ABSTRACT

The relative growth of pons weight was studied in 123 brazilian human fetuses of known age ranging from 9th to 12th weeks postconception using the allometric method. The pons weight was correlated to the fatal weight. The pons growth presented negative allometry during first gestational trimester. These data are imported to compare the fetal growth after ultrasound investigation
