RESUMEN
Cyanoacrylate instant adhesives have gained popularity in commercial, domestic, and medical use. The accidental entry of glue into the eye causing instant tarsorrhaphy may happen when a tube with opening clogged by the dried glue suddenly bursts during squeezing, as demonstrated by our report of the case of a 22-year-old woman. A better container or delivery system by the manufacturer can significantly reduce this danger. However, one must not forget that if the accidental entry into the eye does happen, there may form dangerous sharpedged casts in the conjunctival cul de sac behind the closed glued eyelids. Because of this potentially serious and sight threatening possibility, we recommend immediate surgical management of extensive accidental tarsorrhaphy due to instant glue
