RESUMEN
A retrospective study of 47 cases of cirrhosis in Morrocan children is reported. This liver disease has low frequancy with a slight predominance in males. Three peaks of age are noticed: at one year, 3 years, and 12 years. Biliary cirrhosis is the most frequent etiology. No etiology is found ir approximately 50% of cases. There are no particularities in the analytic study of indetermined cirrhosis [22 cases/47]. Authors emphasize the necessity of a prospective large study of cirrhosis in childhood
