RESUMEN

Flash radiotherapy is a kind of radiotherapy method using ultra-high dose rate radiation. Compared with the traditional dose rate radiotherapy, it has unique radiobiological advantages. In this paper, the principle of flash radiotherapy, the process and results of biological experiments are summarized. At the same time, the advantages and challenges of flash radiotherapy are analyzed, and the future clinical application is prospected.

RESUMEN

Objective To explore the characteristics and efficacy of manual treatment for postpartum hypogalactia. Methods To retrieve the CNKI from 2007 to 2017 on the massage and manual treatment for postpartum hypogalactia, and analyze its syndrome differentiation, acupoint selection, manipulation rules, treatment frequency, treatment courses and clinical efficacy. Results Among the 83 articles included, the massage therapy for postpartum hypogalactia were based on the diseases and syndromes, and the selection of acupoints was diverse and combined with local and distance such as Danzhong (CV 17),Rugen (ST 18),Shaoze (SI 1),Zusanli (ST 36),Pishu (BL 20).The therapy were rich in techniques which often use acupoint stimulation and manipulation. Conclusions Tuina therapy for postpartum hypogalactia is widely used with safety and reliablility. But the operational procedures and efficacy standards need to be further standardized.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE@#To observe the clinical efficacy of methycobal iontophoresis combined with balance acupuncture in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis.@*METHODS@#A total of 108 patients with peripheral facial paralysis were randomly divided into a methycobal iontophoresis combined with balance acupuncture group (a combined group), a methycobal iontophoresis group and a simple balance acupuncture group, 36 cases in each one. Basic medical treatment were given in the three groups. The simple balance acupuncture was applied at contralateral lumbago acupoint, rhinitis acupoint, stomachache acupoint in the simple balance acupuncture group. Methycobal through iontophoresis anodic introduction therapy was given in the methycobal iontophoresis group. On the basic treatment of methycobal iontophoresis, in the combined group, acupuncture was supplied at contralateral lumbago acupoint, rhinitis acupoint and stomachache acupoint. The treatment in all groups was given once a day, for 2 weeks. The House-Brackmann grading scale and the modified portmann score (RPA) method were used to observe the degree of nerve function and facial paralysis before and after treatment, and the clinical efficacy of each group was evaluated.@*RESULTS@#The total effective rate of the combined group was 97.2% (35/36), which was higher than 83.3% (30/36) in the methycobal iontophoresis group and 88.9% (32/36) in the simple balance acupuncture group (all 0.05). The RPA score of the combined group was higher than those in the methycobal iontophoresis group and simple balance acupuncture group (both 0.05).@*CONCLUSION@#Compared with methycobal iontophoresis and simple balance acupuncture therapy, methycobal iontophoresis combined with balance acupuncture therapy can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and signs of peripheral facial paralysis.

RESUMEN

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of treatment for deep burn wound on finger by proper digital artery flap. Methods From March 2013 to October 2016, 24 patients with deep burn wound on finger were treated by proper digital artery flap.Postoperative observation included wound repair, flap survival, complications and functional recovery of fingers. Results All the 24 flaps survived and no necrosis happened. The marginal abnormal circulation of flap occurred in only 5 cases, which cured by dress changing. All flaps kept well in contour, skin color, temperature and texture.Movement function of donor and recipient fingers was nearly normal. Conclusion Proper digital artery flap avoided the deficiencies distant pedicled flap, so it is a favorite choice for digital soft tissue defect caused by deep burn injury.

RESUMEN

Objective To screen and identify effective small interfering RNA (siRNAs) targeting the conserved 5’ untrans-lated region (UTR) of the enterovirus 71 (EV71) genome. Methods Double-stranded siRNAs were designed to target the 5’UTR of the EV71 genome. The cytotoxicity effect of siRNAs on rhabdomyosarcoma (RD) cells was evaluated. The cytopathic effect on EV71-infected RD cells was observed under phase-contrast microscopy and the effective siRNAs were screened out by cell viability assay and real-time TaqMan RT-PCR assay. Results All the siRNAs did not exhibit any cytotoxic effects on the viability and growth of RD cells. Transfection of si-1 and si-2 targeting the 5’ UTR in EV71 genome into RD cells signiifcantly delayed and alleviated the cytopathic effects of EV71 infection, increased cell viability and reduced the EV71 RNA transcripts. And the inhibitory effect of si-1/si-2 on EV71 replication was sequence-speciifc. Conclusions The 2 siRNAs (si-1 and si-2) targeting the conserved 5’UTR of the EV71 genome may have broad spectrum antiviral effects on many epidemic EV71 strains.

RESUMEN

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of breast implant on congenital mammary dysplasia with mild pigeon chest deformity. Methods From January 2003 to July 2009,10 cases of female mammary dysplasia (between 20 to 31 years of age) underwent breast implant surgery. Subpectoral placement and transaxillary incision were selected. The surgeon marked the range of the operation on the skin, made a 3-4 cm incision in the armpit, separated the tissue until the pectoral lateral margin, cut the pecto-ralis fascia and bluntly created a suitable pocket under the pectoralis major for the implant. After the implant was placed in the pocket, the incision was closed. Results Ten cases of breast implant surgery did not pose the complications of local skin necrosis, infection, implant shift, heart and lungs dysfunction after one year follow-up. The appearance of anterior chest wall deformity was markedly improved. Conclusions The application of breast implant surgery in the treatment of congenital mammary dysplasia with mild pigeon chest deformity should be promoted, because of the double surgical effect of easy performing, minimal surgical damage, perfect breast shape and concealed deformity.
