RESUMEN

The detailed analysis of naturally occurring stones such as coral, oyster, peorl and egg-shell etc. was performed. A significant amount of calcium, magnesium, copper, zinc and manganese were found in their composition. All these elements have been declared as essential trace elements for the human body. The value of zinc was found to be between 4-83 micro g/gm., magnesium 4-95 micro g/gm., manganese 0.04 - 4 micro g/gm and calcium 25-99 micro g/gm of the ash

RESUMEN

Due to supplementation of zinc citrate to the T.B. patients, in the final scanning the magnitude of copper went on decreasing when zinc was moving sharply upwards from 64.16A +/- 24.16 to 84.75 +/- 14.03 micro g/dl. Results indicated that there was proportionate rise in weight between the range of 41.08 to 43.2 kilograms in zinc supplemented T.B. patients

RESUMEN

Diabetec patient's hair samples were taken in order to study the effect of disease on the concentration of trace elements [copper, zinc and chromium]. The samples were analysed by atomic absorption spectroscopy. In most of the cases higher concentration of copper [8 ppm to 14 ppm] and low concentrations of zinc [40 ppm to 55 ppm] and chromium [0.1 ppm to 0.2 ppm] than a normal person was observed. This increase in value of copper and decrease in the value of zinc and chromium can be considered at the time of prescription. The administration of chromium and zinc salts to the diabetic patient can affect positively by bringing the normal value of chromium and zinc in the human body it may help in controlling the disease
