RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE To establish the ultra-high liquid chromatography (UPLC) characteristic spectrum of Uncariae Ramulus Cum Uncis from different producing areas, to conduct chemical pattern recognition analysis, and to identify the medicinal materials of their different origins and counterfeit products. METHODS UPLC method was adopted to establish the characteristic spectra of 43 batches of Uncariae Ramulus Cum Uncis from different origins; cluster analysis combined with principal component analysis were used to analyze their quality; Uncariae Ramulus Cum Uncis from different origins and counterfeit products were identified. RESULTS UPLC specific spectrum of Uncariae Ramulus Cum Uncis was established, and 13 common peaks were calibrated; peak 2 was identified as catechin, peak 3 as chlorogenic acid, peak 4 as cryptochlorogenic acid, peak 7 as isochlorogenic acid B, peak 8 as isodehydroguotenine, peak 9 as isooguotenine, peak 10 as dehydroguotenine, peak 11 as isochlorogenic acid C, peak 12 as goutenine, and peak 13 as camptothecin. Through cluster analysis, the medicinal materials of 43 batches of Uncariae Ramulus Cum Uncis could be divided into 5 categories according to their different origins. Further principal component analysis revealed that the principal component comprehensive scores of Uncariae Ramulus Cum Uncis produced in Jiangxi and Hunan were relatively high, ranging from 0.264 to 2.904. The specific chromatogram could effectively distinguish among the different origins and their counterfeit products of Uncariae Ramulus Cum Uncis. CONCLUSIONS The established UPLC specific chromatogram can be used for quality control of Uncariae Ramulus Cum Uncis, and the study found that the quality of Uncariae Ramulus Cum Uncis from Jiangxi and Hunan provinces is relatively good.

RESUMEN

Objective:To explore the effect on cardiopulmonary function of early rehabilitation after lung transplantation. Methods:Forty patients undergoing lung transplantation were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, each of 20. Both groups received routine rehabilitation treatment, psychological counseling and health education about rehabilitation, medications and nutrition. The observation group was additionally given systematic early lung rehabilitation treatment as soon as their vital signs were stable after the operation. It included body position transfers, aerobic training, resistance training and breathing training 3 to 5 times a week for 4 weeks supervised by physical therapists. The control group were informed about methods of aerobic training, respiratory training and airway clearance but carried them out by themselves. The percentage of forced expiratory volume (FVC%), FVC in the first second (FEV1%, ) and FEV1%/ FVC% of the two groups were evaluated using a bedside lung function instrument before the lung transplantation and after 4 weeks of treatment. The six-minute walking distances (6MWDs) of the two groups were compared and their facility in the activities of daily living was evaluated using the modified Barthel index (MBI).Results:Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the average FEV1%, FVC%, FEV1%/FVC%, 6MWD or MBI ratings between the two groups. After the 4 weeks of treatment, both groups showed significant improvement in all of those measurements, on average. The observation group′s averages were, however, significantly better than those of the control group. Conclusion:Early rehabilitation after lung transplantation helps to improve cardiopulmonary function and promote a better quality of life.

RESUMEN

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To study the in vitro embryo culture of Epimedium wushanense and provide scientific basis for large scale production of tissue culture.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>Cullus and buds were induced from embryo of E. wushanense on a MS medium supplemented with different 2,4-D,6-BA, NAA, IBA.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>The optimal compositions of medium that induced callus and buds from embryo were the MS medium supplemented with 2,4-D 2 mg x L(-1), IBA 2 mg x L(-1) and NAA 0.5 mg x L(-1) and the MS medium supplemented with IBA 2 mg x L(-1) and 6-BA 0.5 mg x L(-1), respectively. The optimum medium for callus differentiation was MS + 6-BA 1 mg x L(-1) + NAA 0.5 mg x L(-1) + IBA 1 mg x L(-1), and MS +6-BA 1.0 mg x L(-1) + NAA 0.5 mg x L(-1) for shoots proliferation.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Using embryo as explants, the method of induction and culture of E. wushanense was established by the callus and buds, and the embryo of E. wushanense can be quickly propagated.</p>

RESUMEN

Objective To investigate the suitable mode of cognitive-behavioral therapy for lung transplant recipients during waiting for lung and evaluate the effect to improve patients' physical and mental state. Methods 50 cases were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group, each group with 25 cases. The control group received conventional treatment. The experimental group received cognitive-behavioral therapy in addition to conventional treatment.SAS and vital signs were measured in the two groups on admission,2 weeks and 4 weeks after admission. Results The SAS score of the experimental group was lower than the control group 2 weeks and 4 weeks after admission and SAS score decreased as the intervention extended. The SBp of the experimental group was lower than the control group 4 weeks after admission. There was no significant difference of DBp between two groups. The heart rate of the experimental group was lower than the control group 4 weeks after admission. The heart rate of the experimental group was lower on 2 weeks and 4 weeks after admission than on admission.4weeks after admission, the respiratory rate of the experimental group was lower than the control group and on admission. Conclusions Cognitive-behavioral therapy can reduce the level of anxiety and keep vital signs stable with good feasibility and effectiveness.
