RESUMEN
La vida del hombre en la actualidad, no puede concebirse sin los avances de la ciencia y la técnica que tuvieron lugar entre los siglos XVIII y XX. Cada día se invierte más en el desarrollo de la ciencia y la tecnología. Desde la óptica de la profesión médica, interesa el constante desarrollo científico que permita mejorar la salud de la población. Sin embargo, debe ser una preocupación, los perjuicios a la salud de los individuos que representa el desarrollo tecnológico. Se llevó a cabo un análisis bibliográfico y documental, con el objetivo de valorar los efectos negativos para la salud humana, de los avances científico- técnicos, específicamente en Cuba. El uso indiscriminado de los avances científico-tecnológicos puede dañar la salud y el abuso de estos, puede dar al traste con la vida del hombre(AU)
The life of man today, cannot be conceived without the advances of science and technology, which took place between the eighteenth and twentieth centuries. Every day more is invested in the development of science and technology. From the perspective of the medical profession, interested in the constant scientific development, to improve the health of the population. However, it must be a concern, the damages to the health of the individuals that represent the technological development. A bibliographic and documentary analysis was carried out, with the objective of assessing the negative effects for human health, of scientific and technical advances, specifically in Cuba. The indiscriminate use of scientific-technological advances can damage the health and abuse of these, can ruin the life of man(AU)
