RESUMEN
Head trauma can result trivial to life threatening manifestations to a person. Subdural hemotomais characterised by accumulation of blood in subdural space, in most cases it is a serious condition and requires prompt diagnosis and treatment for the same to provide good outcome. Large collection, mid line shift, brain herniation associated with subdural hematoma is associated with increased morbidity and mortality. However, if the collection is minimal or is places like tentorium cerebelli may not have the typical presentation and if it抯 picked up using the subtle signs the devastating sequelae can be prevented. We report a 19 years old male with head trauma presenting with features of right-side isolated oculomotor nerve palsy who eventually found to have tentorial subdural hemotoma in imaging which has been intervened and complications were avoided.
RESUMEN
Fishery waste and by-products are valuable sources of raw material for recovery of antioxidant and bioactive 3tides
Due to the increased demand for protein hydrolysates with antioxidative properties by various sectors of nsumable food, health care and pharmaceutical industries, the present study focused in the production of fish protein olysate [FPH] by enzymatic digestion from the backbone of Rastrelliger kanagurta [Indian mackerel] and evaluated | antioxidant potential
The observed results of the degree of hydrolysis suggest that the rapid phase of proteolytic savage was occurred in the first 60 minutes of incubation and during this period, the rate of hydrolysis was found to be with increasing ratio of enzyme to substrate concentration
The result of the antioxidant properties clearly tficates that thel, 1- diphenyl-2 picrylhydrazyl [DPPH] radical scavenging efficacy of FPH was similar to that of Jtic antioxidants like butylated hydroxyl toluene [BHT]
The FPH also exhibited significant reducing power ability I great potential to inhibit lipid peroxidation in equivalence with that of synthetic and natural antioxidants such as fand a-tocopherol respectively
The overall findings of the study reveal that, FPH produced by tryptic digestion has able amount of bioactive peptides with potent antioxidant properties
The synthesized FPH is a good candidate irfurther development into a commercial food additive
