ABSTRACT
Objective@#To investigate the effects of probiotics on liver function, glucose and lipids metabolism, fecal flora in children with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), and to further provide a reference for analyzing the feasibility and effectiveness of the treatment of NAFLD.@*Methods@#A total of 120 children with NAFLD during June 2017 to December 2018 in The Fenghua People’s Hospital of Ningbo were randomly divided into observation group and control group, 60 cases in each group. The control group received diet and exercise therapy, while the observation group received orally probiotics based on the control group, and the intervention lasted for 3 months. The indexes of liver function, glucose and lipids metabolism, the effective rate and imbalance of fecal flora in two groups were compared before and after intervention.@*Results@#Before treatment, there were no significant differences in alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), glutamine transferase (GGT), total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) and imbalance of fecal flora in two groups were compared before and after intervention (P>0.05). For the comparisons after treatment in two groups, including the ALT (30.49±11.03 vs 24.76±9.54)U/L, AST (37.66±12.91 vs 32.05±12.38)U/L, GGT (20.81±8.32 vs 16.07±6.69)U/L, TC (3.90±0.93 vs 3.41±0.87)mmol/L, TG (1.50±0.42 vs 1.14±0.40)mmol/L, HOMA-IR (1.46±0.53 vs 1.22±0.45), these parameters in observation group was higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=3.04,2.43,3.44,2.98,4.81,2.67,P<0.05); After treatment, the imbalance of fecal flora in the observation group was better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (Hc=8.34, P=0.02).@*Conclusion@#Probiotics are beneficial for liver function, glucose and lipid metabolism, fecal flora for NAFLD patients in children, so as to enhance the therapeutic effect of NAFLD.
ABSTRACT
Breast milk is the natural biological template for infants'nutrition. The quality of milk direct-ly affects the growth and development of infants.Breast milk provides not only essential nutrition for infants'growth and development, but various bioactive components, posing an effect on the development of gastrointesti-nal tract, nervous system and immune system of the breastfed infant. In recent years, studies have found that breast milk is one of the richest sources of microRNA(miRNA)compared with other body fluids. The miRNA is a kind of short chain noncoding nucleic acid, regulating gene expression at the post-transcriptional level.Potential effects of exogenous food-derived microRNAs on gene expression have been demonstrated, together with the sta-bility of milk-derived microRNAs in the gastrointestinal tract.Studies have found miRNA in breast milk is asso-ciated with immunomodulation, can regulate the metabolism and promote the growth and development. This pa-per reviews the absorption mechanisms and potential protection on breast-fed infants of miRNA in breast milk.
ABSTRACT
[Objective]To observe the curative effect of the Tangshen Particle on diabetes.[Methods] ICR mice were induced for diabetes by Alloxan intravenous injection, take Tangshen Particle and Xiaoke pill as the comparison group, observe each group’s glucose, lipid, renal index, urea, creatinine.[Results] The Tangshen Particle was able to decline glucose, lipid, renal index, urea, creatinine on diabetic mice, but the effect on high dose group was most obvious.[Conclusion] Tangshen Particle has good glucose-lowering and lipid-lowering effect on diabetic mice, and it has preventive and therapeutical effects on diabetic nephropathy .
ABSTRACT
The levels of lipoprotein-X in circulation increased with chronic administration of ethanol or acetaldehyde. A similar profile was seen in rat serum with alkaline phosphatase activity and bilirubin content. Total cholesterol, phospholipids and triglyceride contents increased followed by a decrease by progressive feeding with ethanol or acetaldehyde. The effect of acetaldehyde was more pronounced than that of ethanol.
ABSTRACT
AIM To observe the effects of improved prescription of Didang-tang (IPDT) on exprimental atherosclerosis(AS) in rabbits and study the possible mechanism. METHODS Lipid plaque area of aortic endothelium was measured by image analysis method. lipid metabolism was measured by enzyme dynamics method, one-step method and immunization photoextinction. Plasma SOD and MDA was measured by microcontent fast detecting method and modified Ba MuGuoFu method. Ceramide was measured by thinlayer scannig; apoptosis of foam cell of aorta lipid plaque was measured by TUNEL method.RESULTS IPDT reduced lipid plaque area of aortic endothelium, regulated lipid metabolism, improved antioxidation of organism, ced ceramide content of aorta lipid plaque and apoptosis of foam cell.CONCLUSION IPDT has good effects of anti-exprimental AS,the possible mechanism maybe related to regulation of lipid metabolism and antioxidation and depression of apoptosis of foam cell.
