É um malabarismo com vários pratos ao mesmo tempo!: o trabalho docente em universidades públicas / Its a juggling with several dishes at the same time!: teaching work in public universities

Resumo: Este artigo apresenta parte dos resultados de pesquisa que objetivou analisar as condições do trabalho docente nos cursos de Serviço Social de universidades públicas do Rio Grande do Norte. Nessa perspectiva, analisa os impactos da contrarreforma do Estado na política educacional e suas expressões no contexto investigado. Os resultados evidenciam que o trabalho docente se efetiva em meio a condições adversas e sobrecarga de trabalho, submergindo tempo de descanso e até momentos de adoecimento.

Abstract: This article presents part of the research results that aimed to analyze the conditions of teaching work in Social Work courses of public universities of Rio Grande do Norte. In this perspective, we analyze the impacts of the State counter-reform on educational policy and its expressions in the investigated context. The results show that teaching work goes in the midst of adverse conditions and work overload, submerging rest times and even moments of illness.

Gênero e tendências contemporâneas: uma análise do Seminário Internacional "Desfazendo Gênero" / Gender and contemporary trends: an analysis of the international seminar "Undoing gender"

Este trabalho objetiva analisar como vem se dando, contemporaneamente, a discussão sobre a categoria gênero. Para tanto, buscou-se fazer uma análise das produções publicadas nos anais do Seminário Internacional Desfazendo Gênero, realizado em 2013 em Natal (RN). Esse evento objetivou discutir a categoria gênero e, como próprio nome sugere, "desconstruir/desfazer o gênero". Ou seja, percebe-se a influência da Teoria Queer na concepção do encontro a partir do próprio título. O critério estabelecido para a escolha da amostra foi priorizar comunicações orais em que contivesse a palavra "gênero" em seu título, tendo em vista que é o foco da nossa discussão. Foram analisados 51 trabalhos e verificou-se a predominância de análises ligadas à Teoria Queer. Nesses estudos, baseados em perspectivas subjetivistas, há, a nosso ver, uma valorização excessiva do discurso, incentivando o individualismo e a superficialidade, favorecendo, portanto, a ordem do capital.

This study aims to examine how the discussion about gender category has been going on currently. For that, we seek to analyze the published productions in the annals of the International Seminar "Undoing Gender", held in 2013, in Natal (RN), because it is an event which discusses the gender category and as the event's name suggests, the proposal is "deconstruct / undo the genre", that is, we see the influence of queer theory since event the title. The criterion for choosing sample was oral communications that contained the word gender in its title, considering that this is the focus of our discussion. It analyzed 51 works and it found the prevalence of analyzes related to queer theory. In these studies, that are based on subjectivist perspectives, there is, in our view, an excessive appreciation of speech, encouraging individualism and superficiality, favoring therefore the order of the capital.

Formação profissional em serviço social e gênero: algumas considerações / Professional formation in Social Work and Gender: some considerations

Este artigo apresenta os resultados da pesquisa realizada com 32 universidades do Brasil. Foram aplicados 54 questionários com docentes e discentes dos cursos de Serviço Social presenciais, com o objetivo de conhecer a realidade do ensino das disciplinas, grupos de estudo e pesquisadores ligados às questões de gênero. Os dados mostram que em todos os cursos pesquisados há disciplinas, grupos e pesquisadores ligados à temática de gênero. As disciplinas são eletivas e ofertadas no final do curso. Há em torno de três a quatro pesquisadores e um grupo de pesquisa por universidade. É necessário redefinir a inclusão do tema na graduação.

This article presents the results of the research done in 32 Brazilian universities. Fifty-four questionnaires were answered by professors and students of classroom Social Work courses in order to know the reality of the teaching of the disciplines, study groups and researchers linked to gender issues. The results show that in every course researched there are disciplines, groups and researchers linked to the gender issue. The disciplines are elective and taken at the end of the course. There are about 3 or 4 researchers and 1 group of study per university. It is necessary to redefine the insert of the theme in the graduation course.
