RESUMEN

In this study, 14 children below 3 years of age suffering from stertor, snoring and OSA were studied and treated medically and surgically. They were divided into two groups [A and B] according to the presence or absence of multiple cervical lymph node enlargement. Adenotonsillectomy was done in group A and adenoidectomy was done in group B. Indications of either operation is suggested according to the soft palatal appearance in the X-ray. Both sides bulging of the soft palate indicated adenotonsillectomy. Nasal side bulging alone is an indication for adenoidectomy alone. The study showed that multiple cervical lymphadenopathy has no direct relation to OSA development or management
