In most cases the stones impact is at the end of the small intestine. When the stones impact in the duodenum it is called Bouverets syndrome. We present a case study of a patient with acute cholecystitis and another case study of Bouverets syndrome, together with a summary symptoms, diagnostic techniques, and treatment.
