HBV-DNA in the cord vessel's endothelial cells nuclei was not seen.Conclusion There were HBV replication in the umbilical cord tissues of the died fetus. But expression of HBV-DNA in the umbilical cord tissues of the died fetus was not related with the HBV replication status in the pregnant woman veins.
