ABSTRACT
El objetivo fue determinar la percepción que tiene el paciente sometido a cirugía oftalmológica acerca del cuidado que brinda la enfermera en el servicio de Cirugía de día en el Hospital Nacional Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen. Lima. Perú. 2013. Material y Método: El estudio es de tipo cuantitativo, método descriptivo de corte transversal. La población estuvo constituida por 80 pacientes. La técnica fue la entrevista y el instrumento un formulario sobre el Inventario de Conductas del Cuidado diseñado por Wolf (1994) modificado aplicado previo consentimiento informado. Resultados: Del 100 por ciento (80), 53 por ciento (42) tienen una percepción medianamente favorable, 33 por ciento (14) favorable y 14 por ciento (11) desfavorable. Conclusiones: La mayoría de los pacientes sometidos a cirugía oftalmológica tienen una percepción de medianamente favorable a favorable referido a que la enfermera lo saluda y lo llama por su nombre, lo que le comunica confidencialmente no lo divulga, le presta atención cuando le habla, lo trata con respeto en un ambiente limpio y ordenado, usa un tono de voz suave, cuando llama a la enfermera acude a su llamado, le orienta para que participe en sus cuidados, lo cuida en todo momento desde su ingreso hasta el alta, maneja los equipos con habilidad, cuida de su intimidad durante la preparación para la cirugía y la enfermera le dedica tiempo a sus familiares sobre la intervención...
