The linking ability of F1 antigen coated with sheep red blood cells does not change under the following conditions: freezing speed 0.5oC/minute, interval of sublimation 24 hours and adjuvant including 7.5% of saccharose and 0.1% BSA. The agglutination geometric mean titer remained at the same level 1/199.526 as before cryoprecipitation.

Species were applied by the Centre for the vaccine quality control including Bordetella pertussis GL 353 type 1; Bordetella pertussis 360 E type1, 2; Bordetella pertussis H36 type 1, 3. The methods: preparation of the medium Bordet- Gengou; production of the serum fast according to the methods of the surface culture in Bordet-Gengo medium in bottle of Roux; immunization and collection of serum fast; absorption of the non- specific antibody. The results have shown that the antibody effect of type 1, type 1, 2 and type 3, 4 in the 14th day after the 6 injection of the outlines immuned higher than this in the seventh day. The combination of pertussis antigen with Aluminum phosphate increases immunoability in all three types with some effects. Therefore, a monovalent pertussis serum fast has made in the allowed standard. The ability of agglutination and specificity of the produced pertussis serum fast were the same as these of the England National Institute of vaccine and biological substances

Monospecific B.pertussis antisera prepared at IVAC, Nha Trang, Da Lat have been used in the identifying testing for the presence of agglutinogens 1, 2 and 3 in B.pertussis strains GL353, 360E, H36, 248, 305, 18323 and in vaccine final bulks L617, L617-636, L624-628, L627-634, L634-636, L613-614. Similar results were obtained with monospecific B.pertussis antisera issued by the United Kingdom.

The improved procedure for production of monospecific B.pertussis antiserum at the Institute of Vaccines satisfied the technical requirement, sterility specificity, sensibility and stability. Similar results were obtained with monospecific B.pertussis antisera issued by the United Kingdom.
