RESUMEN

This is a report of three cases of three male patients. One of the patients had myelodysplastic syndrome, and two had aplastic anemia; their ages were 28, 32, and 21 years old, respectively. Two patients underwent sibling allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and one underwent haploidentical hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. All the patients showed elevated hemoglobin and hematocrit at 6, 16, and 9 months after transplantation, with normal white blood cells and platelets and no splenomegaly. All causes of secondary polycythemia were ruled out. Bone marrow morphology showed no erythroid hyperplasia. The PCR result for BCR-ABL (P210, P230, P190, and variants) was negative, and there were no mutations at the amino acid site 617 of JAK2, exon 12 of JAK2, exon 9 of CALR, and amino acid site 515 of MPL. All three patients had hypertension. One patient was treated with amlodipine, and the other two patients were treated with angiotensin receptor blockers. The durations of erythrocytosis for these three patients were 6 years and 3 months, 4 years and 7 months, and 5 years and 3 months, respectively through December 2022. There was no tendency for spontaneous remission. Erythrocytosis after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is a rare complication. Previous reports in the literature suggest that the mechanism of post-transplant erythrocytosis in recipients of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation may be different from that of recipients of other transplants.

Objective@#To explore the effects of individual materialism, social status on victimization, and to provide a reference for the intervention of campus bullying.@*Methods@#A total of 2 597 grade 7 students representing 47 classes from 7 junior middle schools in Zhenzhou were administered with Material Values Scale, Peer Nomination Questionnaire and Victim Questionnaire. Hierarchical Linear Model was used in data analysis.@*Results@#Peer rejection(γ=0.15, P<0.01) and individual materialism(γ=0.13, P<0.01) positively predicted victimization, while popularity negatively predicted victimization(γ=-0.05, P<0.01). Class materialism norm also could positively predict victimization(γ=0.82, P<0.01). Moreover, there was a significant interaction between class materialism norm and peer rejection(γ=0.30, P<0.05), and the results of simple effect showed that with the increase of materialism level, the negative impact of peer rejection on victimization was increasing(γ high=0.18, Z high=7.80; γ low=0.12, Z low=5.50, P<0.01).@*Conclusion@#Peer rejection, individual materialism, popularity and class materialism norm affect individual bullying, and class materialism norm could moderate the relationship between peer rejection and victimization.

The accurate position of the center of rotation (COR) is a key factor to ensure the quality of computed tomography (CT) reconstructed images. The classic cross-correlation matching algorithm can not satisfy the requirements of high-quality CT imaging when the projection angle is 0 and 180°, and thus needs to be improved and innovated. In this study, considering the symmetric characteristic of the 0° and flipped 180° projection data in sinogram, a novel COR correction algorithm based on the translation and match of the 0° and 180° projection data was proposed. The OTSU method was applied to reduce noise on the background, and the minimum offset of COR was quantified using the -norm, and then a precise COR was obtained for the image correction and reconstruction. The Sheep-Logan simulation model with random gradients and Gaussian noise and the real male SD rats samples which contained the heterogenous tooth image and the homogenous liver image, were adopted to verify the performance of the new algorithm and the cross-correlation matching algorithm. The results show that the proposed algorithm has better robustness and higher accuracy of the correction (when the sampled data is from 10% to 50% of the full projection data, the COR value can still be measured accurately using the proposed algorithm) with less computational burden compared with the cross-correlation matching algorithm, and it is able to significantly improve the quality of the reconstructed images.

Objective To study the influence of different suture methods on the uterine diverticulum without suture of subcutaneous fat in cesarean section .Methods 106 cases of cesarean section were randomly divided into two groups according to the digital chart ,53 cases in each group .The control group received single layer suture in cesarean section without suture of subcutaneous fat ,while the observation group received double suture with cesarean section without suture of subcutaneous fat .The incision adverse reactions were observed in the two groups .After 1 year of follow-up,the scar diverticulum in the incision of the uterus was observed .Results In the control group,1 case, 13 cases,9 cases and 0 cases were found fat liquefaction ,subcutaneous induration ,incision redness and swelling ,and the incision union was bad.The incidence rate of adverse reaction was 43.4%.In the observation group,the fat lique-faction,subcutaneous induration ,incision redness and swelling ,incision union were 0 case,2 cases,3 cases,0 case,the incidence rate of adverse reactions was 9.4%.The side effects of incision in the observation group were significantly less than those in the control group(χ2 =13.620,P<0.01).After follow-up for 1 year,the number of diverticula, the muscularis of the diverticulum and the volume of the diverticulum in the control group were 6 cases,(5.51 ± 2.01)mm,(0.46 ±0.13)mL,which in the observation group were 2 cases,(7.63 ±1.63)mm,and (0.31 ±0.11)mL. The incidence of diverticularization in the observation group was significantly less than that in the control group (χ2 =8.960,P<0.05).The diverticulum muscle thickness of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(t=4.631,P<0.05).The diverticulum volume of the observation group was significantly less than that of the control group(t=2.914,P<0.05).Conclusion Cesarean section incision without suture subcutaneous fat bilayer suture is more conducive to the healing of the incision , the formation of scar diverticulum less chance , the formation of scar diverticulum degree is light .

Purpose Liver fibrosis is the common pathological process of cirrhosis developed by chronic liver disease.This study aims to explore the application of microvascular change in assessing the liver fibrosis induced by bile duct ligation based on X-ray phasecontrast computed tomography (PCCT).Materials and Methods Ten rats were equally divided into the group of bile duct ligation-induced liver fibrosis and the control group at random.Then ten excised liver tissues were imaged at beamline BL13W1 of Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility in China.After the imaging studies,the liver samples were stained with Sirius red and immunostained with antibodies against cytokeratin 19 (CK19).The microvasculature in livers was reconstructed via PCCT,and the correlation analysis on microvascular density and the proportion of fibrosis area was performed.Results The microvasculature including blood vessels,dilated bile ducts and ductular proliferation were clearly revealed by PCCT technology.Moreover,the 3D microvascular density and proportion of fibrosis area in the liver fibrosis group increased significantly compared with those in the control group (P<0.01),and the correlation between them was obvious (r=0.812,P<0.01).Conclusion Microvascular 3D characteristics of liver fibrosis are well demonstrated by PCCT,and 3D microvascular density is significantly correlated with the proportion of fibrosis area.Those findings indicate that microvascular change is closely related to the degree of liver fibrosis induced by bile duct ligation,and thus it provides a novel means to assess the severity of liver fibrosis through microvascular change.

We wished to ascertain the prevalence as well as the genetic and antigenic variation of infectious bronchitis viruses (IBVs) circulating in the Guangxi Province of China in recent years. The S1 gene of 15 IBV field isolates during 2012-2013 underwent analyses in terms of the similarity of amino-acid sequences, creation of phylogenetic trees, recombination, and serologic identification. Similarities in amino-acid sequences among the 15 isolates of the S1 gene were 54.3%-99.6%, and 43.3%-99.3% among 15 isolates and reference strains. Compared with the vaccine strain H120, except for GX-YL130025, the other 14 isolates showed a lower similarity of amino-acid sequences of the S1 gene (65.1-81.4%). Phylogenetic analyses of the S1 gene suggested that 15 IBV isolates were classified into eight genotypes, with the predominant genotype being new-type II. Recombination analyses demonstrated that the S1 gene of the GX-NN130048 isolate originated from recombination events between vaccine strain 4/91 and a LX4-like isolate. Serotyping results suggested that seven serotypes prevailed during 2012-2013 in Guangxi Province, and that only one isolate was consistent with the vaccine strain H120 in serotype (which has been used widely in recent years). The serotype of recombinant isolate GX-NN130048 was different from those of its parent strains. These results suggested that not only the genotype, but also the serotype of IBV field isolates in Guangxi Province had distinct variations, and that increasing numbers of genotypes and serotypes are in circulation. We showed that recombination events can lead to the emergence of new serotypes. Our study provides new evidence for understanding of the molecular mechanisms of IBV variations, and the development of new vaccines against IBVs.

Objective Idiopathic membranous nephropathy(IMN)is a common cause of nephrotic syndrome in adults,and the prognosis of IMN varies among individuals. The aim of this study was to investigate the prognosis and risk factors,especially the prognostic indicators in kidney patholo?gies for IMN. Methods Patients diagnosed as IMN by renal biopsy from January 2006 to December 2011 were collected and those who finished at least 12 months of follow?up were enrolled in this study. The clinical and renal pathological indicators were collected and the correlation between the pathological indicators and the prognosis was analyzed. Results Totally 137 patients were enrolled in this study,18 patients(13.14%)reached the follow up ending point(defined as eGFR<30 mL/min). The prognosis of kidney function was poor in IMN patients with interstitial fibrosis,tubular atrophy and severe vascular sclerosis and those who were older at disease onset and demonstrated to have higher MAP,poorer renal function,intersti?tial fibrosis,tubular atrophy and worse vascular sclerosis. Conclusion Renal pathological characteristics during renal biopsy were correlated with the renal prognosis of IMN. Severe interstitial fibrosis,tubular atrophy and vascular sclerosis were identified as risk factors for the poor prognosis of re?nal function in IMN patients.

Objective To investigate the application of statins in secondary prevention of ischemic stroke in different risk groups,and to identify the factors influencing the comphcance of statins.Me.ods Ischemic stroke patients from December 2011 to October 2012 were collected.All clinical characterisitcs and possible factors influencing the compliance of statins was recorded in 3 months.The multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of the compliance of statins.Results All 368 patients were collected,and 67.9%(250/368) patients were prescribed statins for therapy during hospitalization.The application rate of statins in accordance with guidelines in high-risk,extremely high-risk Ⅱ and extremely high-risk Ⅰ patients was 28.1% (18/64),44.1% (30/68) and 72.3% (136/188),respectively.Logistic regression analysis showed that the statins application during hospitalization was associated with the presence of carotid vulnerable plaques (OR =5.308,P =0.000) and diabetes history (OR =1.789,P =0.032).Routine discharge instructions had high compliance.Conclusion The compliance of statins in secondary prevention of ischemic stroke still has a large gap between clinical practice and guidelines,and routine discharge instructions on statins application increase the compliance of statins.
