RESUMEN
Candidates for this study were four patients complaining of pain and numbness during eating. The pain is due to the instability of the lower denture and flat lower ridge. The numbness is due to the pressure performed from the base of the lower denture to the area of the mental nerve. All patients were subjected to fenestrated mucosal flap vestibuloplasty with relocation or transpositioning of the mental nerve to a lower position, so that, the pressure performed by the denture base will be away from the mental nerve. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia in the outpatient clinic
