RESUMEN

An adult female patient of internal nuclear inclusion disease(NIID)with a major clinical manifestation of decreased intelligence and recurrent disturbance of consciousness was followed up for nearly 4 years. In particular, the evolution of the video-electroencephalogram(VEEG),the auxiliary diagnosis of VEEG,and the prediction value of VEEG for clinical outcome were summarized. We found that(1)the background rhythm in NIID patients evolved with the progression of the disease;(2)electroencephalogram reactivity could predict the outcome of NIID coma;(3)VEEG helped to determine whether the consciousness disturbance caused by NIID was due to non-convulsive status epilepticus,This case provides a new idea to explore the application of VEEG in NIID.

RESUMEN

In order to quantitatively analyze the morphology and period of pulse signals, a time-space analytical modeling and quantitative analysis method for pulse signals were proposed. Firstly, according to the production mechanism of the pulse signal, the pulse space-time analytical model was built after integrating the period and baseline of pulse signal into the analytical model, and the model mathematical expression and its 12 parameters were obtained for pulse wave quantification. Then, the model parameters estimation process based on the actual pulse signal was presented, and the optimization method, constraints and boundary conditions in parameter estimation were given. The spatial-temporal analytical modeling method was applied to the pulse waves of healthy subjects from the international standard physiological signal sub-database Fantasia of the PhysioNet in open-source, and we derived some changes in heartbeat rhythm and hemodynamic generated by aging and gender difference from the analytical models. The model parameters were employed as the input of some machine learning methods, e.g. random forest and probabilistic neural network, to classify the pulse waves by age and gender, and the results showed that random forest has the best classification performance with Kappa coefficients over 98%. Therefore, the space-time analytical modeling method proposed in this study can effectively quantify and analyze the pulse signal, which provides a theoretical basis and technical framework for some related applications based on pulse signals.

RESUMEN

Extrauterine growth restriction (EUGR) in premature infant is a common problem in the world. The reasons for high EUGR rate, such as declining gestational age and birth weight, getting more medical treatment and examination or interruption of nutritional support, had been profoundly studied. However, there are few reports about the limited ability of intakes of energy and various nutrients and the updating of the growth standard curve . Research suggested that the average time taken to reach the recommended fat intake in preterm infants is proximately day 6 after birth, protein day 4 after birth, carbohydrate one-week after birth. Vitamins and trace elements are usually not able to or take a long time to reach the recommended nutrient intake. Without enough intake of energy and nutrients to maintain the need of intrauterine growth rate and catch-up growth in preterm infants, EUGR cannot be improved. In this paper, the EUGR and the intake of important nutrients, such as energy, fat, protein, vitamins and minerals, etc., during hospitalization were reviewed in hope to achieve more rational and standardized management for preterm infant, and provide more reasonable advise to control EUGR.

RESUMEN

[Objective]To investigate the effect of cryopreservation on the antigenicity of vascularized bone allotransplantation, and to observe the patency of the pedicle and the osteosis of bone allografts,in order to find out the dose of immunosuppressive agent.[Method]Forty-eight New Zealand rabbits were involved in the study.Of them 16 rabbits served as donors, and 32 hosts.Allotransplantation of cryopreserved radius diaphysis with the vascular pedicles were implanted to 8 rabbits and immunosuppressive agent(CsA 10 mg/kg/d) was administrated 4 weeks after transplantation(group A),similar cryopreserved grafts with the vascular pedicles were implanted to 8 rabbits and immunosuppressive agent(CsA 5mg/kg/d) was administrated 4 weeks after transplantation(group B),similar cryopreserved grafts with the vascular pedicles were implanted to 8 rabbits and immunosuppressive agent(CsA 2 mg/kg/d) was administrated 4 weeks after transplantation(group C),allotransplantation of cryopreserved radius diaphysis with a vascular pedicle was performed in 8 rabbits(group D),and 16 donors were group E.Immunological analysis was performed at 1 weeks.Radiography was taken for each graft at 2,4,8,12 weeks. And 12 weeks after operation, the patency of the pedicle was observed through ink infusing and histological studies were performed.[Result]There was no difference of IFN-? between group A and group B.However, the levels of IFN-? in groups A and B were lower than that in group C.[Conclusion]Cryopreservation could reduce the antigenicity of vascularized allotransplant graft. After transplantation, the reject response is decreased, patency and osteosis of bone allografts are better, and the dose of immunosuppressive agent are decreased.
