[Chronic hemodialysis and pregnancy about a case report]

The women with chronic renal failure in advanced stage have a compromised fertility. The hemodialysis improves considerably the fertility of these patients. However, the pregnancies in the dialysed patients are still rare and often lead to spontaneous miscarriage or therapeutic interruption of pregnancy. In our report, we present a case of pregnancy in a dialysed patient and we discuss the outcome, the diagnosis and the management of these pregnancies

[Persistent stapedial artery - a case report]

The persistent stapedial artery is a rare congenital vascular anomaly that may present as pulsatile tinnue or may appear as incidental finding. It can occur as an isolated anomaly or in association with an aberrant internal carotid artery. We report the case of a 13-year-old girl presenting with left hearing loss and a retrotympanic reddish pulsatile mass on otoscopic examination. A computed tomography scan and a MRI were performed and identified a persistent stapedial artery associated with an aberrant left internal carotid artery
