Este artigo propõe um diálogo entre as teorizações psicanalíticas de Sandor Ferenczi e Donald Winnicott a respeito do papel do objeto no psiquismo, tanto em sua dimensão traumática como constitutiva. Serão discutidas as contribuições convergentes dos autores à concepção psicanalítica de trauma e suas vicissitudes no psiquismo. Seguindo uma tradição de valorização do meio ambiente, o trauma passa a ser pensado como falha na relação entre o sujeito e outro.

This article suggests a dialogue between the psychoanalytic theories of Sandor Ferenczi and Donald Winnicott concerning the role of the object in the psyche, both in its constitutive and traumatic dimensions. The converging contributions of the authors to the psychoanalytic concept of trauma and its vicissitudes in the psyche will be discussed. Following a tradition of valuing the environment, the trauma comes to be thought of as a failure in the relationship between the subject and the other.

L’article propose un dialogue entre les théorisations psychanalytiques de Sandor Frenczi et Donald Winnicott sur le rôle de l’objet dans le psychisme, dans sa dimension traumatique, aussi bien que dans sa dimension constitutive. Les contributions convergentes des auteurs sur la conception psychanalytique du trauma e de ses vicissitudes dans le psychisme seront ici examinées. Suivant une tradition de valorisation du rôle de l’environnement, le trauma est pensé comme une défaillance dans la relation entre le sujet et l’autre.

Serán discutidos los aportes convergentes de los autores a la concepción psicoanalítica del trauma y sus vicisitudes en el psiquismo. Siguiendo una tradición de valoración del ambiente, el trauma pasa a ser pensado como falla en la relación entre el sujeto y otro.

Trauma: o avesso da memória / Trauma: the reverse of memory

O presente trabalho é uma interrogação à teoria psicanalítica acerca das ressonâncias do traumatismo na função psíquica da memória, a partir da leitura das obras de Sigmund Freud, Sandor Ferenczi, Nicolas Abraham e Maria Torok. Sustenta-se que o traumático subverte o registro psíquico dos acontecimentos. A imagem paradoxal do trauma enquanto avesso da memória espera oferecer uma figurabilidade a esta subversão, indicando a alteração no direcionamento dos investimentos psíquicos.

The present essay comprises an interrogation to psychoanalysis theory on the consequences of trauma in the psychic role of memory, based on the works of Sigmund Freud, Sandor Ferenczi e Nicolas Abraham e Maria Torok. We state that the traumatic subverts the psychic registry of events. The paradoxical image of trauma as the reverse of memory intends to offer a symbolism to this subversion, indicating the change in the direction of the psychic cathexis.
