RESUMEN

Pearl like tumor in the anterior chamber of the eye is a not uncommon affection of children eyes, difficult to tract by topical and/or systemic steroid assuming that the condition is allergic in origin. To assess the effect of sub-conjunctival steroid injection in these cases. It is a retrospective study for all patients aged between 10 - 18 years presenting with a unilateral grayish white nodule at the angle of the anterior chamber of the eye sub-conjunctival long acting steroid was given for all patients and the follow up was done for one year. 10 eyes of 10 patients were included in this research. One child was a new case and 9 were recurrent cases. All 10 then had varying degree of anterior ureitis. After steroid injection the severity of iritic decreased in all patients. The size of the lesion decreased to more than 50% after 2 months. sub-conjunctival steroid injection for pearl like lesion in the anterior chamber of the eye is a safe and effective way of treating such lesion
