Inhibitory effect of PI3Kδ inhibitor idelalisib on proliferation of human myeloid leukemia cells and the reversal effect on drug resistance to adriamycin / 中南大学学报(医学版)

OBJECTIVES@#To investigate the effect of adriamycin (ADM), idelalisib or ADM and their combination on cell proliferation and intracellular concentration of ADM, and to explore the reversal effect of idelalisib on drug resistance to ADM.@*METHODS@#The K562 and K562/ADM cells were respectively treated with ADM and idelalisib at different concentrations. The 50% inhibitory concentration (IC@*RESULTS@#The cell survival rates were significantly decreased in a dose-dependent manner when the cells were treated with different doses of ADM (0.001-10.000 mg/L ). The IC@*CONCLUSIONS@#Idelalisib exerts effect on inhibition of the proliferation in myeloid leukemia K562 and K562/ADM cells, which may partially reverse the drug resistance of K562/ADM cells to ADM. The mechanisms for the effect of idelalisib may be related to increasing the accumulation of ADM and inducing the cell apoptosis in the K562 and K562/ADM cells.

Clinical observation on the treatment of severe perennial allergic rhinitis with acupuncture on sphenopalatine ganglion / 国际中医中药杂志

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture on sphenopalatine ganglion in the treatment of severe perennial allergic rhinitis (PAR) in a randomized controlled clinical trials. Methods A total of 81 patients with severe perennial allergic rhinitis were randomly divided into three groups: 27 in the observation group, 27 in the drug control group and 27 in the acupuncture control group. The patients in the observation group were treated with acupuncture on sphenopalatine ganglion; and the patients in the drug control group took Desloratadine; and the patient in the acupuncture control group were treated with acupuncture on Yintang (GV 29) and Yingxiang (LI 20). All the groups were treated for 4 weeks. The TNNS and VAS score system were tested before and after the treatment, and the nasal exhalation of nitric oxide (eNO) concentration level wa detected at baseline and each week's during treatments. Results After the treatment,the effective rate [80.8%(21/26)vs.64.0%(16/25),65.4%(17/26),x2=13.811]of the observation group was significantly higher than either the drug control group or the acupuncture control group (P<0.01). Compared to the score of the three group before treatment, the TNNS score was significantly lower (P<0.01) after the treatment. Compared with the drug control group, the level of eNO in nasal exhalation air (265.377 ± 36.475 ppb vs. 281.769 ±45.823 ppb vs. 295.231 ± 24.595 ppb, F=4.247) of the observation group and the acupuncture control group were significantly higher (P<0.05). Conclusions Acupuncture on the sphenopalatine ganglion can not reduce the eNO concentration level of nasal exhaled air in patients with perennial allergic rhinitis, but it can improve the symptoms of rhinitis. The clinical effect of acupuncture on the sphenopalatine ganglion was better than the desloratadine and acupuncture on GV 29 and LI 20.

Advances of treatment for early stage extranodal nature killer/T-cell lymphoma, nasal type / 中国医师杂志

Extranodal natural killer/T-cell lymphoma (ENKTL) (nasal type) is a special type of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.This disease is highly aggressive with rapid progression and poor prognosis.It appears mostly in nasal cavity,most patients are in early stage,and the treatment outcome and prognosis are poor.There is no standard treatment scheme.Recently,L-asparaginase based chemotherapy shows good short-term effect and long-term survival in the treatment of localized extranodal natural killer/T-cell lymphoma.This review will explore the advances of treatment for localized extranodal nature killer/T-cell lymphoma.

Analysis of diagnosis and therapy for seven cases of urinary tract endometriosis / 中国医师进修杂志

Objective To investigate the method of clinical diagnosis and treatment for urinary tract endometriosis (UTE).Methods The clinical data of 7 patients with UTE were analyzed retrospectively.Mean age was 36.5-year old.Two cases were diagnosed by taking cystoscopic biopsy tissue,the others were confirmed by intraoperative and postoperative pathology.Under the adjuvant treatment of endocrine,2 patients were performed partial cystectomy and ureteral resection and end-to-end anastomosis in 4 patients,1 patient undertook ureteric reimplantation.Results Among 7 patients,2 patients had endometrial ectopic bladder,4 patients had endometrial ectopic ureter,1 patient had endometrisis of bladder and urter.After operation,no leak and recurrence occurred 2-3 years of follow-up.Conclusions UTE is rarely seen and usually escape the attention of the physicians,endocrine therapy with surgical resection is the primary method.Choice of surgical approach should be based on a variety of factors lesion location,scope,depth,bilateral renal function,etc.

The establishing of renal transplantation model in non-human primate / 中国基层医药

Objective To explore renal transplantation model in non-human primate cynomolgus monkeys.Methods 50 non-human primates' kidneys were transplanted into the lower part of the abdomen with end-to-side anastomosis of renal artery to aorta and renal vein to inferior vena eava,and with end-to-end anastomosis of ureter to bladder.Results In the 50 cases,1 case death as accident of anesthesia;7 cases with postoperative complications,and all with creatinine sudden rise,after ultrasonic examinations showed that 2 cases with renal vein thrombosis,and 5 cases appeared urinary leakage.All animal models were without surgical infections,and with normal serum creatinine,urine output.Conclusion Non-human primate animal kidney transplantation model establishment method is reliable,but should pay attention to the the surgical technique training,complications prevention.The model is valuable for application in the research of immune tolerance,heterogeneous transplant.
