RESUMEN
The results of a study of Phenylthiocarbamide [P.T.C.] taste sensitivity and threshold among 110 Iraqi Medical students of Arab ethnic origin indicated that the incidence of tasters was 78.2% and the mean taste almost the same as for other caucasinas. No correlation with sex, pH of saliva, ABO and Rh blood groups was found

RESUMEN
Exhausting treadmill exercise in untrained male and female subjects of 18-23 years age produced an increase in both blood sugar and total serum cholesterol levels. The increase in blood sugar was significant in both sexes whereas increase in cholesterol levels was highly significant in males only
