Effect of exhausting treadmill exercise on blood total cholesterol in young untrained subjects

Exhausting treadmill exercise in untrained male and female subjects of 18-23 years age produced an increase in both blood sugar and total serum cholesterol levels. The increase in blood sugar was significant in both sexes whereas increase in cholesterol levels was highly significant in males only
