RESUMEN

Objective To observe the effects of central exudative chorioretinopathy(central exudative chorioretinopathy,CEC)treated with blood-activating and stasis-removing Chinese medicines. Methods All 339 cases of central exudative chorioretinopathy with 346 infected eyes were randomly recruited into a treatment group(176 cases with 181 infected eyes)and a control group(163 cases with 165 infected eyes). The treatment group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine by dialectical combination of syndrome and disease, while the control group was treated with conventional treatment. Results The corrected visual acuity was 0.01~1.2 in the treatment group.Of all 181 eyes in 176 patients,76 eyes were cured(41.98%),85 eyes were improved(46.96%),and 20 eyes were ineffective(11.6%),with a total effective rate being 88.94%.BY contrast,in the control group,of all 165 eyes in 163 patients,62 eyes were cured(37.57%),67 eyes were improved(40.60%),and 36 eyes were ineffective(21.83%),with a total effective rate being 78.17%.There was significant difference in the total effective difference between the two groups(U=2.05693,P<0.05).FFA and OCT were reexamined for the patients in the treatment group three menths after the treatment. The results showed that fluorescein leakage and choroidal neovascularization(choroid al neovascularisation,CNV)lesions disappeared in 76 eyes;fluorescein leakage and CNV lesions relieved in 85 Eyes;fluorescein leakage still existed in 12 eyes;and sear formed in 8 eyes. Conclusion Blood-circulating and stasis-removing Chinese medicines have good effects in promoting subhyaloid hemorrhage and exudation, eliminating retinal oedema, and improving eyesight.

RESUMEN

Objective To investigate the diagnosis method of intervertebral disc low back pain and the best treatment clinical efficacy. Methods The imaging data of 132 cases with intervertebral disc low back pain diagnosed by discography for disc imaging was retrospectively analyzed from October 2001 to October 2008. Randomly divided into three groups: group A of pereutaneous laser disc decompression in 63 cases of gasification, group B extraperitoneal anterior disectomy, Cage fusion 21 cases, group C posterior fusion after disectomy arch root 48 cases of screw fixation. Observed in patients with postoperative visual analogue scale (VAS) and Oswestry disability index (ODI) score improvement. Results MRI of lumbar intervertebral disc on T_2-weightod lesions as low signal was important. VAS after treatment in three groups followed by lower values to reduce, group A was (9.7 ± 0.9) points, group B was (7.4 ± 1.2) points, group C was (6.9 ± 1.4) points. There were statistically significance between group A and group B, C (P< 0.05). ODI in order to reduce the value of reducing, group A was (19.4 ± 1.4) points, group B was (18.8 ± 2.9) points, group C was (16.5 ± 2.1) points. There were statistically significance between group A and group B, C (P< 0.05). Conclusions Discography is a reliable method to diagnose intervertebral disc low back pain. Percutaneens laser disc decompression compared with posterior or anterior disectomy and fusion combined with internal fixation has good results in improving pain and function of patients.

RESUMEN

Objective To investigate the effect of proteasome inhibitor MG132 on the proliferation of human lens epithelial cells SRA01/04. Methods The SRA01/04 cells were treated with MG132 by different concentrations (0, 0. 1, 0. 5, 1. 0, 2. 5, 5.0, 10. 0μmol/L) for 36 hours. The cell viability in all groups was determined using methylthiazoltetrazolium (MTT) test. The effect of MG132 on the apoptosis and regulation of cell cycle about SRA01/04 cells were detected by flow cytometry (FCM). The SRA01/04 cells treated with MG132 were observed after Annexin V/FITC-PI staining by fluorescence microscope. Results The inhibitory effect of MG132 on SRA01/04 cells proliferation was enhanced with the increase of MG132 concentration. The 50% inhibiting concentration ( IC50 ) of MG132 was 2. 50μmol/L after SRA01/04 cells were treated with MG132 for 36 hours. The apoptosis index of the cells treated by MG132 at 2. 5μmol/L and 5 μmol/L for 36 hours was 6. 55 ± 0. 35% and 13.75 ± 3.18%, and 0. 75 ± 0. 21% for 5.0μmol/L for 36 hours in control group. After cells were treated with MG132 for 48h, the percentages of cells at G0/G1 phase were (42. 57 ± 0. 64) %, (73.42 ± 3.10) %, ( 80. 95 ± 3.83 ) % 0, 2. 5,5.0 μmol/Lgroups respectively, and those at S phase were (49. 44±1.36)%, ( 17. 40 ± 1.50)%, ( 19. 57 ± 1.29)%.Annexin V/FITC-PI staining was used, and MG132 was found to result to apoptosis. Conclusions MG132 could inhibit the proliferation of SRA01/04 cells by the effect of inducing apoptosis and regulation of cell cycle. The proteasome inhibitor-might play a key role in the prevention of posterior capsular opacification.

RESUMEN

Objective To observe the multi-segmental cervical spondylotic myelopathy with simple anterior or posterior joint pre-and post-operative prognosis of spinal cord function improved and the status, explore co-operation after the clinical efficacy and complications. Methods The clinical data of 298 cases of multi-segmental cervical spondylotic myelopathy with anterior or posterior of the simple pre-and post-joint surgery from January 2001 to January 2008 were retrospectively analyzed. The clinical efficacy, titanium anterior cervical decompression and fusion surgery net implanted titanium plate fixation 121 cases, posterior open-door laminoplasty 112 cases, 65 cases of combined surgery before and after. JOA score line of spinal cord function and somatosensory evoked potential, as compared 3 groups after surgical efficacy. Results All patients were followed-up 1- 7 years, averaged (4.7±1.4) years. The anterior cervical decompression and fusion surgery titanium mesh implanted titanium plate fixation to improve the rate was 78.1%, excellent and good rate was 72.7%(88/121). Posterior open-door laminoplasty to improve the rate was 70.6%, excellent and good rate was 66.1% (74/112), there was statistically significant between them (P < 0.05). After anterior surgery, improving rate was 86.7%, excellent and good rate was 83.1% (54/65). Anterior and posterior combined surgery before and after comparison was significant (P < 0.05), regardless of near-term results, long-term effects were better than that of anterior or posterior surgery. Conclusions The spinal cord in the treatment of multi-segmental operation of cervical spondylosis after anterior surgery is obviously superior to the efficacy of anterior or posterior surgery alone. Spinal stability anterior, posterior, after a joint operation before the lower one by one.

RESUMEN

Objective To summarize the clinical effects of the treatments of skin necrosis with nickelclad exposure after calcaneal fractures surgery by lateral leg flap. Methods Thirty-five cases of postoperative skin necrosis and nickelclad exposure of calcaneal fractures were repaired by lateral leg flap. Results The flaps was applied successly in 35 cases and followed up from 6 months to 5 years. All cases'wound was primary healing, the texture of the flaps were fine, and the function of the feet was not affected. Conclusion The lateral leg flap is an optimal method for the repair of postoperative skin necrosis and nickelclad expo-sure of calcaneal fractures, which can get satisfactory clinical effects.
