ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT Introduction Research on the relationship between physical exercise and psychological stress, psychological barriers, and other negative psychological indicators has begun to turn to the relationship with positive psychological indicators, especially personal satisfaction. These tools from positive psychology may be useful for analyzing the subjective effects of physical exercise on college students' perceptions. Objective To verify the impact of physical exercise on college students' physical quality and personal satisfaction. Methods An exposition of the connotation of subjective well-being in college students and the internal relationship between physical exercise and college students' subjective well-being is given, and analyzes the impact of physical exercise on college students' subjective well-being and its psychological mechanism. Results as an important social group, college students are in a critical period of life, and their quality of life and mental health deserve attention. The influence of exercise on physical and mental health has become a consensus. Conclusion Physical exercise can reduce not only stress attacks but also promote the development of mental health and personal satisfaction in college students. RESUMO Introdução A pesquisa sobre a relação entre exercício físico e estresse psicológico, barreiras psicológicas e outros indicadores psicológicos negativos começou a se voltar para a relação com os indicadores psicológicos positivos, especialmente a satisfação pessoal. Essas ferramentas da psicologia positiva podem ser úteis para analisar os efeitos subjetivos do exercício físico sobre a percepção dos estudantes universitários. Objetivo Verificar o impacto do exercício físico na qualidade física dos estudantes universitários e de sua satisfação pessoal. Métodos É feita uma exposição da conotação do bem-estar subjetivo nos estudantes universitários e a relação interna entre o exercício físico e o bem-estar subjetivo dos estudantes universitários, e analisa o impacto do exercício físico no bem-estar subjetivo dos estudantes universitários e seu mecanismo psicológico. Resultados como um grupo social importante, os estudantes universitários estão em um período crítico de vida, e sua qualidade de vida e saúde mental merecem atenção. A influência do exercício físico sobre a saúde física e mental tornou-se um consenso. Conclusão O exercício físico pode não apenas reduzir os ataques de estresse, mas também promover o desenvolvimento da saúde mental e satisfação pessoal dos estudantes universitários. Nível de evidência II; Estudos terapêuticos - investigação dos resultados do tratamento.


RESUMEN Introducción La investigación sobre la relación entre el ejercicio físico y el estrés psicológico, las barreras psicológicas y otros indicadores psicológicos negativos ha comenzado a dirigirse a la relación con los indicadores psicológicos positivos, especialmente la satisfacción personal. Estas herramientas de la psicología positiva pueden ser útiles para analizar los efectos subjetivos del ejercicio físico en las percepciones de los estudiantes universitarios. Objetivo Verificar el impacto del ejercicio físico en la calidad física y la satisfacción personal de los estudiantes universitarios. Métodos Se hace una exposición de la connotación del bienestar subjetivo en los estudiantes universitarios y la relación interna entre el ejercicio físico y el bienestar subjetivo de los estudiantes universitarios, y se analiza el impacto del ejercicio físico en el bienestar subjetivo de los estudiantes universitarios y su mecanismo psicológico. Resultados como grupo social importante, los estudiantes universitarios se encuentran en un período crítico de la vida, y su calidad de vida y salud mental merecen atención. La influencia del ejercicio físico en la salud física y mental se ha convertido en un consenso. Conclusión El ejercicio físico no sólo puede reducir los ataques de estrés, sino también promover el desarrollo de la salud mental y la satisfacción personal en los estudiantes universitarios. Aim: to evaluate the association of the patients' perception about dentist's affect and cognition on trust and, consequently, on intention to return and patient satisfaction with life. Methods: Analytical cross-sectional study conducted in patients' adults and elderly at of two dentistry clinics in the south of Brazil. Patients had to have a previous relationship with the dentist (at least one previous consult) and 18 years of age or older. The data were collected through self-administrated questionnaire using measures adapted from other research, using structural equation modeling. We test using a chi-square difference test (p-value<0,05). Results: The mean age of the 197 patients was 37.0 years (σ = 15.5). The affect perceived by the patient at the dentist had a positive effect (ß = .53) on the trust that the patient develops in relation to the dentist. The same is true for the effect of the rational or cognitive aspects perceived by the patient at the dentist (ß = .41). The trust positively influences the patient's intention to return to that dentist (ß = .82). In addition, the intention to return to the dentist positively influences the patient's satisfaction with life (ß = .49). Conclusions: Affective and cognitive aspects positively influenced the patient's trust in the dentist. The greater the patient's trust in the dentist, the greater the intention to return to that dentist. Furthermore, a good relationship with the dentist improve the patient's satisfaction with life

ABSTRACT Introduction: The objective of this study is to explore the impacts of Omaha System-based continuing care on medication compliance, quality of life (QOL), and prognosis of coronary heart disease (CHD) patients after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods: A total of 100 CHD patients who were hospitalized and received PCI were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group, 50 patients per group, according to a random number table method. The control group was given routine care, while the observation group was applied Omaha System-based continuing care on the basis of the control group. Results: Follow-up demonstrated that the Morisky-Green score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.001), indicating that the medication compliance of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.001). The short form-36 (SF-36) scores were notably higher after nursing compared with on admission; SF-36 scores of the observation group were significantly increased than those of the control group (P<0.001). The incidence of major adverse cardiac event (MACE) in the observation group was significantly lower than in the control group (P<0.001). The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was considerably higher than that of the control group (P<0.01). Conclusion: Omaha System-based continuing care could improve the medication compliance and QOL, reduce the incidence of MACE, and benefit the prognosis of CHD patients after PCI.

Abstract Objective To assess the satisfaction of patients undergoing hand surgery in relation to their hospitalization, their feelings, and the consequences resulting from the surgical procedure as well as to evaluate their opinion and feelings in relation to the surgical procedure and to detect possible weaknesses in the health care of patients undergoing hand surgery. Method Cross-sectional observational clinical study, with a quali-quantitative focus, carried out in an outpatient clinic of a teaching hospital specialized in hand care, with patients of both genders, aged 18 to 75 years, who have undergone corrective surgical procedures of hand pathologies in the last 5 years. Results We obtained a total of 54 participants, 26 females and 28 males, with a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum of 73 years. Patient satisfaction for the 11 moments evaluated had means between 8 and 10, showing great satisfaction. For the other five moments evaluated, the means were between five and eight. We did not get any satisfaction average below fivr. Conclusion The absolute satisfaction of patients undergoing hand surgery is dependent on the humanization of health care, especially in relation to surgical consequences, which require further follow-up. The surgical consequences that require greater follow-up and hinder the routine activities of patients are pain on hand mobilization, limitation of the range of motion, and parathesthesia; thus, proper management of these complaints leads to greater satisfaction.


Resumo Objetivo Determinar a satisfação dos pacientes submetidos a cirurgia de mão em relação a sua internação, seus sentimentos, e as consequências decorrentes do procedimento cirúrgico bem como avaliar sua opinião e seus sentimentos em relação ao procedimento cirúrgico e detectar possíveis fragilidades na atenção à saúde do paciente submetido a cirurgia de mão. Método Estudo clínico observacional de corte transversal, com enfoque quali-quantitativo, realizado em um ambulatório especializado em cuidado da mão de um hospital de ensino, com os pacientes de ambos os gêneros, com idade de 18 a 75 anos, que tenham sido submetidos a procedimentos cirúrgicos corretivos de patologias da mão nos últimos 5 anos. Resultados Obtivemos o total de 54 participantes, sendo 26 do sexo feminino e 28 do sexo masculino, com idade mínima de 18 anos e máxima de 73 anos. Em relação à satisfação dos pacientes em 11 momentos avaliados, as médias foram entre 8 e 10, mostrando grande satisfação. Para os outros cinco momentos avaliados, as médias ficaram entre cinco e oito. Não obtivemos nenhuma média de satisfação abaixo de cinco. Conclusão A satisfação absoluta dos pacientes submetidos à cirurgia de mão é dependente da humanização da assistência à saúde, principalmente em relação às consequências cirúrgicas, que demandam maior acompanhamento. As consequências cirúrgicas que demandam maior acompanhamento e que dificultam as atividades rotineiras dos pacientes são dor à mobilização da mão, limitação do arco de movimento, e parestesia; assim, o manejo adequado dessas queixas leva à maior satisfação.

ABSTRACT

Abstract This study investigates whether trust in government policies has a mediation effect between the students' perception of COVID-19 health risk and their life satisfaction. In order to test the mediation effect, this study utilizes data collected from undergraduate students at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico by means of online survey. The survey yielded 95 usable data out of 97. The valid results were tested via generalized linear model (GLM) Mediation approach for the mediation. Empirical findings of Delta method affirm the mediation (estimate = 0.4445, β = 0.474, z = 3.699, p < .001) role of trust in government as a mediator between students' perception of COVID-19 health risk and their life satisfaction. In other words, Mexican undergraduate students are of the view that trusting government plays a crucial role as a mediator between their perception of coronavirus health risk and life satisfaction. These findings may guide the governments' policy making efforts and motivate them to support their initiatives with trust-building efforts.


Resumo Este estudo investiga se a confiança nas políticas governamentais tem um efeito de mediação na percepção dos estudantes sobre o risco de saúde da COVID-19 e a satisfação de vida. A fim de testar o efeito de mediação, o estudo utiliza dados recolhidos de estudantes universitários do Tecnológico de Monterrey, no México. O inquérito produziu 95 dados utilizáveis de um total de 97. Os resultados válidos foram testados por meio da abordagem de mediação do modelo linear generalizado (GLM). Os resultados empíricos do método Delta afirmam (estimativa = 0,4445, β = 0,474, z = 3,699, p < .001) o papel de confiança no governo como mediador entre a percepção dos estudantes sobre o risco de saúde da COVID-19 e sua satisfação de vida. Em outras palavras, para os estudantes de graduação mexicanos a confiança no governo desempenha papel crucial como mediador entre suas percepções sobre o risco de saúde do coronavírus e a satisfação de vida. As conclusões do estudo podem orientar os esforços dos governos na elaboração de políticas e motivá-los a apoiar iniciativas de criação de confiança.

Resumen El objetivo del presente estudio fue relacionar el grado de satisfacción que tuvieron los graduados con el enfoque de supervisión durante el desarrollo de la tesis de licenciatura. Se diseñó un estudio transversal que incluyó 102 estudiantes graduados de la Facultad de Odontología de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Lima. Perú. Se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta que recopiló información sobre la satisfacción de la supervisión (valorado en una puntuación de 1 a 6, donde puntajes mayores evidenciaron mayor satisfacción) de la tesis y el enfoque del supervisor. Se encontró que el 59% de los supervisores tuvieron un enfoque colaborativo, un 29,6% un enfoque no directivo. Los supervisores colaborativos obtuvieron una mayor puntuación de satisfacción (5,2±0,7) mientras que el enfoque directivo obtuvo la menor puntuación (3,3±0,5) (p<0,05). Las mujeres presentaron una mayor puntuación de satisfacción (5,4±0,2 vs 4,8±0,4) (p<0,05). Se concluye que existe una relación entre el estilo de supervisión colaborativo y una mayor satisfacción del estudiante con el proceso de la tesis. Los estudiantes indican que un estilo directivo presenta menor satisfacción con la supervisión de la tesis.


Abstract The objective of this study was to relate the degree of satisfaction that graduates had with the supervisory approach during the development of the undergraduate thesis. A cross-sectional study, including 102 graduate students from the Faculty of Dentistry of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Lima. Peru. The survey technique was used to collect information on the satisfaction of the thesis supervision (valued on a score from 1 to 6, where higher scores showed greater satisfaction) and the supervisors approach. Results showed that 59% of supervisors had a collaborative approach, 29.6% a non-directive approach. Collaborative supervisors obtained a higher satisfaction score (5.2±0.7) while the directive approach obtained the lowest score (3.3±0.5) (p<0.05). Women presented a higher satisfaction score (5.4±0.2 vs 4.8±0.4) (p<0.05). There is a relationship between the collaborative supervision style and greater student satisfaction during the thesis process. Students indicated being less satisfied with the managerial supervision style of the thesis.

ABSTRACT

The aim was to assess the impact of Instagram's usage on young women's satisfaction with their body image and self-esteem. This is a quantitative cross-sectional study. A total of 329 women using Instagram, aged 18-24, answered this online survey. The data collection was through the RedCap platform. The research was published on social networks and was requested that other people would share on theirs. The method used was a non-probabilistic sample in order to reach as many participants as possible. The results showed that those who reported access to inspirational fitness content most frequently and compared themselves to other users showed decreased body satisfaction and self-esteem. Those who spend more than 2 hours per day on Instagram increased subjective feelings of salience and body fat perception.


O objetivo foi avaliar o impacto do uso do Instagram e a satisfação com sua imagem corporal e autoestima em mulheres jovens. Este é um estudo transversal quantitativo. Um total de 329 mulheres que usam o Instagram, com idades entre 18 e 24 anos, responderam a esta pesquisa online. A coleta de dados ocorreu por meio da plataforma RedCap. O método utilizado foi uma amostra não probabilística para atingir o maior número de participantes possível. Os resultados mostraram que aquelas que relataram acesso a conteúdos inspiracional fitness com maior frequência e se compararam a outras usuárias apresentaram diminuição da satisfação corporal e da autoestima. Aqueles que passam mais de 2 horas por dia no Instagram aumentaram a sensação subjetiva de saliência e a percepção da gordura corporal.

Introducción: la satisfacción con la calidad en la atención de enfermería por parte del paciente es el resultado de la relación profesional entre la enfermera y el paciente. Objetivo: evaluar la satisfacción con la calidad en la atención de enfermería de los pacientes de hemodiálisis de un hospital de especialidades en Sonora. Metodología: estudio cuantitativo, observacional, descriptivo, transversal y prospectivo, realizado mediante la aplicación del cuestionario SERVQHOS-E, que consta de 16 ítems y una encuesta de opinión y sirve para medir la satisfacción del paciente y la calidad percibida de la atención de enfermería. El análisis de datos se hizo con estadística descriptiva, frecuencias relativas y absolutas. Resultados: se estudiaron 146 pacientes. En cuanto a percepción de la calidad de la atención de enfermería, 99.3% estuvieron satisfechos y solo 0.7% estuvieron insatisfechos. En relación con la satisfacción global, el 100% se manifestaron satisfechos y 99.3% de los pacientes recomendaría el servicio. Conclusión: los pacientes con hemodiálisis de un hospital de especialidades en Sonora se encuentran satisfechos.


Introduction: Patient satisfaction with the quality of nursing care is the result of the professional relationship between nurse and patient. Objective: To assess patient satisfaction with hemodialysis as relates to the quality of nursing care in a specialty hospital in Sonora. Methodology: observational, descriptive, cross-sectional and prospective study, which was carried out using the SERVQHOS-E questionnaire, which consists of 16 items and one survey and measures the patient satisfaction and the perceived quality about nursing care. Data analysis was completed through descriptive statistics, relative and absolute frequencies. Results: 146 patients were studied. Concerning the perceived quality of nursing care, 99.3% were satisfied and only 0.7% reported dissatisfaction. Regarding global satisfaction, 100% of patients expressed satisfaction with their stay and 99.3% would recommend the services received to others. Conclusion: Hemodialysis patients at a specialty hospital in Sonora are satisfied.

ABSTRACT

Resumen Una de las industrias más destacadas de la economía mexicana es la restaurantera. Su importancia, debido a su número de empresas, creación de empleos y emprendimientos, ha ocasionado que se genere un alto índice de competitividad. Esto provoca que se busquen estrategias para mejorar la calidad del servicio que ofrecen, con el propósito de retener y atraer clientes. El objetivo de este trabajo fue identificar los factores que conforman la percepción de la calidad en el servicio en un restaurante mexicano. Para ello, se utilizó el instrumento DINESERV, mediante un enfoque cuantitativo y un análisis factorial confirmatorio. Los resultados mostraron que el instrumento DINESERV es válido para restaurantes mexicanos. Asimismo, se detectaron los factores que integran el servicio al cliente, enfatizando los aspectos de tangibilidad, confiabilidad, respuesta y empatía. Características como personal competente y con experiencia, tener siempre presente los intereses del cliente y la apariencia de la vestimenta y limpieza del personal de servicio son elementos clave para que el restaurante genere mayor satisfacción en sus clientes.


Abstract One of the most prominent industries in the Mexican economy is the restaurant industry. Its importance, due to the number of companies, job creation and business ventures, has caused a high competitiveness index to be generated. This causes the search of strategies to be sought to improve the quality of the service they offer, in order to retain and attract customers. The objective of this work was to identify the factors that comprise service quality perception in a Mexican restaurant. For that purpose, we employed the DINESERV instrument, through a quantitative approach and a confirmatory factor analysis. Results showed that the DINESERV instrument is valid for Mexican restaurants. Likewise, the factors that make up customer service were identified, emphasizing the aspects such as tangibility, reliability, response and empathy. Factors such as competent and experienced staff, always keeping in mind the interests of the client, the appearance of the service personnel´s clothing and cleanliness are key elements for the restaurant to generate greater satisfaction in its customers.

ABSTRACT BACKGROUND: Workplaces can be sources of mental distress. In healthcare services, this can also affect patients. OBJECTIVE: To assess the prevalence of and factors associated with depressive symptoms, burnout, job satisfaction and patient safety culture and the relationships between these constructs, among healthcare workers. DESIGN AND SETTING: Cross-sectional study in a university hospital in Manaus, Brazil. METHODS: Randomly selected workers were interviewed based on Brazilian-validated tools. We calculated the prevalence ratio (PR) and 95% confidence interval (CI) of depressive symptoms and burnout using Poisson regression with robust variance; and the β-coefficient of safety culture and job satisfaction using linear regression. Outcome relationships were assessed using partial least-squares structural equation modeling. RESULTS: 300 professionals were included; 67.3% were women. The prevalence of depressive symptom was 19.0% (95% CI: 14.5; 23.5%) and burnout, 8.7% (95% CI: 5.2; 12.3%). Lack of work stability increased depression (PR = 1.88; 95% CI: 1.17; 3.01) and burnout (PR = 2.17; 95% CI: 1.03; 4.57); and reduced job satisfaction (β = -11.93; 95% CI: -18.79; -5.07). Depressive symptoms and burnout were positively correlated, as also were job satisfaction and safety culture (P < 0.001); job satisfaction was negatively correlated with burnout (P < 0.001) and depression (P = 0.035). CONCLUSION: Impermanent employment contracts increased depression and burnout and reduced job satisfaction. Job satisfaction reduced poor mental health outcomes and increased safety culture. Job satisfaction and safety culture were directly proportional (one construct increased the other and vice versa), as also were depression and burnout. Better working conditions can provide a virtuous cycle of patient safety and occupational health.

Resumen La violencia en las parejas adolescentes es un tema de especial importancia por la implicación en la salud y en las relaciones afectivas de los adolescentes. El propósito de este estudio fue determinar la influencia del género y de la religión en la violencia física, de comunicación/relación y psicológica, recibidas por los adolescentes, y en la satisfacción con la vida que estos presentan, además, del papel que juegan las conductas sexistas en esta violencia. Los participantes han sido 1 036 adolescentes pertenecientes a siete centros de educación secundaria del sudeste español, de edades comprendidas entre 14 y 19 años, de los que el 48.1 % eran hombres y el 51.9 %, mujeres. Para alcanzar los objetivos de la investigación, junto con los datos demográficos y personales, se aplicó la Escala de Satisfacción con la Vida (SWLS), la Escala de Violencia en la pareja desarrollada y validada para este estudio que recoge tres subescalas: violencia psicológica, violencia física, y violencia en la comunicación y relación con otros. Finalmente, el cuestionario sobre conductas sexistas da información sobre creencias falsas y conductas sexistas. Los resultados muestran niveles más altos de violencia física, psicológica y de comunicación/relación sufrida por los hombres. Aunque son los hombres los que se sienten más satisfechos con la vida y los que manifiestan más conductas sexistas. La creencia religiosa no interviene en la violencia ejercida, pero son los adolescentes practicantes los que se muestran más satisfechos con la vida.


Abstract Teen dating violence is defined as the physical, sexual, psycho-emotional violence that occurs within couple relationships during adolescence. These are relationships that threaten the well-being, health or integrity of the couple and that use mechanisms of control or domination of the couple through coactive or coercive tactics. With this research we have tried to find out about life satisfaction, the physical, psychological and communicative violence suffered by adolescent men and women who are religious or not. In addition, detect sexist behaviours in young people of both sexes and assess behaviours based on religious practice. A descriptive, cross-sectional and predictive study was carried out. Cluster random sampling was carried out when selecting secondary schools in South-eastern Spain. The study included 1 036 adolescents with ages between 14 and 19 years old, of whom 48.1 % were men and 51.9 % women. To fulfill the objectives together with demographic and personal data, the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) is applied, which assesses the cognitive aspects of well-being. The Psychological Violence Scale is applied with the objective of assessing the psychological and emotional violence. To know the physical violence and authoritarian behaviour, the Physical Violence Scale is applied. Finally, the Violence in Communication and Relationship with Others Scale is introduced for studying online violence and relationship violence. The three violence scales have been adapted, developed and validated by Soriano and Aguilera (2017). Finally, the questionnaire on sexist behaviours collects information on false beliefs and sexist behaviours. The data collection procedure followed the standards set out in the Helsinki Convention (2013) for scientific research involving human participants. Regarding the results, in the first of the logistic regression models, it is good for boys to go out with many girls, but not the other way around (Wald = 14.461; p = .000; OR = 4.047), it is observed to be that boys are 4.047 times more likely to agree with this attitude than girls. Also, it is statistically significant that sometimes you have to threaten others to know who is in charge, (Wald = 8.107; p = .004; OR = 2.173), which indicates that the boys are 2.173 times more likely in accordance with that conduct that the girls. It is also statistically significant that when a woman is assaulted by her partner she will have done something to provoke him, (Wald = 16.315; p = .000; OR = 3.538), making it 3.538 times more likely that boys support this attitude than girls. At the same time, it is statistically significant that the violence that occurs within the home is a family matter and should not leave there, (Wald = 4.132; p = .042; OR = 1.694), which also indicates that boys are 1.694 times more likely to adopt this behaviour than girls. Regarding the perception of violence, it is observed that men perceive more violence than women, being significant for the three types of violence studied (p < .05): Communication, psychological and physical. Personal satisfaction also shows significant results (Z = -2.61; p = .009). In this case, men perceive greatersatisfaction with their life than women. For students with religious beliefs and practices, statistically significant results were evident only in personal satisfaction (Z = -3.42; p = .001), showing that students who practice a religion have more satisfaction with life. The results show higher levels of physical, psychological and communication / relationship violence suffered by men. However, men feel more satisfation with life and show more sexist behaviour. Religious belief does not intervene in violence, but the practicing adolescents are those most satisfied with life.

Resumen La presente investigación analiza la prevalencia de burnout y los factores de riesgo asociados a nivel demográfico, laboral, apoyo social percibido, ansiedad y satisfacción laboral en el colectivo de trabajadores/as sociales en España. Se partió de la hipótesis que suponía que un mayor apoyo social percibido disminuye el burnout; que una mayor ansiedad estaría vinculada a aumentar su presencia; y que una mayor satisfacción laboral estaría vinculada a una menor incidencia de burnout. La muestra de estudio estuvo compuesta por un total de 252 trabajadores/as sociales, de los que el 88.5 % (n = 223) eran mujeres, y el 11.5 % (n = 29) eran hombres, de los Colegios Profesionales de Trabajo Social de Sevilla y Murcia. Se recogió información sobre variables demográficas, laborales, apoyo social percibido (mediante el Duke-UNC Functional Social Support Questionnaire), síntomas de ansiedad (Generalized Anxiety Disorder), satisfacción laboral (Overall Job Satisfaction) y burnout.Maslach Burnout Inventory). La investigación demostró que, en función de la prevalencia de burnout, un 46.8 % (n = 118) mostraba un alto cansancio emocional; un 56.7 % (n = 143), una elevada despersonalización; y un 62.3 % (n = 157), baja realización personal. Determinadas variables se asocian, de manera estadísticamente significativa, a las diferentes dimensiones de burnout, específicamente: mayor edad, antigüedad laboral, ansiedad, menor apoyo social percibido y satisfacción laboral. Los presentes resultados ponen de manifiesto el grado de insatisfacción entre los trabajadores/as sociales de España, lo cual hace un llamamiento a otros investigadores/as a analizar los factores de protección que pueden amortiguar la aparición y los efectos negativos del burnout, y a llevar a cabo estrategias de prevención destinadas a reducir esta problemática global.


Abstract Burnout, defined with its most agreed upon definition, given in 1982 by Christina Maslach (Maslach Burnout Inventory), is a prolonged response to chronic emotional and interpersonal stressors on the job. Individuals suffering from burnout experience emotional exhaustion, depersonalization of clients, and reduced feelings of personal accomplishment. The well-documented day-to-day and long-term experiences of job stress and burnout among social services institutions increasingly raise concerns among leaders, policy makers and scholars. In this senses, previous research conducted internationally has shown a high prevalence of burnout among Social Workers collective. The burnout in Social Work is related to three types of factors: individual (seniority, gender, training and qualification, personality attributes, etc.), organizational (role stress, uncertainty, work overload, lack of human resources, etc.), and contextual. However, it is not frequent to find studies that analyze this occupational health problem in Spain. Current research explores the prevalence of burnout (using the Maslach Burnout Inventory) and associated risk factors like the demographic, occupational, perceived social support (Duke-UNC Functional Social Support Questionnaire), anxiety (Generalized Anxiety Disorder) and job satisfaction levels (Overall Job Satisfaction) among social workers in Spain. Higher perceived social support decreases; higher anxiety is linked to higher burnout, and higher job satisfaction is linked to lower burnout incidence. Participants: the study's sample was composed of a total of 252 subjects, of which 88.5 % (n = 223) were women, and 11.5 % (n = 29) were men, all social workers from the Professional Associations of Social Work of Seville and Murcia, with an average age of 40.7 years. The information was collected online via the Google Questionnaire application at the end of 2017. The questionnaire was divided into four different blocks: demographic (including age, sex, marital status and number of children) and labor (seniority, employment sector and employment context ) variables; perceived social support (Duke-UNC functional social support questionnaire); Generalized Anxiety disorder scale (GAD 7); Overall Job Satisfaction questionnaire; and burnout (Maslach Burnout Inventory), whose 22 questions measure emotional exhaustion, low depersonalization and personal fulfillment. Based on the prevalence of burnout, 46.8 % (n = 118) showed high emotional exhaustion, 56.7 % (n = 143) high depersonalization and 62.3 % (n = 157) low personal achievement. Likewise, after logistic regression analysis, it is observed how certain variables are statistically significantly associated with the different dimensions of burnout, specifically, emotional exhaustion was associated with older age (OR = 1.028; p = .038), work seniority (OR = 1.032; p = .038) and job satisfaction (OR = .978; p = .009). High depersonalization was positively associated with working in social services (OR = 1.726; p = .018), perceived social support (OR = .969; p = .026) and anxiety (OR = 1.213; p = .037). Finally, low personal achievement was statistically associated with perceived social support (OR = .969; p = .026) and anxiety (OR = 1.213; p = .037). Current results could be effective when carrying out prevention strategies aimed at reducing the problem of burnout among Social Work professionals in Spain. The socio-economic and political context of Spain characterized by austerity in recent years has negatively affected the public sector and social services through restrictions on access to rights, precarious working conditions for social workers, reduction of templates and work teams, elimination of public services and benefits, progressive privatization and reduction of budgets for social policies, increasing the workload of social workers in Spain. Current results show the degree of dissatisfaction among social workers in Spain, calling on other researchers to analyze the protective factors that can cushion the appearance and negative effects of burnout.

Abstract Materialism has been recognized as an important variable in postmodern societies; however, most of the studies on this concept have focused on the adult population. The aim of the present study is to determine the possible association between materialism and life satisfaction, and the possible mediating role of attitudes towards money and peer influence in this association, in a sample of Chilean adolescents. A sample of 1325 Chilean secondary school students completed a questionnaire measuring materialism, attitudes in regards with money, susceptibility to peer influence, and satisfaction with life. First, a confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to validate the scalers. Secondly, a theoretical model was tested using Hayes (2013) SPSS macro, PROCESS. The theoretical model included materialism as the predictor variable, satisfaction with life as the predicted variable, and attitudes towards money and susceptibility to peer influence as mediator variables. Results indicate that materialistic attitudes regarding money strengthens a negative relation between materialism and satisfaction with life. This tendency is not observed in susceptibility to peer influence despite being positively associated with materialism and attitudes regarding money. These findings suggest that the variables materialism and attitudes regarding money play a relevant role in the life satisfaction of Chilean adolescents.


Resumen El materialismo se ha reconocido como una variable importante en sociedades posmodernas, sin embargo, la mayor parte de los estudios respecto a este concepto se han centrado en población adulta. El objetivo del presente estudio es determinar la posible asociación entre materialismo y satisfacción con la vida, y el posible rol mediador de las actitudes hacia el dinero y la influencia de pares en dicha asociación, en una muestra de adolescentes chilenos 1325 estudiantes de secundaria completaron un cuestionario que media materialismo, actitudes hacia el dinero, susceptibilidad a la influencia de pares, y satisfacción con la vida. En primer lugar, se realizó un análisis factorial confirmatorio para validar las escalas utilizadas. En segundo lugar, se probó un modelo teórico utilizando la macro PROCESS de SPSS de Hayes (2013). El modelo teórico consideró materialismo como variable predictora, satisfacción con la vida como variable predicha, y actitudes hacia el dinero, y susceptibilidad a la influencia de pares como variables mediadoras. Los resultados indican que actitudes materialistas hacia el dinero fortalecen una asociación negativa entre materialismo y satisfacción con la vida. Esta tendencia no se observa en susceptibilidad a la influencia de pares a pesar de estar asociada positivamente con materialismo y actitudes hacia el dinero. Estos Hallazgos sugieren que las variables materialismo y actitudes hacia el dinero juegan un rol relevante en la satisfacción con la vida de adolescentes chilenos.

Objetivo: compreender como a espiritualidade pode influenciar de forma positiva no bem-estar das mulheres com câncer de mama. Método: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura realizada nas bases de dados SCIELO, BDENF e Google Acadêmico sendo selecionados 12 artigos. Para a pergunta norteadora, utilizou-se a estratégia PICO e, para análise dos resultados, foi utilizado o fluxograma PRISMA. As buscas abrangeram o período de 2017 a 2021. Resultados: foi evidenciado que a espiritualidade se apresenta como recurso terapêutico viável para o enfrentamento do câncer de mama atuando na potencialização das terapias reabilitadoras e restabelecendo a tranquilidade e confiança na assistência à saúde prestada pelos profissionais de saúde. Conclusão: a rede de apoio, assistência dos familiares e equipe de saúde aliados ao cuidado espiritual se tornam partes fundamentais deste processo possibilitando o percurso menos doloroso(AU)


Objective: to understand how spirituality can positively influence the well-being of women with breast cancer. Method: this is an integrative review of the literature carried out in the SCIELO, BDENF and Google Scholar databases, being selected 12 articles. For the guiding question, the PICO strategy was used and the PRISMA flowchart was used to analyze the results. The searches covered the period from 2017 to 2021. Results: it was evidenced that the spirituality presents itself as a viable therapeutic resource for the confrontation of the breast cancer acting in the potentiation of rehabilitating therapies and reestablishing the tranquility and confidence in the health care provided by the professionals health. Conclusion: the support network, assistance of family members and health team allied to spiritual care become fundamental parts of this process making the path less painful.(AU)

RESUMEN Introducción: La calidad del sueño es fundamental para lograr el buen funcionamiento mental y físico, siendo más importante en médicos residentes, donde son sometidos a exigencias laboral y académica por lo que se ven afectados el rendimiento profesional y académico. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la calidad del sueño y la satisfacción laboral en médicos residentes del Hospital Militar Central en el periodo 2021. Metodología: Estudio observacional, descriptivo, corte transversal. No probabilístico por conveniencia. Se incluyeron médicos residentes del Hospital Militar Central en el periodo 2021. Para el cruce de variables nominales entre sí se utilizó la prueba de chi cuadrado. Para la determinación de la correlación entre las variables nominales y cuantitativas se utilizó el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson y se consideró una p0,05) y Odds Ratio= 5,5. Conclusión: Existe una asociación significativa para la calidad del sueño y la satisfacción laboral de los médicos residentes. Se encontró que la calidad del sueño mejora con la mayor cantidad de horas trabajadas; sin embargo, se analizó que, a mayores horas de trabajo, aumenta la insatisfacción laboral para los médicos residentes.


ABSTRACT Introduction: The quality of sleep is essential to achieve good mental and physical functioning, being more important in resident doctors, where they are subjected to work and academic demands for which professional and academic performance are affected. Objective: To determine the relationship between sleep quality and job satisfaction in resident doctors of the Central Military Hospital in the period 2021. Methods: Observational, descriptive, cross-sectional study. Non-probabilistic for convenience. Resident physicians of the Central Military Hospital were included in the 2021 period. The chi-square test was used to cross-match nominal variables. To determine the correlation between the nominal and quantitative variables, Pearson's correlation coefficient was used and p 0.05) and Odds Ratio = 5.5. Conclusion: There is a significant association for the quality of sleep and job satisfaction of resident physicians. It was found that the quality of sleep improves with the greater number of hours worked; however, it was analyzed that, with longer working hours, job dissatisfaction increases for resident physicians.

Introdução: A telemedicina facilita o acesso ao cuidado para os pacientes. Essa tecnologia tem apresentado bons resultados clínicos e de satisfação dos usuários. A satisfação é um dos principais indicadores de qualidade dos serviços, e sua avaliação permite mudanças na qualidade da prestação de cuidados, identifica problemas e viabiliza a melhor gestão e os melhores comportamentos dos profissionais de saúde. Do aumento do uso da telemedicina no mundo emergiu a necessidade de entendimento da qualidade desse serviço. Objetivo: Traduzir, adaptar culturalmente e validar um questionário para avaliação da satisfação de pacientes atendidos por telemedicina. Métodos:A versão adaptada após a avaliação por um comitê de juízes foi utilizada em pré-teste com 30 pacientes atendidos no projeto TeleOftalmo. Os resultados do pré-teste foram avaliados a fim de se obter uma versão adequada do instrumento. Além disso, o instrumento foi aplicado em uma amostra de 141 pacientes atendidos via telemedicina. Análises de consistência interna e de validação de constructo foram realizadas. Resultados: O coeficiente de validade de conteúdo (CVC) global foi 0,942, demonstrando clareza, pertinência e relevância das questões. O instrumento apresentou consistência interna com alfa de Cronbach estandardizado de 0,6, considerado aceitável. A análise fatorial exploratória apresentou critério de Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin de adequação de amostragem de 0,56 e o teste de esfericidade de Bartlett apresentou valor de 0,001. Conclusões: A versão brasileira do Questionário de Avaliação da Satisfação de Pacientes Atendidos via Telemedicina (QAS-Tele) é um instrumento fácil e viável para a avaliação da satisfação dos pacientes atendidos por telemedicina.


Introduction: Telemedicine facilitates the care in health by distance. This health technology has shown good clinical results and user satisfaction. The satisfaction is a main indication of service quality, your evaluation allows changes in the quality of care, identifies problems and enables better management and behaviors of health professionals. The increase in the use of telemedicine in the world has emerged in a need to understand the quality of this service. Objective: To translate, culturally adapt and validate a questionnaire to assess the satisfaction of patients treated by telemedicine. Methods: The version adapted after evaluation by a committee of judges was used in a pre-test with 30 patients seen in the project. The results of the pre-test were evaluated in order to obtain an adequate version of the instrument. In addition, this questionnaire was applied to a sample of 141 patients treated via telemedicine. Analysis of internal consistency and construct validation were performed. Results: The Global Content Validity Coefficient (CVC) score was 0.942, demonstrating the questions' clarity, relevance and relevance. The instrument showed internal consistency with a standardized Cronbach's alpha of 0.6; considered acceptable. The exploratory factor analysis showed a KMO of 0.56 and Bartlett's sphericity test showed a value of 0.001. Conclusions: The Brazilian version of the Questionnaire for the Evaluation of Patient Satisfaction Via Telemedicine (QAS-Tele) is an easy and viable instrument for the evaluation of the satisfaction of patients treated by telemedicine.

La satisfacción es uno de los principales indicativos de la calidad de los servicios, su evaluación permite cambios en la calidad de la atención, identifica problemas y posibilita mejor gestión y comportamiento de los profesionales. El aumento del uso de la telemedicina en el mundo ha sugerido el entendimiento de la cualidad de esos servicios. Objetivo: Traducir, adaptar culturalmente y validar un cuestionario para evaluación de la satisfacción de pacientes atendidos por telemedicina. Métodos: Se desarrolló una evaluación por un comité de jueces con la versión adaptada y después se llevó a cabo un pre-test con 30 pacientes atendidos en el proyecto TeleOftalmo. La prueba previa ocurrió para obtener una versión adecuada del instrumento. Además, se aplicó en una muestra de 141 pacientes atendidos vía telemedicina. Análisis de consistencia interna y de validación de constructo fueron realizadas. Resultados: El coeficiente de validez de contenido (CVC) Global de 0,942, demostrando claridad, pertinencia y relevancia de las cuestiones. El instrumento presentó consistencia interna con alfa de Cronbach estandarizado de 0,6; considerado aceptable. El análisis factorial exploratorio presentó un KMO de 0,56 la prueba de esfericidad de Bartlett presentó valor de 0,001. Conclusiones: El Cuestionario Brasileño de Evaluación de la Satisfacción de los Pacientes Atendidos por Telemedicina (QAS-Tele) es fácil y viable para evaluar la satisfacción de los pacientes atendidos por telemedicina.

El consentimiento informado es un proceso en el que un paciente libre y bien informado o sus representantes autorizan o no un procedimiento médico. Objetivos: El objetivo del estudio fue explorar el grado de satisfacción de padres de pacientes y profesionales con respecto al CI implementado en diferentes áreas del hospital. Métodos: Estudio observacional y descriptivo mediante encuesta anónima, a médicos y padres de pacientes atendidos en el hospital entre enero y julio de 2018. Resultados: Se obtuvieron 158 respuestas de profesionales y 139 de padres. Para el 50% de los padres el CI es un proceso para mejorar la calidad. El 81% de ellos consideró que recibió la información, la comprendieron y pudieron aclarar dudas. El 89% recibió la información del médico y el 59% en el lugar adecuado. De los profesionales, 57% consideró al CI como un proceso de información para mejorar la calidad. El 3% estimó que los padres comprenden la información siempre, el 66% consideró que el CI contiene la información suficiente y 13% le entregó una copia a la familia. Conclusiones: El grado de satisfacción de los padres en relación al CI es alto mientras que el de los profesionales es moderado. Hay que continuar trabajando en el proceso de comunicación entre ambos grupos (AU)


Informed consent is a process based on which a free and wellinformed patient or his/her representatives decide whether or not to authorize a medical procedure. Objectives: The aim of the study was to explore the degree of satisfaction of parents of patients and professionals regarding the IC implemented in different areas of the hospital. Methods: Observational and descriptive study using an anonymous survey of physicians and parents of patients treated at the hospital between January and July 2018. Results: the survey was responded by 158 physicians and 139 parents. Overall, 50% of the parents considered that the IC is part of a quality improvement process; 81% of them found they received adequate information, understood it, and were able to clarify doubts. Eighty-nine percent received the information from the physician and 59% in the appropriate area. Of the professionals, 57% considered the IC to be an information process to improve quality; 3% felt that parents always understand the information; 66% felt that the IC contains sufficient information; and 13% gave the family a copy. Conclusions: A degree of satisfaction with the IC was found in parents while it was moderate among physicians. It is necessary to continue working on the communication process between both groups (AU)

ABSTRACT

El nivel de satisfacción de la población atendida por los médicos posgradistas de Medicina Familiar y Comunitaria cobra importancia por ser el eje fortalecedor del primer nivel de atención complementando la atención primaria de salud. Objetivo: Describir el nivel de satisfacción de la población atendida por los posgradistas de Medicina Familiar y Comunitaria en el Centro de Salud Primavera 2 en el año 2021. Materiales y Métodos: Se realizó un estudio observacional de corte transversal, mediante muestreo aleatorio simple probabilístico se seleccionaron a 350 personas que fueron atendidas. Resultados: El 91,7% de la población expresó que el proceso de atención fue entre excelente y buena, el 89,1% manifestó que la relación médico paciente es satisfactoria, además se encontró que la satisfacción global es muy satisfactorio y medianamente satisfactorio con el 82,9% y el 16% respectivamente. Conclusiones: Las actividades académicas, la falta de medicamentos, la estrechez de los tiempos asignados en la atención y las limitaciones en el proceso de atención ocasionadas por la pandemia de Covid-19, probablemente influyeron en los resultados de insatisfacción de la investigación(AU)


the level of satisfaction of the population attended by postgraduate doctors of Family and Community Medicine becomes important for being the strengthening axis of the first level of care complementing primary health care. Objective: to describe the level of satisfaction of the population served by postgraduate students in Family and Community Medicine in the Primavera 2 Health Center in the year 2021. Materials and Methods: a study was carried out cross-sectional observational study, through probabilistic simple random sampling, they selected 350 people who were attended. Results: 91.7% of the population expressed that the care process was between excellent and good, 89.1% stated that the doctor-patient relationship is satisfactory, it was also found that global satisfaction is very satisfactory and moderately satisfactory with 82.9% and 16% respectively. Conclusions: the academic activities, the lack of medicines, the narrowness of the times assigned in care and the limitations in the care process caused by the pandemic of Covid-19, probably influenced the dissatisfaction results of the investigation(AU)

Introdução:Alguns aspectos influenciam o distanciamento dos homens em buscar atendimento nas Unidades de Saúde.Objetivo:Analisar os fatores que influenciam a procura peloatendimento à saúde do homem na Atenção Primária de Saúde, na perspectiva dos usuários.Metodologia:Pesquisa qualitativa realizada em uma Unidade Básica de Saúde de Belo Horizonte. Foram entrevistados homens entre 18 e 59 anos atendidos no referido serviço. O conteúdo dos depoimentos foi submetido à análise temática de conteúdo.Resultados:Os participantes desconhecem a política a eles direcionada e expressaram como se sentem durante a atenção, diante da demora no atendimento e do desejo de serem assistidos como as mulheres. Emergiram três categorias: (Des)Conhecendo as políticas de saúde; abusca pelos serviços de saúde; e ainsatisfação dos homens: revelando fatores que dificultam a procura aos serviços de saúde.Conclusões:Urge identificar a satisfação do público alvo. Capacitação e sensibilização permanentes das equipes concorrem para melhorias do cuidado cotidiano (AU).

Objective: Analyzingthe factors that influence the search for men's health care in Primary Health Carefrom de users' perspective.Methodology: A qualitative research conducted in a Basic Health Unit of Belo Horizonte. Men between 18 and 59 years oldattended at the service were interviewed. The content of the statements was submitted to Thematic Content Analysis.Results: The participants are unaware of the policy directed to them and expressed how they feel during the attention, given the delay in care and the desire to be assisted as women. Three categories emerged: (Dis)Recognizinghealth policies; the search for health services; e men's dissatisfaction: revealing factors that hinder the search for health services. Conclusions: It is urgent to identify the satisfaction of the target audience. Permanent training and awareness of teams contribute to improvements in daily care (AU).


Introducción: Algunos aspectos influyen en el distanciamiento de los hombres en la búsqueda de atención en las unidades de salud.Objetivo: Analizar los factores que influyen en lademanda deatención a la salud de los hombres en la Atención Primaria de Salud, desde la perspectiva de los usuarios.Metodología: Investigación cualitativa realizada en una Unidad Básica de Saludde Belo Horizonte. Se entrevistó a hombres entre 18 y 59 años atendidos en el servicio. El contenido de las declaraciones se sometió al Análisis de Contenido Temático.Resultados: Las participantes desconocen la política dirigida a ellas y expresaron cómose sienten durante la atención, dada la demora en el cuidado y el deseo de ser asistidas como mujeres. Surgieron tres categorías: (Des)Conocer las políticas de salud; la búsqueda de servicios de salud; e insatisfacción de los hombres: factores reveladoresque dificultan la búsqueda de servicios de salud. Conclusiones: Es urgente identificar la satisfacción del público objetivo. La formación permanente y la concienciación de los equipos contribuyen a mejorar la atención diaria (AU).

Resumen Introducción: La insatisfacción en la atención de los servicios forenses públicos, representa una preocupación de las entidades estatales hacia la atención brindada a los usuarios, siendo necesario su identificación. La investigación determino la relación entre el nivel de satisfacción y factores sociodemográficos de usuarios atendidos en la Unidad Médico Legal II Amazonas. Materiales y métodos: Estudio descriptivo-correlacional, de enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental, en una muestra de 126 usuarios, seleccionados por muestreo probabilístico aleatorio estratificado, se aplicó un cuestionario mediante encuesta, validado por juicio de expertos (V de Alkin, 94.38) y confiabilidad (alfa de Cronbach, 0.824). Resultados: Mediante prueba Chi-cuadrado de Pearson, no se encontró relación entre la variable nivel de satisfacción y características sociodemográficas (p>0.05); al evaluarse por servicios, se encontró en mesa de partes satisfacción indiferente (44.4%) e insatisfacción (27%), en Medicina legal, satisfacción (35%) e indiferente (55%), en Odontología forense, tuvo satisfacción (84.1%) y el servicio de Psicología forense satisfacción (78.6%). Conclusiones: El nivel de satisfacción y los factores sociodemográficos no se relacionan, es decir las variables se disocian; en general los usuarios atendidos mostraron satisfacción (56.6%), insatisfacción (11%) y satisfacción indiferente (32.6%), por ello se requieren de planes de mejora para la atención al usuario.


Abstract Introduction: The dissatisfaction of the attention of the public forensic services, represent a concern of the state entities towards the attention of the users, being necessary their identification. The research determined the relationship between the level of satisfaction and sociodemographic factors of users attended in the Medical Legal Unit II Amazonas. Materials and methods: Descriptive-correlational study, with a quantitative approach and non-experimental design, in a sample of 126 users, selected by stratified random probability sampling, a questionnaire was applied by means of a survey, validated by expert judgment (V de Alkin, 94.38) and reliability (Cronbach's alpha, 0.824). Results: Using Pearson's Chi-square test, no relationship was found between the level of satisfaction variable and sociodemographic characteristics (p> 0.05); When evaluated by services, indifferent satisfaction (44.4%) and dissatisfaction (27%) were found at the party table, in Legal Medicine, satisfaction (35%) and indifferent (55%), in Forensic Dentistry, there was satisfaction (84.1%) and the forensic psychology service satisfaction (78.6%). Conclusions: The level of satisfaction and the sociodemographic factors are not related, that is, the variables are dissociated; In general, the users attended showed satisfaction (56.6%), dissatisfaction (11%) and indifferent satisfaction (32.6%), for this reason improvement plans are required for user service.
