RESUMEN
Epilepsy is a common neurological disease, which requires long-term seizure control with medication. As a particular population, breastfeeding safety and the use of antiepileptic drugs during breastfeeding are significant concerns for those at childbearing age, as it involves maternal health and the growth and development of the offspring. This article reviews the latest evidence regarding breastfeeding in women with epilepsy as a reference for clinicians.
