Development of a questionnaire to evaluate the cooperation of adolescent orthodontic patients / 中华口腔医学杂志

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To develop a questionnaire to evaluate the cooperation of adolescent orthodontic patients.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>182 orthodontic patients (9 - 15 years old, 78 boys and 104 girls) with fixed appliance were selected in Dalian. A questionnaire was developed according to the past research and 4 hypotheses.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>The scale is made up of 25 items and 4 factors. The reliability of this scale was confirmed (the reliability coefficient > 0.9 and Cronbach alpha coefficient > 0.7).</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The questionnaire may be used to evaluate the cooperation of orthodontic patients.</p>
