Carotid artery stenosis presented with sudden blindness

Two cases of carotid stenosis are presented here who got admitted last year at Nizwa hospital with sudden blindness. Also different methods of detecting crotid artery stenosis are discussed. It is stressed that listening for a carotid bruit is useful in daignosing carotid stenosis with or without symptoms
