RESUMEN
O presente trabalho apresenta algumas interrogações surgidas no campo de investigação/intervenção desenvolvida no período de agosto de 2002 a abril de 2004, junto a onze projetos sociais que atuam no campo das artes, no Rio de Janeiro. O objetivo principal foi a investigação dos efeitos dessas práticas educativas nos modos e concepções de vida de crianças, adolescentes e jovens das classes populares. Foi realizado um mapeamento das formulações político pedagógicas desses projetos, e, utilizando-se de instrumentos/dispositivos, como reuniões de restituição e questionários semi-estruturados, foram definidos indicadores que nortearam os caminhos da pesquisa. Neste texto são tratados temas relativos à gênese da articulação entre a arte e educação além dos fundamentos e percursos metodológicos e de uma reflexão sobre a afirmação de uma perspectiva de criação buscada pelas classes populares nesse campo de ações educativas que pode estar se constituindo como uma zona de confinamento da pobreza e de controle social.
This work presents the questions that arose in course of an investigation/intervention carried out from august 2002 to April 2004, involving eleven social projects dealing with arts in Rio de Janeiro. The main objective was the investigation of the effects of these educational practices on the conceptions of life of children, teenagers and young men from popular classes. A map of the political-educational formulations of those projects was done and, using devices such as feed-back meetings and semi-structured interviews, we defined the axis that oriented the research. In this paper, we also discuss topics related to the production of the articulation of art and education as well as its basis and methods. Finally, we reflect upon the proposal of a perspective of creation implemented among popular classes in this field of educational actions which could lead to poverty confinement and social control.
