, and support in the management of clinical situations.


Resumo A dificuldade de entendimento na literatura biomédica sobre a validade dos estudos qualitativos pode estar relacionada ao menor número de estudos qualitativos publicados. As críticas também vão desde a falta de profundidade teórica até discussões pouco objetivas de descobertas empíricas. O objetivo deste estudo foi explorar padrões bibliométricos e as tendências na estrutura das pesquisas qualitativas na literatura biomédica. Utilizou-se análise bibliométrica e mapeamento da literatura biomédica. O número de estudos selecionados foi 1.725. Os temas de saúde com mais publicações incluíram Gestão em Saúde (12%) e Saúde da Mulher (9,8%), enquanto os autores dos estudos tiveram afiliação acadêmica em 76 países diferentes. O tamanho da amostra mais observado foi de 11 a 20 participantes (27,13%) e o referencial da Grounded Theory (9,04%) o mais utilizado. A estruturação aprimorada de uma pesquisa qualitativa amplia a comunicação eficaz entre profissionais de saúde e pesquisadores, além de apoiar o gerenciamento de situações clínicas.

RESUMEN Introducción: desde hace algunos años existe un creciente interés por la evaluación formativa, el empoderamiento de sus conceptos y las diferentes estrategias para su aplicación; no obstante, los roles que debe cumplir el docente en su aplicación son fundamentales para lograr efectividad, y siguen siendo objeto de diversas opiniones. Objetivo: identificar algunos roles del docente en la implementación de la evaluación formativa para mejorar los aprendizajes. Métodos: se ejecutó la revisión sistemática de la bibliografía para desarrollar un análisis crítico-reflexivo del contenido de documentos, se tomaron en cuenta tesis de doctorado, maestrías, artículos originales, de revisión y editoriales publicados desde 2010 a 2019 en castellano. La búsqueda fue realizada en las bases de datos SciELO y Google Académico de septiembre a diciembre de 2019; las palabras clave utilizadas fueron: "evaluación educacional", "procesos evaluativos" y "rol docente". Tras la identificación de los estudios preseleccionados, se llevó a cabo la lectura de los títulos, resúmenes y palabras clave para comprobar la pertinencia con el estudio. Resultados: la revisión de los diferentes documentos señalados permitió identificar cinco roles del docente en la implementación de la evaluación formativa: planificar los procesos evaluativos, socializar la evaluación, analizar las evidencias, retroalimentar y reajustar la praxis, los que fueron argumentados metodológicamente. Conclusiones: aunque el éxito de la evaluación formativa depende de los componentes personales del proceso docente educativo, sí corresponde al docente cumplir determinados roles para asegurar su eficacia.


ABSTRACT Introduction: for some years there has been a growing interest in formative evaluation, the empowerment of its concepts and the different strategies for its application; however, the roles that the teacher must fulfill in its application are fundamental to achieve effectiveness, and they continue to be the subject of different opinions. Objective: to identify some roles of the teacher in the implementation of formative assessment to improve learning. Methods: a systematic review of the bibliography was carried out to develop a critical-reflective analysis of the content of documents; doctoral theses, master's degrees, original, review and editorial articles published from 2010 to 2019 in Spanish were taken into account. The search was carried out in the SciELO and Google Academic databases from September to December 2019; the keywords used were: "educational evaluation", "evaluation processes" and "teaching role". After the identification of the preselected studies, the titles, abstracts and keywords were read to check their relevance to the study. Results: the review of the different documents indicated allowed identifying five roles of the teacher in the implementation of the formative evaluation: planning the evaluation processes, socializing the evaluation, analyzing the evidence, providing feedback and readjusting the praxis, which were methodologically argued. Conclusions: although the success of the formative assessment depends on the personal components of the educational teaching process, it does correspond to the teacher to fulfill certain roles to ensure its effectiveness.

RESUMEN Fundamento: la formación de Terapeutas Ocupacionales de la Universidad de La Frontera se realiza a través de currículos innovadores, por ello se apuesta por estrategias metodológicas para desarrollar pensamiento crítico y reflexivo, trabajo en equipo con responsabilidad social, al surgir así aprendizaje y servicio. Objetivo: conocer la percepción en relación con aprendizaje y servicio, en estudiantes de quinto nivel en el módulo de Intervención Psicosocial de la carrera de Terapia Ocupacional de la Universidad de La Frontera. Métodos: se realizó un estudio cualitativo, descriptivo, exploratorio, mediante estudio intrínseco de caso, muestra: no probabilística, intencionada, de casos por criterios y por conveniencia, conformada por 20 estudiantes, previa firma del consentimiento informado, se formaron dos grupos focales. Para el análisis de datos se utilizó reducción progresiva y agrupación en categorías descriptivas. Se utilizaron los criterios de rigor de Guba y aspectos éticos de Emanuel. Resultados: del Nivel I emergieron 332 unidades de significado, agrupadas en cuatro categorías descriptivas codificadas en función del objetivo del estudio: significado del concepto, desarrollo de competencias genéricas, factores facilitadores y obstaculizadores, destacan resolución de conflictos y aprendizaje continuo para la primera como competencias; para la segunda aprender haciendo y aprendizaje significativo; para la tercera apoyo docente y comunicación comunitaria; para la cuarta aspectos personales y relaciones interpersonales. Conclusiones: los estudiantes atribuyen un gran valor a la metodología aprendizaje y servicio, les permite desarrollar competencias relevantes para el uso profesional esenciales para el vínculo terapéutico, competencias genéricas visualizadas: resolución de conflicto, aprendizaje continuo y sentido crítico y reflexivo.


ABSTRACT Background: the training of Occupational Therapists of the Universidad de La Frontera is carried out through innovative curricula; therefore, it is committed to methodological strategies to develop critical and reflective thinking, teamwork with social responsibility, Learning and Service arises. Objective: to know the perception in relation to learning and service, in 5th level students in the psychosocial intervention module of the Occupational Therapy course at the University of La Frontera. Methods: qualitative, descriptive, exploratory study was carried out through an intrinsic case study. The non-probabilistic, intentional sample of cases by criteria and for convenience, made up of 20 students, after signing the informed consent, formed two focus groups. For data analysis, progressive reduction and grouping into descriptive categories was used. Guba's criteria of rigor and Emanuel's ethical aspects were used. Results: from Level I, 332 units of meaning emerged, grouped into 4 descriptive categories coded according to the objective of the study: meaning of the concept, development of generic competences, facilitating factors and impeding factors, conflict resolution and continuous learning for the first as competences; for the second, learning by doing and meaningful learning; for the third teaching aid and community communication; for the fourth personal aspects and interpersonal relationships. Conclusions: the students attribute great value to this Learning and Service methodology; it allows them to develop relevant competencies for essential professional use for the therapeutic bond, visualized generic competences: conflict resolution, continuous learning, and critical and reflective sense.

RESUMEN Fundamento: la infección del dengue puede cursar en forma asintomática o expresarse con un espectro clínico amplio que incluye las expresiones graves y las no graves. Objetivo: evaluar la intervención de Enfermería sobre conocimientos en dengue sustentada en la teoría de Swanson. Métodos: investigación cuantitativa de diseño pre experimental con pre y post test, contextualizada en el consultorio del médico y enfermera de la familia No. 5 del Policlínico Dr. Rudesindo Antonio García del Rijo del municipio y provincia Sancti Spíritus, desde noviembre 2018 a noviembre de 2019. Variables de estudio: nivel de conocimientos de los pacientes sobre dengue, edad, sexo, escolaridad. Se utilizó entrevista estructurada a los pacientes, para conocer el conocimiento sobre la enfermedad, después de aplicada la intervención se compararon las proporciones poblacionales mediante Prueba de McNemar. Resultados: el grupo más representativo estuvo comprendido entre las edades de 45-54 años y de sexo masculino. El nivel de escolaridad secundaria terminada representa la mayor cantidad de individuos. Una vez concluidas las actividades educativas los pacientes incluidos en la investigación alcanzaron resultados adecuados. Los resultados obtenidos son alentadores, se elevó el nivel de conocimientos de los pacientes después de la intervención. Conclusiones: la intervención de enfermería resultó efectiva en el incremento del nivel de conocimientos sobre dengue en pacientes de un consultorio médico de la familia.


ABSTRACT Background: Dengue infection can be asymptomatic or express itself with a broad clinical spectrum that includes severe and non-severe expressions. Objective: to evaluate the Nursing intervention on knowledge in dengue based on Swanson's theory. Methods: quantitative research of pre-experimental design with pre and post test, contextualized in the Family Physician and Nurse Office No. 5 of the Dr. Rudesindo Antonio García del Rijo Polyclinic of the municipality and province of Sancti Spíritus, in the period of November 2018 to November 2019. Study variables: level of knowledge of patients about dengue, age, sex, education. A structured interview with the patients was used to learn about the knowledge about the disease. After the intervention was applied, the population proportions were compared using the McNemar test. Results: the most representative group was between the ages of 45-54 years and male sex. The level of completed secondary schooling represents the largest number of individuals. Once the educational activities were completed, the patients included in the research achieved adequate results. The results obtained are encouraging, significantly raising the level of knowledge of the patients after the intervention. Conclusions: the nursing intervention was effective in increasing the level of knowledge about dengue in patients from a family doctor's office.

ABSTRACT Objective: to describe the use of the Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool to appraise and to strengthen the methodological rigor of mixed methods studies in nursing. Method: a theoretical essay was used to describe the application of Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool to support the development and assessment of mixed methods research in nursing. Four mixed methods articles in nursing were purposely chosen and evaluated based on the Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool criteria. Results: Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool is a tool for evaluating primary mixed methods studies based on five evaluation criteria: 1) justification for adopting mixed methods methodology; 2) integration between the quantitative and qualitative components; 3) interpretation of integrated findings of quantitative and qualitative data; 4) presentation of divergences between quantitative and qualitative results; and 5) compliance with the methodological rigor of each individual approach in mixed methods research. Conclusion: Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool is an instrumental resource that can be used to appraise mixed methods research and strengthen the methodological rigor in planning and conducting future mixed studies in nursing research.


RESUMEN Objetivo: describir el uso de la Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool para evaluación y fortalecimiento del rigor metodológico de estudios de métodos mixtos en enfermería. Método: se utilizó un ensayo teórico para describir la aplicación de la Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool para apoyar el desarrollo y evaluación de la investigación de métodos mixtos en enfermería. Se eligieron y evaluaron intencionalmente cuatro artículos de enfermería de métodos mixtos con base en los criterios del instrumento. Resultados: la Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool es una herramienta para evaluar estudios primarios seleccionados a partir de revisiones de literatura mixta, que evalúa cinco modalidades / categorías metodológicas, incluida la investigación de métodos mixtos. En la evaluación de estudios vinculados al paradigma de investigación mixta, se emplean cinco criterios de evaluación: 1) justificación de la adopción de métodos mixtos; 2) integración entre los componentes cuantitativo y cualitativo; 3) interpretación de la integración entre datos cuantitativos y cualitativos; 4) presentación de divergencias entre resultados cuantitativos y cualitativos; y 5) cumplimiento del rigor metodológico de cada enfoque de investigación mixta, de modo particular. Conclusión: la Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool es un recurso instrumental que puede fortalecer el rigor metodológico en la planificación y realización de estudios mixtos de investigación en Enfermería.


RESUMO Objetivo: descrever o uso da Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool para avaliação e fortalecimento do rigor metodológico de estudos de métodos mistos em enfermagem. Método: foi utilizado um ensaio teórico para descrever a aplicação da Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool no desenvolvimento e avaliação da pesquisa de métodos mistos em enfermagem. Quatro artigos de métodos mistos em enfermagem foram intencionalmente escolhidos e avaliados com base nos critérios do instrumento. Resultados: a Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool é uma ferramenta para avaliar estudos de métodos mistos primários com base em cinco critérios de avaliação: 1) justificativa para a adoção da metodologia de métodos mistos; 2) integração entre os componentes quantitativos e qualitativos; 3) interpretação de resultados integrados de dados quantitativos e qualitativos; 4) apresentação de divergências entre resultados quantitativos e qualitativos; e 5) conformidade com o rigor metodológico de cada abordagem individual na pesquisa de métodos mistos. Conclusão: a Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool é um recurso instrumental que pode ser usado para avaliar a pesquisa de métodos mistos e fortalecer o rigor metodológico no planejamento e na condução de futuros estudos mistos na pesquisa em enfermagem.
