Analysis of influencing factors of serum HBeAg loss in patients with chronic hepatitis B / 中国热带医学

@#Abstract: Objective To explore the influencing factors of serum HBeAg loss in patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) and and provide evidence for effective treatment of CHB. Methods A follow-up cohort of HBeAg-positive CHB patients was established in the the Infectious Diseases Outpatient Clinic of hospital. Regular follow-up and laboratory test indicators were collected to analyze the changes of serum HBeAg in HBeAg-positive CHB patients during the follow-up period. The subjects were divided into the case group (serum HBeAg loss) and the control group (serum HBeAg not loss) according to whether serum HBeAg loss occurred. The baseline data characteristics of the two groups were analyzed and compared, and the influencing factors of serum HBeAg loss were analyzed by Cox univariate and multivariate regression. Results A total of 634 HBeAg-positive CHB patients were enrolled, with a total follow-up of 2 570.01 person-years. Among them, 237 cases of serum HBeAg loss occurred, with the mean follow-up time of 40.92 months, and the rate of HBeAg loss was 9.22/100 person-years. There were significant differences in HBV family history, antiviral therapy, baseline WBC, PLT, ALT, AST, T˗Bil, GGT, AFP, quantitative HBsAg and quantitative HBeAg between serum HBeAg loss group and serum HBeAg not loss group (P<0.05). Cox regression analysis showed that family history of HBV (HR 0.68, 95％CI:0.50-0.92, P=0.012), ALT (HR2.06, 95％CI:1.52-2.79, P<0.001), quantitative HBsAg (HR 0.68, 95％CI:0.48-0.95, P=0.024), quantitative HBeAg (HR 0.48, 95％CI:0.31-0.74, P=0.001) were independent influencing factors for HBeAg loss in HBeAg-positive CHB patients. Conclusions HBeAg-positive CHB patients without family history of HBV, initial ALT≥80 U/L, quantitative HBsAg<1 000 IU/ml, quantitative HBeAg<1 000 C.O.I are more likely to have serum HBeAg loss.

Application of acellular dermal matrix in periodontal soft tissue augmentation surgery / 中华口腔医学杂志

The substitute materials of autologous tissue graft for periodontal soft tissue augmentation surgery develop rapidly. The use of substitute material can avoid the second operation area, shorten the operation time, reduce the postoperative reaction and pain, and is not limited by the quantity, suitable for a wide range of cases. In this paper, the characteristics, histological study, clinical application and therapeutic effect of acellular dermal matrix as a substitute material for autologous tissue transplantation were introduced to provide reference for clinical work.

Association between the polymorphism of aldosterone synthase gene promoter-344T/C and preeclampsia in Qinghai Province / 解剖学报

Objective To investigate the relationship between preeclampsia (PE) and polymorphism of aldosterone synthase gene (CYP11B2) promoter region-344T/C in Qinghai Province. Methods A total of 120 PE subjects and 155 normal pregnancy subjects were studied. The genotype of CYP11B2 was analyzed by polymerase chain reaction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP). The mutation was confirmed by sequencing. Results The frequencies of CYP11B2 TT, CT and CC genotype in the PE group were 43.0%, 45.6%, and 11.4%, and in the control group were 51.0%, 45.1%, and 3.9%, respectively. Correlation between serum angiotensin converting enzyme and angiotensinogen levels and pregnancy-induced hypertension and analysis of risk factors / 解剖学报

Objective To investigate the relationship between serum angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) and angiotensinogen (AGT) and gestational hypertension syndrome (HDCP) and the risk factors of HDCP. Methods A total of 135 pregnant hypertensive patients (HDCP group) and 100 normal pregnant women as control check (CK) group were selected. Serum ACE and AGT levels were measured by ELISA, and correlation analysis was performed. The age and gestational age of the two groups, pre-pregnancy body mass index (BMI), parity, number of births, family history of hypertension, family history, education, and other general information, single factor analysis of risk factors for maternal HDCP, single factor regression analysis Statistically significant factors were all used for multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results The serum ACE level in the HDCP group (90.49±47.65) μg/L was significantly higher than that in the CK group (58.72±27.58) μg/L, P0.05, the difference was not statistically significant; single factor analysis showed; age, BMI, hypertension, family history of diabetes, ACE level was maternal (P0.05). Multivariate analysis showed: age, BMI, history of hypertension and ACE. It was a risk factor for pregnancy-induced hypertension. Conclusion ACE levels are associated with HDCP. AGT levels are not associated with HDCP. Patients with a high age, high BMI, and hypertension history have an increased risk of gestational hypertension syndrome.

Objective To investigate the relationship between angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) and angiotensinogen (AGT) gene expression, gene polymorphism and pregnancy-induced hypertension in Qinghai. Methods A total of 210 pregnant hypertensive patients (HDCP group) and 220 normal pregnant women (CK group) were enrolled. Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) was used to detect AGT M235T and ACE I/ D gene polymorphism. Sangguayin preparation prevents palmitate-induced apoptosis by suppressing endoplasmic reticulum stress and autophagy in db/db mice and MIN6 pancreatic β-cells / 中国天然药物

Sangguayin preparation (SGY-P) is refined from the traditional Chinese medicinal compound Sangguayin, which "clears heat and promotes fluid" and "tonifies kidney and spleen" for "Xiaoke", commonly known as 'Diabetes mellitus' in clinics. Previous studies have shown that SGY-P could reduce insulin resistance and repair damaged pancreas in db/db mice, but the underlying mechanisms were unclear. Here, we investigated whether treatment with SGY-P could protect pancreatic β-cells from apoptosis and uncovered the underlying mechanisms. db/db mice were used to observe the hypoglycemic and islet protective effect in vivo. Apoptosis was induced in mouse insulinoma 6 (MIN6) cells by palmitate, following which the cells were treated with SGY-P for elucidating the anti-apoptotic mechanism in vitro. Cell viability and nuclear morphology were detected by CCK-8 assay and Hoechst 33258 staining. The expression levels of apoptosis-, endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress-, and autophagy-related proteins were measured by western blot. The results showed that SGY-P reduced fasting blood glucose, pancreatic pathological changes, and islet β-cell apoptosis in db/db mice. Palmitate-induced apoptosis in MIN6 cells was decreased by SGY-P treatment. Hence, SGY-P therapy exhibited a protective effect on pancreatic β-cells by decreasing the expression of cleaved caspase-3, cleaved PARP and Bax, and increasing Bcl-2 by suppressing ER stress (Bip/XBP1/IRE1α/CHOP/Caspase-12) and autophagy (LC3/p62/Atg5) pathways.2/Atg5) pathways.

The biological research brogress in evaluation of lymph Node Metastasis in bladder cancer / 医学研究生学报

Invasion and metastasis are the main behavior of malignant tumors. Lymph node metastasis is an early metastasis mode of bladder cancer, which is an important risk factor for poor prognosis . It is also an important index to decide the treatment, especially to determine the operation mode and strategy. Therefore, searching for the evaluation index of lymph node metastasis of malignant tumor is the focus of tumor research. In recent years, the literature of molecular biology for predicting the staging of bladder cancer has been reviewed, but the literature on biological assessment of lymph node metastasis hasn′t. At present, many evaluation indexes related to lymph node metastasis of bladder cancer have been reported in addition to the new imaging Methods , from gene to protein, and then to cell and tissue. In this paper,we try to look into the biological research progress in the evaluation of lymph node metastasis of bladder cancer.

Design and implementation of medical insurance little catalogue warning function in HIS / 医疗卫生装备

Objective To execute medical insurance little catalogue warning in HIS to prevent the doctor from providing medical service beyond medical insurance coverage.Methods Medical insurance little catalogue was established to regulate the boundaries for medical services available for different patients,and corresponding software was embedded into the medical workstation to call medical insurance little catalogue so as to realize warning for the boundaries and reimbursement rate.Results The function decreased the doctor's workload and the patient's cost while enhanced the doctor's efficiency and the doctor-patient relationship.Conclusion The function is easy to realize with high feasibility,and thus is worthy promoting practically.

Association of filaggrin gene polymorphism with atopic dermatitis in southern Chinese Han population / 中华医学遗传学杂志

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To investigate the association of filaggrin gene (FLG) polymorphism with atopic dermatitis (AD) in southern Chinese Han population.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>The frequencies of the 13 known FLG gene single nucleotide polymorphism(SNPs), including 3321delA, 441delA, 1249insG, E1795X, S3296X, R501X, 2282del4, R2447X, S2889X, 7945delA, 3702delG, Q2417X, R4307X, were detected in a cohort of 50 AD patients and 100 control individuals using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and DNA sequencing.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>FLG 3321delA and 441delA were detected in 14 (28%) and 6 (12%) AD patients, respectively. The other 11 SNPs were not detected in the patients. None of the 13 SNPs was detected in the controls.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The results suggested that the FLG gene might be associated with atopic dermatitis susceptibility in southern Chinese Han population.</p>

Effective analysis of continous perfusion with Dandshen and heparin for treatment of femoral head necrosis / 中国骨伤

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To investigate the effect of continous perfusion with Danshen and heparin for treatment of femoral head necrosis.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>From April 2004 to June 2007,42 patients of femoral head necrosis were treated by contious perfusing with Dandshen and heparin, included 24 males and 18 females with an average age of 39.2 years ranging from 13 to 61 years. There were 18 patients on stage II, 13 patients on stage III, 11 patients on stage IV according to Ficat standard. The venous duct were inserted into femoral head then perfused Danshen and heparin into femoral head for 15 days. Every patient was carried out opacification before treatment and 1 month after operation. Every patient was evaluated according to Harris standard before treatment and 3, 6, 12 months after treatment.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>All patients were followed-up for 32 to 68 months (means 42.7 months). The average scores of 18 patients on stage II on 3, 6, 12 months after treatment were (88.43 +/- 3.41), (94.37 +/- 3.47), (92.84 +/-4.29), respectively, and the scores after treatment were higher than the score (78.23 +/- 3.47) after treatment. The average scores of 13 cases on stage III on 3, 6, 12 after treatment were (82.94 +/- 3.31), (88.60 +/- 2.31), (86.09 +/- 3.17) respectivly, and the scores after treatment were higher than the score (66.11 +/- 4.50) before treatment. The average scores of 11 cases on stage IV on 3, 6, 12 months after treatment were (61.31 +/- 4.06), (59.2 +/- 7.31), (54.62 +/- 8.20) respectivly,and the scores on 3, 6 months after treatment were higher than the score (50.16 +/- 2.35) before treatment,but there was no obvious difference between before treatment and 12 months after treatment. The rank of phlebography of 18 cases on stage II and 13 cases on stage IlI were improved obvi ously 1 month after treatment,but there was no obvious difference in 11 cases of stage IV.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The method of contious perfusing with Danshen and heparin into femoral head has the advantage of little damage and good effect. It refers to patients in early stage (II and II ).</p>

Effect of static magnetic field on deep wound healing of SD rats / 中国骨伤

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To investigate the effect of static magnetic field on deep wound healing of SD rats and VEGF during the wound healing and different strength static magnetic field on deep wound healing of SD rats.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Divided forty-eight SD rats into three groups: 0.16 T magnetic disk treatment (0.16 T group), 0.32 T magnetic disk treatment (0.32 T group), control group. General wounds healing situation was observated on the 3, 6, 9, 12 day. The area of every wound was calculated. The tissue of granulation was dyeing by immune tissue chemical decoration method, in which VEGF protein content with its range in tissue was measured.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>The healing index of 0.16 T magnetic group wounds were larger than that of control group on 6th and 9th day, there were statistical difference. The healing index of 0.32 T magnetic group wounds were larger than that of control group on 3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th day, there were statistical difference. The healing index of 0.32 T group wounds contrasted to that of 0.16 T group wounds had no statistical significance. Observation of VEGF at the course of wound healing:the expressing of VEGF in magnetic group wounds on 3rd and 6th was stronger than in control group wounds, there were statistical difference. While there were no obvious difference between them on 9th and 12th day (P>0.05). But the contrast between that in 0.32 T group and in 0.16 T group had no statistical difference. The expressing strength of VEGF in magnetic group reached the peak amplitude on the 6th day, and that in control group reached peak amplitude on 9th day. And the peak amplitude of magnetic group was stronger than that of control group.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Static magnetic disc of 0.16T and 0.32 T can promote deep wound of SD rats heal. The mechanism of static magnetic field promoting wound heal may be relative to the expressing highly of VEGF during early and middle time.</p>

A case-control study on the risk factors of Yunnan endemic sudden cardiac death / 中国地方病学杂志

Objective To explore the potential risk factors to Ymman endemic sudden cardiac death (YESCD) and provide evidence for prevention. Methods Twenty-two cases and 24 controls were randomly selected from YESCD areas and non-YESCD areas, respectively. Both cases and controls were interviewed with unified questionnaires. Univatiate X2 test and multivariate conditional logistic stepwise regression was conducted with SPSS 13.0. The optimal regression model was established and evaluated. Results The univariate X2 teat revealed that presence or absence of 5 potential factors might possibly be associated to YESCD: appropriate places for storing dining utensils, pens for livestock, consumption of mushrooms, exposure to any pesticides, and sudden climate changes before onset(X2=12.206,4.779,5.741,6.120,10.754, P<0.05). Multivariate conditional logistic stepwise regression demonstrated that consumption of mushrooms was a protective factor(OR=0.115, P<0.05) and sudden climate change was a risk factor(OR=36.592, P<0.01). Conclusions Sudden climate change might be a risk factor contributing to YESCD, and eating mushrooms before the prevalence seasons may provide some protection.

Treatment of fracture of the tubiform bone with domestic locking plate through minimal invasive incision and bridging reduction fixation / 中国骨伤

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To study the therapeutic method and clinical effect of domestic locking plate for treating fracture of the tubiform bone through a minimal incision and bridging fixation.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Among 40 patients with fracture of the tubiform bone, 29 patients were male and 11 patients were female, aged from 29 to 69 years, with the average of 38.27 years. Among 34 patients with closed fracture, 7 cases were type A, 10 cases type B, 17 cases type C according to AO/ASIF classification. Among 6 patients with open fracture, 2 cases were type I, 4 cases were type II according to Gustilo classification. These patients were treated with a small incision after manipulative reduction. Locking plate and 3.5 mm diameter Kirschner wire were used to maintain the reduction and through the C-arm X-ray machine to check and adjust the position, screw were locked to bridging fixation at last.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>Forty cases were followed up in 6 months on average (ranging from 4 to 10 months). The average time of union of fracture was 4.6 months (ranging from 3 to 8 months). According to Ovadia typing, the results were excellent in 16 cases, good in 20 cases, fair in 3 cases,poor in 1 case. The excellent and good rate was 90%.</p><p><b>CONCLUSIONS</b>The domestic locking plate is suitable for patients with osteoporosis and comminuted fracture because of the advantages of reliable fixation and low price. It could achieve the same effect of minimal invasive as LISS (less invasive stabilizing system) plate through the improvement of operative method.</p>

Surgical treatment for the intradural extramedullary tumor in the spinal canal / 中国骨伤

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To study the clinical characteristics of the intradural extramedullary tumor in the spinal canal, as well as the application of internal fixation technique to restore the spinal stability in the surgical treatment of intradural extramedullary tumor in the spinal canal through posterior approach.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Among 24 patients receiving the tumor resection through posterior approach, 14 patients were male and 10 patients were female, ranging in age from 12 to 68 years, with an average of 40 years. Fourteen patients were treated with internal fixation and autogenous bone graft after tumor resection, and other 10 patients without internal fixation and autogenous bone graft.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>All the patients underwent one-stage resection of the tumor. During the follow-up period ranged from 6 months to 3 years (average 22 months), no recurrence of the tumor was found and the injury of spine cord did not aggravate, no vascular or nerve-root injury after the operation. The Frankle grades were improved by 1 to 3 degrees. Bone fusion formed at the corresponding bone grafted place. And there was no instrument broken or loosening.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>After the intradural extramedullary tumor is resected, internal fixation and autogenous bone graft can restore the stability of spine.</p>

Influence of Air Relative Humidity on Indoor Air Quality / 环境与健康杂志

As an important factor ensuring the indoor thermal comfort,air relative humidity may influence the indoor air quality.Based on the impact of air humidity on acceptable indoor air quality percentage,this paper presented the impact of air humidity on chemical pollutants (formaldehyde and ozone) and biologic contaminations.The research results showed that appropriate increase of relative humidity can decrease ozone concentration in the room,contrarily,can increase formaldehyde concentration.Therefore,in the room temperature,regulating air relative humidity in an appropriate level can improve the indoor air quality and decrease the harm of pollutants to human health.

Identification of a functional ITAM-like sequence within G1 cytoplasmic tail of Hantaan virus / 病毒学报

The G1 cytoplasmic tail of Hantaan virus (HTNV) harbors a highly conserved region, which is homologous to immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motifs (ITAM) and is termed the ITAM-like sequence. To demonstrate the potential signal-transducing activity of G1 ITAM-like sequence resembling the canonical ITAM within immune and endothelial cells, a series of experiments were performed to define its interaction with cellular kinases. The synthesized G1 ITAM-like peptide was shown to coprecipitate with cellular phosphoprotein complexes by an immune-complex kinase assay. Mutational analyses showed that this ITAM-like sequence was a substrate for the Src family kinase Fyn, and two conserved tyrosine residues were required for coprecipitating Lyn, Syk, and ZAP-70 kinases. These findings demonstrated that HTNV envelope glycoprotein G1 contains a functional ITAM-like sequence in its cytoplasmic tail, which can bind critical cellular kinases that regulate immune and endothelial cell functions.

Effects of Chinese herbal medicine for supplementing Shen and strengthening the bone on rat distal femur cancellous bone in simulated weightlessness: an observation with scanning electron microscope / 南方医科大学学报

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To observe the effect of Chinese herbal medicine for supplementing Shen and strengthening the bone on distal femoral trabecular ultrastructure of male rats subjected to simulated weightlessness.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Fifteen male SD rats were randomized equally into 3 groups, including a control group (group A, in which the rats were allowed free movement) and two simulated weightlessness (via tail suspension) groups (group B and C). The rats in group C were treated with the commercially available Chinese herbal preparation, and those in the other two groups received normal saline at the same dose, for a treatment course of 28 days. Observation of trabeculae was performed with scanning electron microscopy.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>In group B, the trabeculae of the femur became thinner, fragile, discontinuous with reduced quantity as compared with those in group A. The rats in group C had greater number of the trabeculae than those in group B. Resorption surface decreased and the collagenous fiber were much more regular in group B.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The Chinese herbal medicine may produce beneficial effect on bone microstructure of rats subjected to simulated weightlessness.</p>
