RESUMEN

Objective:To explore the mediating effect of empathy between personality traits and death attitude in nursing students. Methods:From April to May 2022, a total of 237 undergraduate nursing students were surveyed by general information questionnaire, big five inventory, Jefferson scale of empathy for nursing students, and death attitude profile-revised. Common method bias test, correlation analysis and descriptive analysis were conducted by SPSS 26.0 software.PROCESS macro program was used to test the mediating effect.Results:Agreeableness(32.78±4.92), empathy(110.03±16.83)were positively correlated with positive death attitude(57.95±12.35)( r=0.274, 0.571, both P<0.01), neuroticism(23.00±4.78)was positively correlated with negative death attitude(31.81±10.04)( r=0.199, P<0.01), empathy was negatively correlated with negative death attitude ( r=-0.226, P<0.01). Empathy partially mediated the relationship between neuroticism and negative death attitude, the mediating effect accounted for 16.08%(0.032/0.199) of the total effect, and empathy played a completely mediating role between the agreeableness and positive death attitude. Conclusion:The death attitude of undergraduate nursing students is mainly natural acceptance. Personality traits can directly affect death attitude and also indirectly affect death attitude through empathy.

RESUMEN

Objective:To explore the effect of supportive-expressive group therapy (SEGT) on alexithymia in patients with lung cancer. Methods:Totally 62 lung cancer patients were divided into control group( n=30) and intervention group( n=32) by coin flipping method. The intervention group received 6-week supportive-expressive group therapy and the intervention path was improved by action research method. There was no special intervention in the control group. The Toronto alexithymia scale (TAS-20) and hospital anxiety and depression scale (HADS) were used for measurement, and statistical analysis was carried out by SPSS 21.0. Results:The emotional recognition disorder (Wald groupχ 2=6.055, Wald interactionχ 2=15.157), emotional description disorder (Wald groupχ 2=5.736, Wald interactionχ 2=28.912), TAS-20 (Wald groupχ 2=7.181, Wald interactionχ 2=28.126), anxiety (Wald groupχ 2=4.905, Wald interactionχ 2=30.491), depression (Wald groupχ 2=9.580, Wald interactionχ 2=29.417) and HADA (Wald groupχ 2=8.140, Wald interactionχ 2=47.851) had significant group effect and interaction effect at the pre-test, post-test and 1 month after intervention(all P<0.05). There was no significant group effect in extroverted thinking (Wald groupχ 2=1.161, P>0.05), but the time effect (Wald timeχ 2=6.381, P<0.05) and the interaction effect (Wald interactionχ 2=6.339, P<0.05) were significant in the three time points. The group effect of emotional recognition disorder, emotional description disorder, TAS-20, anxiety, depression and HADA score at completed intervention and 1 month after intervention were significant(all P<0.05). Compared with before intervention, TAS-20((52.94±4.77) , (52.06±4.07)), emotional recognition disorder((17.72±2.23) , (17.78±1.64)), emotional description disorder((13.44±1.94) , (13.41±1.79)), HADA((14.41±2.63) , (13.75±2.97)), anxiety ((7.03±1.64), (6.84±1.51)), depression ((7.38±1.45) , (6.91±1.75) ) at completed intervention and 1 month after intervention decreased ( P<0.05), while the HADS of control group only decreased at completed intervention ( P<0.05). Conclusion:SEGT can reduce alexithymia in lung cancer receiving chemotherapy, and this intervention has positive effect on improving anxiety and depression in lung cancer patients received chemotherapy who are accompanied with emotional cognitive impairment and emotional somatic symptom recognition disorder.

RESUMEN

Objective To summarize the nursing experience of non-invasive high- frequency ventilation in very low birth weight infants. Methods A total of 21 cases in 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. Ensuring effective ventilation, keeping the infants quiet, taking care of complication and strict observation were the key points. Results Sixteen cases had satisfied results, 2 cases were transferred to another hospital, and 3 cases died. Fourteen of the 21-cases successfully withdrawn from the machine, while 33.3%(7/21) of the cases were using invasive respiratory support. Conclusions Careful and meticulous nursing of non-invasive high-frequency ventilation can ensure the effectiveness of the invasive respiratory support, and promote the successful withdrawal, and reduce the intubation rate in very low birth weight infants.

RESUMEN

Objective To investigate the training scale and social demand of nursing undergraduates in recent five years in Henan province, and supply reference for trend of talent supply and demand in future five years in Henan province. Methods A cross-sectional questionnaire survey were taken,6 nursing colleges,78 hospitals took part in the survey.Literature searching and trend extrapolation method were used to predict the demand of nursing talents in Henan province from 2011 to 2015.Results Tertiary hospitals demand more nurses with bachelor degree than secondary hospitals; the appropriate proportion of nurses with bachelor degree in all nurses was 30%~50%; besides,a predictive model equation was proposed. Conclusions The scale of undergraduate nursing should develop in appropriate ratio based on the predictive values; we should strengthen undergraduate nursing education for all-around development to adapt tertiary hospitals and community nursing trend, and the predictive model equation needs continuous emendation.

RESUMEN

Objective To study the expression of WWOX, ErbB2 and Ki67 protein in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) and the relationships with cell proliferation. Methods WWOX and ErbB2 protein expressions were evaluated by immunohistochemistry in 81 NSCLC patients (50 squamous cell carcinomas,31 adenocarcinomas and 20 adjacent normal lung tissues) and the correlations with histopathologic cell proliferation were analyzed. Results WWOX expression was absent/reduced in 72.8% of NSCLC, while it was normal in 80.0% of adjacent normal lung tissues. WWOX expression was strongly associated with tumor histology, histologic grade and lymph node metastasis ( X2 = 5.44, P = 0.019 ; X2 = 4.740, P = 0.029, X2 = 4.51, P = 0.034 ), reduced WWOX expression was higher in squamous cell carcinomas and in poorly differentiated tumors. The overexpression of ErbB2 was associated with TNM stage and lymph node metastasis ( X2 = 6.90, P = 0.009 ; X2= 5.68, P=0.017). WWOX expression was negatively related to the overexpression of ErbB2 (r=-0.239, P <0.05 ). WWOX expression intensity was nega-tively related to the high index of cell proliferation (r=-0.252, P<0.05 ). Conclusion The loss of WWOX ex-pression plays different roles in tumorigenesis of NSCLC and is related to high aggressiveness of tumors. The loss of WWOX expression and the overexpression of ErbB2 can estimate the prognosis of NSCLC.

RESUMEN

Objective To investigate the rivalry mechanism of ginkgo in rat brain edema after intracerebral hemorrhage. Methods Totally 80 healthy Wistar rats were divided into 4 groups randomly(20 rats in each group).Fifty microliters saline(group A and group B) or auto-hemoglobin(group C and group D) was infused into the right caudate nuclears using stereo tactic guidance.Groups A and C were lavaged 50 g/L carboxymethyl cellulose sodium solution of 3 mL,groups B and D were lavaged the same amount of ginkgo(200 mg/kg) solution dissolved by 50 g/L carboxymethyl cellulose sodium solution once a day for 3 weeks. All the rats were decapitated after raised for 3 weeks, and superoxide dismutase, malondialdehyde, and the number of hemeoxygenase-1(HO-1) positive cells in brains were assayed. Results The differences in SOD and MDA contents as well as HO-1 positive cell number between every two groups were significant(P
