RESUMEN
Haemorrhoid is a common ailment of human beings, more common in developed countries and is usually a chronic complaint often associated with constipation, slight or profuse bleeding per rectum with other constitutional symptoms like general debility and weakness. In Unani system of Medicine there are mufrad [single] or Murakkab [poly-pharmaceutical] preparations which are said to be beneficial in this disease. Among useful Unani preparations Qurs-eBawaseer Damui and Qurs-e-Muqil are said to be more effective. On an average these preparations on trials showed complete relief in 82.5% cases and partial relief in 37.7% of cases of Haemorrhoids
