ABSTRACT
From August 1992 to August 1995, twenty-two operations in the foot and ankle were done in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of Menia University Hospital in fifteen children [ten boys and five girls] suffering from severe club foot deformity, seven with bilateral and eight with unilateral affection. Their ages ranged from 3 to 3.5 years. One of the unilateral deformity aged 13 years had severe equinovarus deformity due to burn contracture. They were treated by soft tissue release and skin flaps either rotation or multiple Z plasty supplemented with El-Khouly external fixator. The results according to Mittal 1987 were excellent in seventeen feet and good in four feet and poor in one foot
