RESUMEN
A reabilitação protética de pacientes edêntulos com prótese sobre implante tem tido alto índice de crescimento nos últimos anos. Esse crescimento está atrelado ao número de implantes dentários realizados e a qualidade que a prótese sobre implante apresenta. A adaptação passiva da prótese sobre implantes é de vital importância para o bom funcionamento do sistema e baixos índices de perda ou manutenção da prótese. O processo de fundição dos componentes envolve diversos elementos que interferem na passividade da prótese. O presente trabalho apresenta o processo de desenvolvimento e os testes realizados em um sistema de brunimento de componentes calcináveis para prótese sobre implantes. São apresentados os resultados de análise com microscopia eletrônica das interfaces de fechamento: a) implante/prótese simples; b) burnida; c) burnida e polida e d) com dois tipos de jateamento.
The prosthetic rehabilitation of edentulous patients with implant-supported prosthesis has increased consistently in recent years. This growth is related to the number of dental implant installed and the quality presented by the prosthesis. The passive adaptation of the implant-supported prothesis is of vital importance for the proper system functioning and low rates of loss or prothesis maintenance. The process of casting of components involves several elements that interfere on the prosthesis passiveness. The present work presents the process of development and the tests results of a new burnishing system for castable abutments and the electronic microscopic results of implant/abutment interfaces fit for simple, burnished, polished and burnished, with two types of blasting.
